Brass Bear Brewing offers two charming locations ideal for hosting weddings and other special events in Santa Barbara, CA. This family-friendly event space is all about great drinks, delicious food, and good vibes.
Facilities and Capacity
Owners Lindsay and Seth Anderson opened Brass Bear Brewing in 2016 with the aim of bringing quality craft brews, locally sourced food, and more to the community. They live by the mantra of facing their fears to keep on trekking—this fun, adventurous spirit is strongly felt in their highly customizable private events. No event is too big, or too small!
Whether you prefer mountain views, or a two-block walk to the Pacific Ocean, you can't go wrong with either location. The Funk Zone location, situated in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, accommodates up to 200 guests in the beer garden. The Uptown location offers two private dining rooms and a tap room in addition to the terrace, with private buyouts available for 800+ guests. You and your guests will enjoy the laid-back open-air patio event spaces, dining and mingling under twinkling string lights while taking in the surrounding views and fresh California air.

Whether you want high-quality charcuterie boards made with local ingredients, passed appetizers, or tri-tip skewers, there’s something for everyone on your guest list. If our venues may not be the right fit for your occasion, Brass Bear also offers full-service catering at the venue of your choice. We'll provide our signature food and drinks along with our friendly Brass Bear staff to curate a memorable event as unique as you!

The Perfect Wedding Venue!
The day of the wedding, we had a handful of relatives show up early to set up for the event and we were told that the staff was quick to jump in and assist with anything that they could help with. The entire staff really went the extra mile for everything and we could not be more grateful for this because we really felt taken care of. The food was absolutely divine (we are still thinking about the jumbo shrimp and charcuterie board!) and the cocktails were delicious. Another shout out to the bartender for making one of the most delicious Palomas that I've had!
Brass Bear Brewing is the perfect venue for any couple wanting to celebrate their love in an intimate setting with the utmost quality of service. They really work with you to address your needs with prices that you can't beat in Santa Barbara. I will definitely be celebrating another event here in the future!!

Beautiful evening with AMAZING food & service!
The ambiance was better than I could have hoped for. The staff set up exactly as we asked. The lighting was perfect and the sunset over the mountains made for a romantic and fun evening.
The food was FABULOUS! We served heavy apps and they were all a big hit! I received SO many complements that evening on the food. There was not one item served that lacked flavor. Very well done!! My compliments to the chef!
We could not have ordered up a more perfect evening and I am so happy to recommend The Brass Bear to anyone who wants a beautiful celebration on any kind!
