We can't thank the staff at Zaca Mesa staff enough for making our wedding day everything we had dreamed of and more! The venue is stunning, the wine is delicious and the staff are outstanding. From our initial wedding inquiry to the day-of, we immediately felt welcome and knew we were in good hands. Pricing is clear and transparent, the list of furniture for use during an event is extensive, and communication with venue staff is excellent. Zaca Mesa went above and beyond to help make our dream wedding come to life. A special thank you to Tara and Jake for all of their help and planning expertise over the last year! -

Perfect Day at Zaca Mesa: Incredible Wine and Service
Our wedding at Zaca Mesa Winery this July was an absolute standout. From the moment we toured the estate, we knew the stunning Los Olivos backdrop was exactly what we wanted. The views of the rolling hills and oaks are breathtaking, and the grounds are kept in pristine condition.
Beyond the scenery, the estate wine is incredible. Our guests haven't stopped talking about how much they enjoyed the selection; it truly elevated the entire evening. The on-site accommodations were also a perfect fit for our needs—convenient and very well-appointed.
The highlight of our experience, however, was working with Jake L. He was a total pro and brought such a fantastic, positive energy to the planning process. Jake was incredibly easy to work with, coordinating seamlessly with our wedding planner and all our vendors to ensure everyone was in sync.
Thanks to Jake’s attention to detail, the entire day ran smoothly. We were able to actually relax and celebrate because we knew he had everything under control. If you’re looking for a venue with "wow-factor" views and a top-tier team, we cannot recommend Zaca Mesa and Jake highly enough! -

Outstanding
Our wedding at Zack Mesa Winery was nothing short of magical. From the breathtaking views to the beautifully maintained grounds, every detail created the perfect backdrop for our special day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — romantic, elegant, and warm all at once.
What truly set our experience apart, though, was the hospitality manager, Jake. From the very beginning of the planning process, Jake was incredibly courteous, attentive, and thoughtful. He took the time to answer every question, ease every concern, and make sure no detail was overlooked. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Jake made it feel seamless and enjoyable. His professionalism, calm demeanor, and genuine care made us feel completely supported every step of the way.
On the day of the wedding, everything flowed effortlessly, and that’s a true testament to Jake’s organization and dedication. He went above and beyond to ensure not only that we were taken care of, but that our family and guests felt welcomed and comfortable as well.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue with stunning scenery and exceptional service, Zack Mesa Winery is it. And if you’re lucky enough to work with Jake, you’ll be in the very best hands.

Weeks later, we're still absolutely gushing over the Zaca Mesa Winery; it was the perfect venue for our wedding. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to gorgeous mountain views, an incredible indoor reception space, a perfect wedding ceremony under the most glorious Oak tree. We could not have asked for better! Tara truly made us feel like VIP’s throughout the whole booking, planning process and especially on the day of. Our guests were in awe of the view (we also lucked out with absolutely perfect weather), and how every detail was perfectly executed. We could not recommend the Zaca Mesa Winery enough, and can't wait to return for future celebrations. It's definitely well-worth the investment for a beautiful, love-filled weekend! -

I had my wedding at Zaca Mesa at the end of September. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. The venue is stunning; the staff (shout out to Tara!) is professional, responsive, and accommodating; and of course, the wine is fantastic. Everything from the venue booking to the wine selection and the actual day was completely seamless. It was better than anything I ever dreamed. I am thrilled that I made the decision to hold my wedding here and the memories will last a lifetime. I'm also happy to now be wine club members and go back frequently. Can't recommend enough! -

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was getting married at Zaca Mesa Winery. We instantly fell in love with how remote it is and how you truly feel like you are surrounded by nothing by nature. It’s set back from the street so we didn’t have to worry about cars zooming by like at other venues. Between the vineyards, the oak trees and spring/summer poppies, the setting is absolutely picturesque. Not only is the venue stunning but the staff, especially Tara Creighton are top notch. It was important for us to be able to connect with the staff and Tara did an amazing job of working with us and helping to manage the event on the day of. She truly went above and beyond and we are so very thankful for all her help. Zaca Mesa was very flexible and catered to our specific desires and vision. The site fee was very reasonable and it allowed us to spend money on other details like live music vs paying a fortune for just the venue. Another one of our favorites things about Zaca Mesa and arguably one of the biggest factors in our decision, is their wine. The wine is delicious and being able to choose between both Tread and Zaca Mesa wines allowed us to have the variety that we were looking for. Our overall experience with Zaca Mesa was incredible. We are grateful for the memories we made there and for all the incredible staff that helped to make our day perfect. If getting married in wine country is your dream, check out Zaca Mesa, it will not disappoint.

The venue, the wines and the staff are all 5 star!
From the moment we made our first appointment until the wedding, Tara and all the staff at Zaca Mesa Winery were incredible. Tara was on top of everything, was extremely accommodating and I can't express how the team went out of their way to help us with our wedding. I knew we had a special place when I saw the venue, but I didn't know I would get the customer service level that we received. They made the event seamless and rolled with all the punches. The venue, the wines, the staff are all five star. -

We were looking for a venue that would handle a small wedding and still give us the attention and support that a larger group might command. Zaca Mesa was perfect. The grounds are lovely, the staff is friendly, accommodating, supportive, and flexible, and the recommendations they made for supporting vendors were top-notch. Each step of the way, Ileana kept in contact with us and made decision-making easy. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect, with the staff attending to details and coordinating with our wedding planner to make sure everything went as planned. And, of course, being able to feature the excellent Zaca Mesa wines to our guests was a plus. We continue to get compliments from our guests about what a beautiful day and evening it was. -

Beautiful setting for our wedding.
My husband and I got married here on October 1st and absolutely loved it. We have gotten so many compliments from guests that it was a great venue. From ceremony to reception, the different locations made it feel like multiple different places in one. We are so happy we had our wedding here! -

Zaca Mesa was the best decision and truly perfect - it almost feels imaginary. The amazing scenery, wine, location, venue set-up, team... I could go on and on.
Their events team makes planning and choosing to spend your special day with them easy and enjoyable… so does their wine! Upon inquiry they provide helpful venue packages and layouts to see what fits your day, as well as recommended vendors. Their recommendations are tried and true and so helpful for a venue where you have to bring a lot of things in. It’s also beneficial to have vendors familiar with the venue.
You can expect the same level of great service and excitement throughout wedding planning and on the day of. You honestly get a lot of value at this venue, including a Zaca Mesa event manager. Tara is reliable, a pleasure to work with, and a breath of fresh air. She and their broader team really care about making your wedding unique and special!
Not only did we have the biggest smiles all day, our guest did too. Thank you Zaca Mesa for sharing our day with us and for making it absolutely amazing. It will be our favorite place forever! -

We couldn't have asked for a better experience celebrating our wedding at Zaca Mesa Winery! Beyond accommodating, beautiful venue, amazing wine, and truly the most incredible staff. We had an al fresco dinner under the oak tree surrounded by the vines, followed by dancing in the newly renovated View Room which is stunning. Our guests told us they felt like they were on a European countryside vacation and couldn't get over how picturesque the views were. It really was our dream wedding! -

Absolutely loved Zaca Mesa Winery! I got married there this past October and everything went off without a hitch. The ZM team (particularly Tara the Events Manager) was so helpful, kind, warm, and welcoming to my husband and I and our family. Tara answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. The setting is beautiful and the venue is kept in very good condition. I really didn't need to bring in much decoration to make it feel special. -

Zaca Mesa Winery provides everything you need to create your dream vineyard wedding. Outdoor and indoor space gives you flexibility to adjust if weather doesn't cooperate. All space are gorgeous on their own and can be used in multiple ways. Not to mention the wine is delicious. Several of our guests commented on how good the the wine was and how they didn't have a headache the next day. HA! We had our ceremony outside, dinner under the tree and then moved our dance indoors. Loved ALL of it! Tara was responsive and easy to work with. There was really nothing I would cahnge about our wedding. It was magical! -

When it came to finding a venue, my husband and I knew we wanted an outdoor venue. We packed 6 venue tours in a weekend, and Zaca Mesa Winery was our first stop. As we walked the grounds and made our way down to the lawn and oak tree, I turned to my then-fiance and said, "This is it; we don't need to look anywhere else." The lawn and oak tree package offers stunning mountain views and an intimate ceremony and reception feel.
After touring the remaining venues, we went home and agreed that Zaca Mesa Winery was our venue. The coordinators at Zaca Mesa Winery were fantastic, easily reachable, and prompt with their responses. We appreciated Tara's guidance and assistance through the planning process, including wine suggestions, ceremony and reception layout, and more. Day of, Tara went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect - even helping my mom and maid of honor bustle my train.
We can't thank Tara and the Team at Zaca Mesa Winery enough for making our wedding a day we will never forget. -

It's been 6 weeks since my wedding, and I'm still reliving it every day. Zaca Mesa Winery is the best place to have your wedding if you're wanting a winery wedding close to LA and have less than 150 people attending. And it's not just because of the amazing staff, the stunning views or the gorgeous facilities, but for me, it's really because the wine is actually outstanding. I have been to so many winery weddings where mediocre wine is forced upon me and you won't have that issue with Zaca Mesa. Their wine quality is there and your guests will compliment you all day and night on that; people are still texting me about how great the wine and the food was at our wedding so trust me, it's a big deal.
The only downside with Zaca Mesa as a venue is that you have to bring in absolutely everything. This isn't necessarily negative if you're like me and wanted everything the way you wanted it; but if you're looking for more turn-key services such as catering, rentals, decor and entertainment included, this would not be the right spot for you to have your wedding.
Overall, everyone at Zaca Mesa was incredibly sweet and supportive the entire duration of the planning and execution process and I couldn't really have asked for a better experience. This was an incredible value and Tara was so kind to my husband and I every step of the way! If I could do it all over again, I would book Zaca Mesa every time. -

Zaca Mesa Winery is an absolute dream venue! From the moment we arrived, Illeana made us feel comfortable, excited and gave us a vision of how our day would be. The entire team is responsive, direct, and friendly with any changes or ideas we had for the wedding.
Pros
- great wine
- fantastic staff
- flexible with time for vendor setup, breakdown and were very professional when the hiccups happened.
- responsive and respectful to our vendors
- lots of different areas for guests to relax and enjoy
Cons
- bathrooms are a little far from the festivity areas. Also, very ugly and outdated.
- no bridal suite
- event must end by 10pm (although most venues in the area require this)
All in all, I can't recommend them enough. We had the most memorable wedding day at Zaca Mesa and can't wait to return to relive our special day (with lots of great wine!).
