It doesn't get better than this!
Can we say it was love at first taste? Seriously, we might’ve had the best food tasting experience with Mark. Had we known it was going to be a “insert course number” meal, we would’ve skipped dinner the night before. We submitted our tasting request to Mark, and it was all delicious. He even cooked items we hadn’t selected so we could try it. Everything was delicious and it was extremely difficult to narrow down our selection. Fast forward to wedding day and my oh my was the food delicious. The appetizers were loved by our guest, the dinner was loved by our guest, and the flaming hot donuts were devoured by our guest. Let’s take a step back to the dinner. We opted to have a buffet to serve our Dominican-American menu. The pernil (roasted pork) with lime mojo sauce was and still is the talk of the wedding. We’ve had friends and family tell us about how many plates of pork and plantains they ate on wedding night and their attempts to make a copy cat recipe of the lime mojo sauce. It was that good. The pernil was a special request, and Mark absolutely cooked it to perfection. One thing you want to have is good food and Mark and his chefs at Savannah Event Catering made sure our guest loved their meal. And to finish off the night, we opted for the coke and bourbon glazed flaming donuts. They tasted like it sounds, divine. We highly recommend you add these treats. The presentation is cool too because they cook them in front of your guest and light the pan on fire. The only bad thing was the lack of leftovers for us the next day, but we have to blame that on our guest for making 3 trips to the buffet line!!! Oh and let us not forget to mention how AFFORDABLE everything was. We are so grateful for Mark working with our budget and still making our requests possible!Sent on 01/27/2021

People Are Still Talking
Chef Mark and his crew simply provided the best options. Chef Mark was the only chef my daughter and her fiance with whom they had a tasting and it was a one and done. Wedding guests are still talking about the food. The beef and mushroom risotto was a huge hit! There were no leftovers.Sent on 01/25/2021

Savannah Wedding DJ Ray just had the pleasure of working with this vendor at an awesome wedding ceremony and reception at the Red Gate Farms' THE BARN and the buffet was enjoyed very much with everyone. So much that this is the first time in many months that a catering event company had satisfied their guests that there wasn't any food left that had to be delivered to a church or shelter.
