Linda, Your food was just simply outstanding!!! We gave a theme of Tuscan Wedding and this was perfect for your style of food, everything organic, everything in season and incredibly fresh. The guests were boasting about the food for the remainder of the week as we ate through the left overs, nothing to waste!! For those reading this review, Linda manages her kitchen to produce the best food I have tasted in my life and believe me I have visited many a 3 star Michelin restaurant and top rated food establishments the world has to offer. Don't go in the kitchen when Linda and her staff are at work, watch from afar and delight in the fact that there is wonderful food to come.

We hired Girl & the Fig to cater our wedding and we absolutely loved working with them. Every single bite at our wedding was delicious — and our guests are still talking about the food. The appetizers were a huge hit, especially the short rib potato rösti and the fried chicken. For the main course, we served family-style halibut and flat iron steak, and both were outstanding. The halibut was my personal favorite — perfectly cooked — and the sunchoke and mushroom ragù that came with it was out of this world. Dessert was also a highlight. The lemon tart seemed to be the crowd favorite, but honestly, we loved them all. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The team kept the evening flowing smoothly and helped us stay on schedule so we could get to the dance floor right on time. The bar staff was fantastic as well — friendly, efficient, and on top of everything. From our initial tasting all the way through the big day, Girl & the Fig was a dream to work with. They were responsive, accommodating, and incredibly professional. One HUGE perk was their partnership with Encore for rentals — it made planning so much easier and kept everything well-coordinated. We can’t say enough good things about this team. Phenomenal food, seamless service, and truly wonderful people. Highly recommend.

The food here is wonderful. We did a tasting for our day after wedding brunch and Paula Vega treated me and my husband like royalty. We sampled so many delicious goodies and she helped formulate a menu. She even offered suggestions and said we could have the alley behind the cafe for our party. We didn't go with this place though for the only a few reasons * Cafe didn't offer enough space inside for a party of 5 or more since it's very popular and crowded (we had 15) * Alley had a lot of flies and noise from people setting up their restaurants and stores * There was no space to host our guests and the park nearby doesn't accommodate large group seating (also, no rain backup) However, should I want a pastry fix or a breakfast fix I would not hesitate to come here again. Or, if I had a conference room, or a house nearby, I would gladly have used them.

I had two goals for my wedding. I wanted great food and I wanted great views. I got one of the two—the second was marred by an unseasonal atmospheric river. But that didn’t stop the team at Ramekins on delivering the most amazing service and most exquisite food. The Ramekins team worked their BUTTS off in the freezing rain and none of them didn’t do it without a smile on their face. And that was just the day-of team. Prior to the wedding I received amazing service from Diane and Lindsey on making sure that the menu was just right and that nothing went missing. They even helped me get a tie-dye wedding cake as a surprise to my husband! So much care and detail work was involved in pulling this off and it’s clear that Ramekins is superb at delivering not only insane food, but also superb at delivering exceptional service. I had been recommended to them by a friend who also dabbles in wedding planning and so I decided to book a tasting last year. Just choosing what to taste from their array of choices was daunting, but we settled on some real winners and crafted a family-style menu that was out of this world. The passed apps were divine. They were hot and the perfect size and fab. The one thing is that they weren’t passing out napkins, so guests didn’t have anything to wipe their hands with. For the dinner, we started with an endive, blue cheese souffle, and pickled strawberry plated salad. It. Was. Insane. My brothers were literally oohing and ahhing at how good it was. Next up was the main course. We chose short ribs, king salmon, asparagus, and truffled oricchette pasta. People were FIGHTING over the short ribs and the pasta. It was awesome. Hands down the best short ribs I’ve ever had in my entire life. If you want the best service, food, and expertise for your wedding I highly recommend hiring Ramekins.
