The Sated Spoon

We used Chef Val and his team for our wedding. From the first email, to the tasting, to the day of the wedding, Chef Val communicated everything. Chef and his team were professionals and the guests raved about the dinner and desserts. Absolutely phenomenal! People were going back for seconds, and the only complaint we (the couple) had was we didn’t order more to go!! During the wedding “debrief” the thing we wouldn’t change if we did it all again was the food. Hot, fresh, and delicious; we cannot recommend Chef Val enough for any event you may have in Savannah. (Sorry we didn’t have any photos, it would have just been clean plates)

I found Chef Val after he reached out to me offering his services on a Facebook ad I made. We had a very good initial conversation where he answered all my questions. He easily accommodated all of our wishes for our wedding and even drove to South Carolina from his shop in Rincon. His food speaks for itself. We had the taco bar for our rehearsal and all our friends wanted seconds. For our dinner we had his steak w chimichurri and redfish, mashed potatoes and green beans. Our guests raved about how good it was for days, weeks and even months later. My husband and I also thought it was delicious. Chef Val and his team were so kind and helpful during all of our wedding proceedings. I absolutely recommend his services.

Chef Val and his team at Sated Spoon did such an amazing job! From our first introduction where Val gave us a preview of all of our options, we knew we made the right choice coming to Sated Spoon. Everything was so delicious on our wedding day, all of our guests raved about the appetizers and dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better choice, Chef Val is a talented culinary artist that needs to be experienced by all!

Chef Val and his crew did a spectacular meal for our son's and daughter in loves wedding this past weekend. The stuffed chicken with roast garlic and parmesan cream sauce was so moist and tender, 16hr braised brisket with mushroom gravy was chefs kiss, Tuscan roasted potatoes, bacon roasted green beans was divine and house-made rolls from @sweettopia.ga, as well as a nice salad. I highly recommend them to cater your next event.

From start to finish- Chef Val was amazing. He was great about suggesting different options and was very responsive when I reached out with questions. The staff was very efficient, professional and frIendly. The food was absolutely amazing. Many of the guests commented during and after the wedding about how delicious the food was. I highly recommend The Sated Spoon. You will not regret it.
