Jena made our wedding weekend one we will never forget. Greengate was the most accommodating venue for our family and wedding party. To have everyone stay on the property was all we ever wanted but the venue gave us so much more than that. The quality of the houses were top notch. We will be back through VRBO. Getting married at GGRV is an absolute dream. It goes without saying that the venue is stunning and the care and love the owners put into the property is second to none. Beyond that, the team at GGRV is above and beyond anything we could have imagined. They are kind, patient, responsive, accommodating, helpful - everything you could ever want and then some! We rented out the venue for a full weekend and hosted both our welcome dinner and Sunday brunch in addition to the wedding festivities and it really felt like we were getting married in our home. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how picture perfect the venue was. It's honestly difficult to put into words how amazing this venue is - check it out for yourself and you will not be disappointed! :)

Greengate is probably the most beautiful venue I've ever come across and they made our wedding an absolute dream. The team onsite is so communicative and helpful, they run the venue so well. I can't recommend them enough.

We couldn't have been happier with Greengate Ranch as our wedding venue!! So many great things to say about them!

1. Perfect place to host a wedding weekend, not just a wedding day! We live in LA, but wanted a convenient central location for all our family and friends to gather for our wedding. Greengate was perfect. We had the ranch Thurs-Sun. All of our immediate family was able to stay with us on the Ranch for the whole weekend. And we chose to host a welcome reception for all our wedding guests there at the main ranch house the day before the wedding, so that we could have extra time with everyone who traveled in. The ranch house couldn't have been better for that purpose; it's built for entertaining large groups.

2. They have back up options in case of rain! We had initially planned on having our ceremony by the pond, but it ended up raining on our wedding day. So we had our ceremony in the stables, instead. It was actually perfect! Very intimate and unique.

3. The staff are easy to work with, and let you make your wedding unique. We'd toured so many venues that had all sorts of rules and extra fees. Greengate let us do everything we wanted! There was no extra fee for starting the ceremony earlier in the day. Our dogs were able to be with us the whole weekend. We were able to throw confetti at our wedding ceremony (as long as it was biodegradable). We were allowed to use a trackless train on the property to get guests from the parking area to the ceremony site and back to the reception. And they were cool with us using the lawn for a carnival cocktail hour. The only rule was no amplified music after 10, so everyone has to be out of the barn by then - but they suggest moving the party to the main ranch house as a substitute.

4. Greengate is absolutely breathtaking. The pond, the vineyards, the barn, the houses... everything is gorgeous and makes for great photos!

Greengate was the wedding venue of my dreams!! It was truly the most perfect weekend I could have ever imagined. Throughout the entire process, Jena was so helpful, organized, responsive and on top of it! It was honestly such a smooth process, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how easy the weekend was. The property itself is so stunning - almost every guest told us it was the most beautiful property and wedding they had ever been to. My whole family stayed on property all weekend and it was so fun! All the houses, rooms and amenities are so well done and well kept. The landscaping is unreal, the views are amazing, and it's so nice that you get to walk around the whole property and see the animals while you stay there. There are so many places to host events, so we did our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and brunch all at different areas of the venue - and each location was stunning! I cannot recommend Greengate enough! We will definitely be coming back and doing future events here and I would 11/10 recommend having your wedding here!! It was the absolute best

Greengate Ranch made my wedding weekend the best weekend of my life with the most amazing memories. My husband and I knew we wanted to have a wedding where family flying in from all over would be able to spend time with each other and us so staying on the property for the weekend was a must. Greengate fit just that idea and more. We rented the property for the weekend last July and hosted our rehearsal dinner in the back of the ranch house and it couldn't have been any more beautiful or any more perfect of a spot to host a dinner. Our wedding day was so perfect with a beautiful setup under a walnut tree and a gorgeous reception in the barn but the vineyards and the pond provided such beautiful backdrops! We had the most spectacular sunset in our day, too, and having the ability to travel up to the top for pictures was so perfect. The only downfall is that the barn has to close at 10!! So we moved the reception up to the ranch house!!!

A huge plus is that greengate includes so many things from tables and chairs to heaters to ample power to clean, non portable bathrooms. The staff were so respectful of us staying on the property, out of our way but accessible and accommodating when needed! They were there to make our lives easier and stress free. I would highly recommend greengate to any bride!!

Greengate is incredible! We got married there about a month and a half ago and are so thankful we found it and were able to book it in time! We got engaged last Thanksgiving and a week later headed down to SLO to check out various venues. We ended up at Greengate at the end of the day as a last stop, and the second we got to the top of the driveway, we already knew. In fact, the moment we got into the car after the tour, I got choked up just envisioning all our close friends and family there with us on the property, particularly the fact that so many could stay with us for the entire weekend. It's an incredibly gorgeous, special space. Our entire wedding party and my family stayed on the property which is what made it so perfect. The houses are GORGEOUS, top notch, first class, yet comfortable and totally "home-y" and cozy. We had a dinner on the back patio of the main ranch house Thursday night for our wedding party and family, and then had friends and family in and out the rest of the weekend. And the actual wedding ceremony under the walnut tree with the reception in the barn after was AMAZING. We honestly didn't even have to do much in the way of decor because it's so beautiful as is. We feel so incredibly lucky that we were able to book Greengate in time, it truly made the day as special as it was. Thank you, Greengate and Corinne, for providing such an amazing property for our wedding!!

For any newly engaged couple finding the right venue can be dreadful, yet not with Greengate Ranch & Vineyard! Once you walk onto their property it feels like home. My husband and I fell in love with the restored barn and all the property had to offer. We were looking for a little retreat away from all the hustle and bustle a wedding bring and this GEM was the diamond in the ruff.

All the staff were awesome to work with and truly went above and beyond to make your day special. The Estate Ranch House was truly like walking into an upscale magazine featured home! The decor was on point and all my guest's completely loved the fact we could all stay in one location to the most out of this occasion! You can not go wrong with this location it has so much to offer and is perfectly located just outside of San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach.

My husband and I were looking for the perfect location to get married: he wanted a barn, I wanted a vineyard, we wanted a wedding weekend with a place for our bridal party and their significant others to stay. We found Greengate Ranch & Vineyard very serendipitously and it was basically fate that GGRV had our exact date open ONLY in the month of May. After viewing the grounds and all of the available locations, we were sold. Greengate is downright gorgeous. We chose the barn to have our ceremony in and had the cocktail hour outside of the barn, and we chose the stables to have our reception in. Jena was very professional and made our wedding weekend very comfortable. She knows exactly what she's doing with the property. The housing accommodations are designed to perfection and we couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect location for our wedding.

Greengate was an amazing place for our wedding weekend! We got married in 2023 and I fell in love with the venue after first touring it. The property is stunning! Jena and her team were wonderful and were so helpful.

We held our rehearsal, ceremony, reception, after party, and send off brunch at the property. Even though everything was on site, each location was unique. We did a the rehearsal and after party at the ranch house, held the ceremony on the pond, and did dinner and dancing at the barn! The girls got ready in the bridal suite, which was so fun. Staying on the property with our family and friends was really special, and made the whole weekend easy!

This is truly one of the nicest venues on the central coast! If you are looking for a classic California vineyard vibe, this is your spot.
