My husband and I were looking for the perfect location to get married: he wanted a barn, I wanted a vineyard, we wanted a wedding weekend with a place for our bridal party and their significant others to stay. We found Greengate Ranch & Vineyard very serendipitously and it was basically fate that GGRV had our exact date open ONLY in the month of May. After viewing the grounds and all of the available locations, we were sold. Greengate is downright gorgeous. We chose the barn to have our ceremony in and had the cocktail hour outside of the barn, and we chose the stables to have our reception in. Jena was very professional and made our wedding weekend very comfortable. She knows exactly what she's doing with the property. The housing accommodations are designed to perfection and we couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect location for our wedding. -

Greengate is probably the most beautiful venue I've ever come across and they made our wedding an absolute dream. The team onsite is so communicative and helpful, they run the venue so well. I can't recommend them enough. -

Mona Sent on 08/22/2018The best decision we made for our entire wedding process was picking Greengate Ranch as our venue. It is one of the most well run establishments I have ever come across and is absolutely stunning. My husband and I went to Cal Poly and wanted to get married back where we met years (many many many years) ago. Start to finish, GGRV was easy to work with and incredibly communicative. Jena runs an amazing operation and has put together an absolutely amazing vendor list to work with. We ended up booking the venue from Thursday to Sunday and then just the Bridle Suite until Monday. We had our entire bridal party stay onsite across the 4 homes. The homes have a 5 star resort feeling (unbelievable interior design followed by views in every direction). Jena and team were very flexible and allowed my husband and I to store and drop of wine and beer on Wednesday evening so that it wouldn't get spoiled in the hot sun while we spent a night in Shell Beach. They made the check in and check out process extremely easy. For 35K for the entire Thurs-Mon experience, it was money well worth it and well spent. We used the lawn of the ranch house for Friday morning yoga to kick off the festivities. Our rehearsal dinner was a 50 person dinner at one long table down the stunning horse stables. We had our ceremony waterfront down by the pond. Our wedding reception, party, and cocktail hour was by the walnut tree, and barn area (perfect for our 230 person guest list). We hosted an afterparty up at the ranch house service late night quesadillas and tacos (thank you Field to Table) and keeping the dance party going, and Lastly-- we spent our entire sunday (and friday for that matter) laying out at the amazing pool arena, BBQ'ing, playing bocce, and enjoying the fire pits. Our family and friends who flew in from all over the country were amazed by Greengate, the beauty, and the magic that it creates. User1999914 Sent on 01/07/2015For any newly engaged couple finding the right venue can be dreadful, yet not with Greengate Ranch & Vineyard! Once you walk onto their property it feels like home. My husband and I fell in love with the restored barn and all the property had to offer. We were looking for a little retreat away from all the hustle and bustle a wedding bring and this GEM was the diamond in the ruff.
All the staff were awesome to work with and truly went above and beyond to make your day special. The Estate Ranch House was truly like walking into an upscale magazine featured home! The decor was on point and all my guest's completely loved the fact we could all stay in one location to the most out of this occasion! You can not go wrong with this location it has so much to offer and is perfectly located just outside of San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach.Greengate Ranch & Vineyard's reply:

User3036169 Sent on 04/21/2017I knew, as soon as I stepped foot onto Greengate's property, that I had found the perfect place for our dream wedding. And, boy, do I love being right! :)
The property is stunning. Our wedding was at the beginning of November, and the foliage on the trees and in the vineyards were beautifully golden, perfect for our autumn wedding. The lawns were also gorgeous and green (my favorite color). I was a nervous bride, and I woke up every morning around 5am. But I would sit outside in the crisp morning air, and calm myself by gazing at the beautiful rolling vineyards and listen to the lovely breeze blowing through the branches of the pepper trees.
The bridal party and some of our closest friends and family stayed on the property, and all of them marveled at how it was like staying at a luxury resort! All of the houses were so comfortable, and provided such a great space for our welcome party and all the last-minute wedding prep. I and the bridesmaids had our hair and makeup done in the Yosemite Room in the Ranch House. Plenty of space and beautiful space to hang out with my girls!
We took our family portraits in the backyard of the Ranch House, had our ceremony at the pond, and our reception in front of and inside the beautiful barn. The property offered so much variety for the different elements of our special day, and our guests loved it. The catering/food prep area was conveniently located near the dining area, and we set up the bar under the walnut tree (which had mason jar candles hanging from the branches). There was a restroom very conveniently located nearby the dining area as well. It's a perfectly designed venue.
Corinne and her staff are wonderful. Corinne always responded very promptly to my many questions throughout the many months of planning. And the staff who helped us throughout the wedding weekend (especially Jenna!) were always available to help us and our guests with anything. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
