Rates are slightly cheaper if you are a member of the parish or attending the high school. The music coordinator was great to work with, he was the organist for the LA Cathedral, and has a great network of musicians outside of the church. Part of your fees include a coordinator at the church and flowers that you are required to use through their florist. It's inexpensive and the arrangement is huge.

a traditional catholic wedding must always be planned six months in advance. during that time you have to sign up and take wedding classes. the church is very flexible in this manner. you can take the class at any church at any time, but it must be six months before the wedding date!!! as soon as i was planning my wedding for a year in advance i set up an appointment to see the church wedding planner. she gave me the paper work needed to find a wedding class and what documents were needed to prove my husband and i were still unmarried/single and eligible for marriage in a catholic church. i was informed in advance that i had to give a NEW copy of my baptismal record...which is in another country. i had to find my original baptismal record, get the address of the parish and then find their location on the internet. and YES the catholic church has an international directory for that. i couldn't believe it. after all was said and done the ceremony was beautiful.
