We were absolutely thrilled with gourmet food and superb service from Zesty Gourmet, who were the in-house caterer for our fall wedding at The Manor at Airmont. Sometimes wedding food is unmemorable, but that is definitely not this case with Zesty Gourmet! To this day, we have guests compliment the wonderful dinner. The salmon dinner was excellent, our personal favorite! The flavor combinations are creative and delicious and not your typical “wedding food”. Also, the portions are very generous, so your guest will not go hungry. We had the added bonus of having our wedding at The Manor at Airmont, so we were able to see the chef grilling outdoors on-site while we were getting ready for our big day. From the drinks, appetizers and charcuterie board, to dinner, to late night bites, everything was truly gourmet. John Homan and Leanne Homan are wonderful people who have a passion for what they do. Thank you for making our wedding food memorable!

We can’t say enough great things about Zesty Gourmet. Firstly, we did not hire a wedding coordinator, and Leanne was the most helpful resource we had! She helped walk us through so many parts of the day and made sure we had everything we needed – like glassware, tables, and day-of set-up. Due to weather, we ended up switching cocktail hour and the ceremony 30 minutes before start time, and chef John was up to the challenge! Guests loved all of our hors d’eouvres and the main courses! Many said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We also hired the Zesty bartenders to serve drinks, and they made great decisions with some of our rowdy guests.

Zesty Gourmet was exceptional. We had a diverse menu and a lot of special requests which were met with extraordinary care. Their food is wonderful. Cannot recommend them enough!

Zesty Gourmet is next-level service. We used them for our wedding and were truly blown away by the quality of food, service, professionalism, family feel, creativity, and attention to detail. I'm a vegan and my husband is not but this was absolutely no big deal for them. They accommodated every dietary restriction with ease. All of the vegan options were absolutely amazing and equally as delicious as all of the non-vegan food. The staff is beyond kind and made our guests feel so at home at our wedding through the dining experience. They brought our family-style Italian-inspired dining dreams to life in ways we didn't think were possible. I would HIGHLY recommend using them for your next event!!

First off, my family and I are a NIGHTMARE when it comes to food restrictions. We have felt many times that we've been too difficult to accommodate throughout the years; however, that was NOT our experience with Zesty Gourmet whatsoever. They didn't bat an eye at our tricky food allergies, but instead made us feel assured and confident that we'd be taken care of.

Not only was the food amazing, but the presentation and service were as well. We've had multiple tastings with Zesty after planning two different family weddings with them and cannot recommend them enough. All of our friends and family have raved over their love of the food at both weddings, too.

I had such an amazing experience with Zesty Gourmet! I planned a small wedding within a few months and Leanne was very helpful and great to work with. We got a tasting experience when we booked and it was wonderful, everything was delicious. Our dinner on our wedding day was also delicious, all my guests made good comments. They were also kind enough to arrange special meals for kids and a vegetarian guest. The staff was so kind and helpful, great attitudes, even helped me put up decor in high places. I would recommend their services for any event, and I’d happily book them for future events I plan!

We used Zesty Gourmet as our wedding caterer at The Manor at Airmont. This was the preferred caterer for the wedding venue, and we signed the contract immediately after the tasting session (literally check in hand and ready for a wet signature so we wouldn't lose them). In fact, it was so good we added on a rehearsal dinner just so we could have the full experience. We loved it so much we've been to a few pop up events just to eat their food again.

My vignette on how I wanted steak at my dream wedding: Initially, I was worried about finding a good caterer. I personally LOVE steak and wanted to eat it at my dream wedding. I usually avoid eating steak or meat at restaurants because I've had too many bad experiences. However, the chef here will deliver the most amazing food, and it is evident in their cooking.

Even if you aren't into steak, everything else on their menu is just as amazing. Prior to finding this caterer, my husband and I had talked to a few other caterers companies that were boring in comparison. With Zesty Gourmet, my husband and I had the hardest time narrowing down our options because everything was so amazing. Hence, we added the rehearsal dinner, late-night after wedding bites, and attended other pop-up events. Highly recommend adding late-night bites because people always get hungry after dancing all night long.

My husband and I loved that we were able to find a caterer who could help blend our families through food. I'm Korean and my husband's family is primarily Italian. Zesty Gourmet was able to deliver food to satisfy both sides of the family.

Lastly, my husband and I loved that we were able to support a local and family-owned business.

It was great to have so many options to chose from and the venue offered a free tasting. Unique to offer asian options which were fabulous.

I can't say enough good things about Zesty Gourmet! Leanne and her team are very professional and could not be nicer. They were able to make wonderful meals even with the many restrictions our venue had. The huge charcuterie board was a big talking point at our wedding and how everything they presented was gorgeous!! Leanne worked with us to find a time we could come in for the tasting since we live across the country. Let me just say, that was our favorite part of wedding planning! Everything they make is mouth watering, so it was hard to choose our wedding day menu (a GREAT problem to have!). The bartenders and waiters provided top notch service and they moved very quickly to serve all of our guests. I am so impressed with their team and will be recommending them to everyone! *note: the only picture of the food our photographers took was of the salad, all other pictures are from the tasting*

I know the title is a bit snarky but food was probably our #1 priority when planning the wedding and WOW did Zesty Gourmet deliver. We had concerns about both quality and quantity of food from prior weddings we've attended and we left every interaction with Zesty Gourmet almost too full of absolutely delicious food (and drinks). They let us try the food before contracting them which was huge for us, and then we also had a full Chef's Tasting to make our menu selections leading up to the wedding. We have had multiple friends and family members tell us we had the best food of any wedding they've been to. Zesty handled all food, staff, and alcohol for us and the drinks were also incredible. We had a full open bar plus two signature cocktails that were very fun (and 'gramable). We also didn't want to do a cake so they did an incredible dessert bar for us with mini pecan pies, cookies, brownies, and apple cobbler with ice cream. Our wedding was at the Manor at Airmont where they are based, and Natallia on that team made a hanging display for the dessert which was so fun. They also can do catering at other locations, not just the Manor. Probably one of my biggest regrets of the wedding is that my dress was so well tailored that after I ate all the incredible appetizers at cocktail hour and our salad course, I was too full to eat all of my dinner but the great team boxed it up for me to eat at the end of the night! They also did late night bites for us which were such a hit and a way better use of wedding budget than favors. The team boxed them up for our guests at the end of the night to take on the shuttle with them back to the hotel too.
We had several guests with dietary restrictions (including a cousin who didn't tell me she was vegetarian until at the welcome event the day before) and they were extremely accommodating of all, which included vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free, no pork, and nut allergies. They were also able to add extra vegan/ vegetarian entrees the day of despite the late notice.
As part of our package we also contracted the guest rooms at the Manor at Airmont which included brunch the next morning for the immediate family, which was also delicious - scones, breads, muffins, egg dishes, all made in house and with multiple vegan and gluten free options!

Here is everything we were able to enjoy from them: day-of food while getting ready (fruits/ pastries, coffee and tea, lunch of sandwiches and charcuterie, mimosas), full wedding food and drinks (charcuterie board, bruschetta's, and passed appetizers during cocktail hour; salad course, appetizer, and steak for dinner; dessert bar; late night bites which was mini pizzas, french fries, and something else I'm forgetting), full open bar (including signature cocktails and wine served with dinner), and morning after brunch.
