Zaca Mesa Winery is a stunning wine-country wedding venue in Los Olivos, California. The Winery was established in 1973 – just the third winery established in the region - and built into a top-class winery, producing some of the highest-quality wines in Santa Barbara County. The estate vineyard is also SIP (Sustainability in Practice) Certified, a recognition of the winery’s decades-long commitment to respectful and holistic environmental practices. Couples can enjoy the luxuriously rustic backdrop of a historic working winery for their wedding ceremony or reception, complete with handsome vineyards framed by stunning mountain views!

Zaca Mesa Winery is a large estate that can hold up to 200 guests. With several indoor and outdoor celebration areas, this California property offers endless possibilities. For vow exchanges beneath the California sunshine, you and your love can say "I do" at the Grenache Blanc Vineyard Lawn. This airy space is graced with a century-old oak tree and majestic vistas of the San Rafael mountains. For an indoor wedding extravaganza, you and your guests can retreat to the property's modern View Room. Here, everyone can enjoy a wonderful meal and clink wine glasses next to 9ft-tall glass sliding doors and windows, which offer panoramic views of the Zaca Mesa estate. Zaca Mesa Winery also offers a variety of idyllic backdrops for memorable wedding photos. The Barrel Room is perfect for striking, directed shots, while a romantic stroll through the vineyard makes for heartfelt, candid images.

Their wedding packages are crafted to fit your guest count and preference for indoor and/or outdoor receptions. The property includes a beautiful green lawn with a built-in pergola upon which couples are encouraged to decorate as they wish to match their event aesthetic. The indoor Lounge is connected to the outdoor Terrace and indoor View Room and is the perfect space to stage getting-ready photos or for use as a lounge for the wedding parties. It includes a beautiful white marble bar ideal for beverage service, or even late-night snacks! The estate is also pet-friendly, allowing your furry friends to join in on your wedding festivities. Your guests will also appreciate enjoying the winery’s estate wines during your event as they meander among the very vines that grew the grapes in their glass.

When it came to finding a venue, my husband and I knew we wanted an outdoor venue. We packed 6 venue tours in a weekend, and Zaca Mesa Winery was our first stop. As we walked the grounds and made our way down to the lawn and oak tree, I turned to my then-fiance and said, "This is it; we don't need to look anywhere else." The lawn and oak tree package offers stunning mountain views and an intimate ceremony and reception feel.
After touring the remaining venues, we went home and agreed that Zaca Mesa Winery was our venue. The coordinators at Zaca Mesa Winery were fantastic, easily reachable, and prompt with their responses. We appreciated Tara's guidance and assistance through the planning process, including wine suggestions, ceremony and reception layout, and more. Day of, Tara went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect - even helping my mom and maid of honor bustle my train.
We can't thank Tara and the Team at Zaca Mesa Winery enough for making our wedding a day we will never forget.-

Beautiful setting for our wedding.
My husband and I got married here on October 1st and absolutely loved it. We have gotten so many compliments from guests that it was a great venue. From ceremony to reception, the different locations made it feel like multiple different places in one. We are so happy we had our wedding here!-

Looking for the perfect place to host your petite wedding? Zaca Mesa Winery & Vineyards offers serene and rustic elegance for any size event. Invite your closest friends and family members to witness your wedding ceremony under our century-old Oak Tree or at our Grenache Blanc vineyard’s beautiful pergola. After the nuptuals, dance the night away at either our indoor or outdoor locations, both surrounded by breath-taking views!

Tara joined the Zaca Mesa team in the summer of 2021. She was born in Santa Barbara and moved to the Santa Ynez Valley when she was just two years old, calling the Valley home ever since. She loves working with couples and helping to bring their dream weddings to life at our historic estate winery!When she isn't at the winery, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking, hiking, and going to the beach.
