Mark and his team are truly outstanding.  My daughter’s wedding on May 9 in Savannah was perfect!   There is no one better than Elegant Savannah Weddings. He was there every step of the way in constant communication.  As we watched the potential for inclement weather, he was prepared with backup plans.  I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Elegant Savannah Weddings was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made—Mark and his entire team were absolutely phenomenal.

From the very beginning, Mark was incredibly organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we wanted. Since we were planning from Atlanta and Seattle, having him on the ground in Savannah made all the difference. He would check measurements, visit the venue, and handle logistics we simply couldn’t manage from afar. He even allowed us to send materials to his home ahead of time so we didn’t have to travel with everything ourselves—such a thoughtful, above-and-beyond gesture that made things so much easier for us. His communication was unmatched. No matter when we reached out, we could always count on hearing back within the hour—either with a detailed response or a quick acknowledgment that he had received our message and was working on it. That level of reliability brought so much peace of mind throughout the entire process.

What truly sets Mark apart is how thoughtful and caring he is. He helped us navigate family dynamics with so much grace, always prioritizing what mattered most to us while also guiding us toward meaningful compromises. He was never pushy, but always took the time to explain his recommendations so we felt confident in every decision. And no matter how stressful things got, he remained cheerful, calm, and encouraging (his signature exclamation marks always made our day!). Planning a large, multi-event Indian wedding—many events of which were outdoors—came with countless moving parts, but Mark and his team handled everything seamlessly. Even though he didn’t initially specialize in South Indian weddings, he approached every detail with curiosity and enthusiasm, asking thoughtful questions we hadn’t even considered and ensuring every element was executed beautifully.

Emilie was also incredible to work with. She helped design our website and played a huge role in organizing and executing all our signage, making sure every detail felt cohesive, polished, and aligned with our vision.

There are so many small but impactful things that Elegant Savannah Weddings took off our plate—things we didn’t even realize would matter so much until we experienced their level of care and attention. They made the entire process feel smooth, supported, and genuinely enjoyable. Beyond their professionalism, they are simply wonderful people—kind, honest, and a true joy to work with. Mark and Meg are absolute gems. They made everything so easy. They were unbelievably helpful in the planning process and helped me stay on schedule with booking vendors. When you find your planner from the recommendation of a wedding coordinator for 4 historic Savannah wedding venues and they tell you that their most favorite wedding planner to work with is Mark Royston of Elegant Savannah Weddings - you’re pretty sure you can’t go wrong. Mark and his team were so accessible, highly professional, reasonably priced and willing to personalize every detail for our 4 events: a bridesmaids royal tea and welcome party at the Historic Harper Fowlkes House, rehearsal dinner at the Chatham Club and an over the top enchanted winter forest waterfront ceremony and reception at the Savannah Yacht Club.

There were a lot of moving parts from wedding trolleys to cold weather contingency plans with tent and heaters on standby, chair and linen rentals, etc. Mark has amazing detail timeline planning skills and contacts with all of the local purveyors and hotels - AND he is often able obtain discounted rates! In speaking with various managers of clubs and historic venues, even THEY raved about Mark and ESW.

I made a great choice and had an exceptional experience as all four of my events exceeded my expectations and flowed so seamlessly! We were over the moon and so grateful to Mark and his team.

We spoke with about five different wedding planners when we first started planning our wedding, all from venue recommendations and Google searches. Elegant Savannah Weddings was our very first call, and we immediately loved how honest, caring, and genuinely helpful Mark was, regardless of whether we chose to work with them or not.

When it came to the wedding weekend itself, they were truly unbelievable. We didn’t have to do anything, we just showed up, which is exactly what I wanted. Mark helped us with our welcome party and even picked up all of our décor just a few hours before the event. By the time we arrived at the rehearsal dinner, everything was already set up beautifully.

The same thing happened on the wedding day. Meg and Trisha came by our room early to pick up keys and any additional décor, and from that moment on, they handled everything. I didn’t have to set anything up, talk to vendors, or worry about logistics, everything ran seamlessly. They made sure everyone was where they needed to be, that we always had a drink in hand, and they even saved the day when I spilled an espresso martini on my lace dress about five minutes into cocktail hour. I was panicking, but they stayed completely calm, reassured me, and somehow got it out entirely, you would never have known it happened.

No one tells you how much time you’ll spend with your wedding planners leading up to your wedding, and honestly, I miss them now that it’s over! If you’re looking for a wedding planner, I cannot recommend Elegant Savannah Weddings enough. They are truly the best of the best, and I only wish we had another reason to work with them again.

Elegant Savannah Weddings was truly a godsend for our wedding. As a native Savannahian who now lives out of state, I knew I needed someone that I could fully rely on from afar during the planning process. Mark and his team were just that. They guided us through the planning process with honest feedback, reassurance, and thorough communication. They were available to me with my questions and concerns at the drop of a hat. I knew I could email and/or text with an immediate response. Traveling from out of state for vendor visits, tastings, etc., Mark always made himself available to be a part of those meetings with us which we did not take for granted. The week leading up to our wedding, the team helped gather all "personal" items and offered to take things off of our hands that made it easier for us getting to our venue on wedding day. The same went for breakdown after the wedding.
