Church & Temple Wedding Venues in Los Angeles

Our friend iniitially recommended The Santa Anita Church as my (now) wife and I were in search for the perfect wedding ceremony venue. We visited the place and fell in-love with it the first time! Santa Anita Church is the perfect size for my 150-guest ceremony-- not to mention the beautiful glass pane that changes color depending on the weather condition right behind the altar. In addition to that, they have a live pianist/organist that is inclusive in the booking with them. Lastly, they have a friendly and adaptable staff to make sure that your wedding is what you envisioned it to be-- from an accommondating staff to an entertaining pastor. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony! Amalia was my wedding coordinator at the church. She is super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. I was non-stop bothersome throughout the process and she was patient with us all-throughout to make sure that every single detail/preparation for the wedding was entertained. My overall experience with Santa Anita Church was amazing. If I would travel back in time to choose a place to redo our ceremony, I will choose this all over again. 100% would recommend this to future couples!

Our wedding experience at this church was truly beautiful. They helped us every step of the way and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Everyone was so sweet, kind, and welcoming. We are very grateful for the support and love we received.

2 words, RENEICE EDWARDS! She made everything happen! From the time my fiancé & I had met her back in 2020 to a couple weeks ago when we had our big day. She made the amount of stress we were under go away when it came to our ceremony. We had 16 bridesmaids, 16 groomsmen, 2 flower girls, 2 train holders & 1 ring bearer. From the intimate sanctuary for the ceremony to the nice outdoor courtyard for the reception to the hall with plenty of room for dancing, a stage for a DJ/band & a kitchen area, this venue has much to offer & is ideal for a small to mid-size wedding. It's especially great if you are on a budget or want to have a mostly DIY wedding as you aren't restricted to the venue's vendor list. This church is inclusive and welcomes all regardless of race/color/gender identity/sexuality, etc.

This church is located at 402 E. El Segundo Blvd. and seats a little over 700 people. Large choir stand can seat up 125. Balcony seats a little over 200. Pulpit seats up to 10. Four entrance rows. The colors inside are royal blue and white, but can be decorated quite lavishly. There are traditional church pews but chairs are also available. Ladies Lounge and plenty of restrooms. There is a traditional organ, amp for a keyboard or bass, and 6 piece Yamaha drum set. Also has 5 parking lots.

Sephardic Temple was the perfect place to have my wedding. In addition to having a beautiful garden area in the back, they have a huge hall to have a reception in as well. We had the entire wedding in one place which was really nice. We had the chuppah in the garden which was gorgeous. The reception was in the hall. We had the room draped which really transformed the room. Everything went exactly as planned. Bunny, the onsite coordinator, is amazing. She kept the party running on time. In addition, she works for the caterer - Pat's - the best kosher caterer in Los Angeles. She helped us pick out an amazing venue. Everything was exactly as we picked. Could not have asked for a better coordinator. Or venue. Or caterer! Perfect!

Rates are slightly cheaper if you are a member of the parish or attending the high school. The music coordinator was great to work with, he was the organist for the LA Cathedral, and has a great network of musicians outside of the church. Part of your fees include a coordinator at the church and flowers that you are required to use through their florist. It's inexpensive and the arrangement is huge.

My Husband and I booked this venue 5 months before our wedding. We reached out to the venue and Julieth was amazing. She had us tour the venue and we loved it immediately. Julieth was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. We absolutely loved this venue and would recommend it to all our friends and family.
