We recently had the most magical wedding at The Genevieve in Santa Ynez, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew this was where we wanted to celebrate our special day. Our ceremony took place in the enchanting garden, surrounded by lush greenery and the sweet scent of flowers. The setting was absolutely idyllic, and our guests were in awe of the beauty that surrounded us. Pam Roberts was an absolute dream to work with. Her kindness and warmth made the entire planning process seamless, and her flexibility ensured that every detail was perfect from beginning to end. Pam's genuine soul truly shines through, and we couldn't imagine anyone better to oversee our dream venue. Following the ceremony, we enjoyed a delightful happy hour on the Lawn, where our guests mingled and enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres. The atmosphere was lively and joyful, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. For dinner, we moved to the private and intimate Coach Room, where the ambiance was cozy and romantic. The venue's character added a unique touch to our celebration, making it truly unforgettable. And let's talk about the food - it was absolutely divine! Nothing like any wedding meal we've had before. The culinary team at The Genevieve surpassed expectations. Not only is The Genevieve a fabulous and unique venue, but the entire experience was elevated by the exceptional service and attention to detail provided by the staff. From the premium beverage service to the spacious lawn with firepits, every aspect of our wedding was flawlessly executed. We also opted for a wedding experience, turning The Genevieve into our own private paradise for the weekend. The luxurious accommodations and amenities provided the perfect backdrop for pre-wedding pampering and post-reception relaxation. Overall, our wedding at The Genevieve exceeded all of our expectations. If you're looking for a wedding location on the Central Coast that combines luxury, sophistication, and garden glam, look no further than The Genevieve. We can't recommend it highly enough!

The Santa Ynez Valley grew to be a very special place to my now-wife and I over the course of our relationship. It's the area where we knew we wanted to get married. We visited several of our favorite vineyards in the area as well as some of the most picturesque we never really frequented. In each case, there was a flaw: needlessly expensive...great scenery but lackluster wine... difficulty picturing how your wedding would flow and where it would take take place...AND THEN we found Gainey, which presented none of those problems. It was the perfect place for us. Beautiful, reasonably priced, and a perfect foundation on which to build our kind of wedding. The flow is kind of a given: Ceremony on the hill beneath the tree with vistas on all sides --> cocktails in the barrel room giving out of town guests a fun taste of wine country --> and lastly reception under the stars in their courtyard. And because there was such a clear path (and an amazing staff to walk us down it), my wife and I could concentrate on the details that would make the wedding our own. The people who work at Gainey, Sunny in particular, aren't landlords, they're collaborators and friends. They are with you every step of the way. Sunny set us up with our venue, yes, but also our wine pairings, our wedding planner, our caterer, and more. We could not have asked for a better ally or experience setting up the best day of our lives. It is so cool for us to be able to say that the best wedding we've ever been to is our own. My wife and I will forever love Gainey.

Honestly, I could go on and on about how much we love Roblar Winery and especially the people that take this magical place to the next level. I recommend Roblar Winery to everyone but especially anyone who is looking for a romantic, intimate full-service wedding venue. I am so compelled to leave this review because honestly, it’s the least I can do to show my appreciation for the lasting memories they helped make for us. People (staff): You can absolutely tell that everyone who works at Roblar LOVES Roblar. The level of care and customer service is out of this world. From day one, we felt at home. Everyone welcomes you with a warm smile and remembers your name! The wait staff during the wedding were so attentive to not only the wedding party but our guests as well. After the wedding, we were wowed by the impression that Roblar left on our guests. Huge shout out to Shay and his wife who are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet.
