We hired General Tso’s Restaurant & Catering for our wedding in Atlanta, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. If you’re searching for wedding catering in Atlanta that is affordable, reliable, and high-quality, this team delivers on all fronts. The food was outstanding — the General Tso’s chicken, lo mein, and fried rice were crowd favorites, and everything was served fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Many of our guests commented that it was the best Chinese wedding catering they’ve had, which says a lot considering the diverse group we hosted. From an operations standpoint, their team is extremely professional. They were on time, well-organized, and efficient with setup and breakdown, which made the entire wedding day stress-free. Communication was clear throughout the process, and they were flexible in helping us stay within budget without sacrificing quality or portion size. What really stands out is their ability to handle volume — they served our guests quickly without long wait times, which is critical for weddings. You can tell they have strong systems and experience with large-scale catering and event logistics. If you’re planning a wedding or event and need dependable catering in Atlanta with great value for money, General Tso’s is a smart choice. We would absolutely use them again for future events.

Hannah, at Talk of the Town, provided amazing and totally reliable service and expertise throughout the process of wedding planning for a sit down, served meal. She was accomodating to all our special requests and responsive. The food at the event was delicious and top-notch - like a fine restaurant. Service was also excellent at the event. Highly recommend Talk of the Town and will certainly use them again when the need arises.

Ms. Vanessa, Pamela, and the whole team at Step-by-Step were easily one of the best vendors we chose. Vanessa was wonderful from start to finish and her food is DELICIOUS! My husband doesn’t even like shrimp but he couldn’t get enough of her coconut shrimp! Vanessa drove all the way from Atlanta to Hiawassee for my final walk through so she could see the space and get a layout, my planners said that’s very rare for out of town caterers. I gave Vanessa and Pamela an idea of what I wanted for my tables and they nailed it! Guests were coming up to me all night telling me how good the food was, and we are still hearing about it three weeks later. Vanessa also made sure we ate and set aside food for us for after the wedding, which was so wonderful because we were super hungry. Step by Step is timely, professional, wonderful decorators and the food is so yummy! I am so happy I booked them and would do it again in a heartbeat. You cannot beat this place.

We began working with Thrive a little over one year before our wedding. Nikki was our point of contact throughout the process and made everything so easy! We had a lot of changes throughout the planning process and Nikki was incredibly patient and accommodating the entire time. The food for our wedding was the most important part to us and Thrive truly knocked it out of the park. We had three passed apps for cocktail hour, family style dinner and a dessert buffet. We got so many compliments on the food! I promise that no one left hungry. The service was amazing as well! We did have a sweetheart table, so even though we did family style, they still plated everything for us. The captain was attentive, but not disruptive and kept our drinks full! Something that really stood out to me was how custom the whole evening was to us. If you want something, just ask and they will make it happen.

Chef Mark and his team were such an incredible part of our wedding experience. From the very beginning, they were responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our menu feel personal. We were so impressed by the variety they offered, and as two people who love to cook, it meant a lot to create a meal that truly reflected us as a couple. On our wedding day, despite an unexpected power outage that delayed the start of our reception, Chef Mark and his team handled everything seamlessly. The food was prepared on time, tasted absolutely amazing, and was served without a hitch. Our guests gave us so many compliments about the meal, and it was clear how much effort went into every detail. Chef Mark and his wife, Hayley, are not only talented at what they do but also incredibly kind people, which made the entire experience even better. We are so happy we chose Savannah Event Catering and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional caterer in the Savannah area!
