Yawgoo was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding this past September, and they were an absolute dream to work with! With an invite list of over 300 of all ages, we wanted to prioritize bringing people together at a cost that wouldn’t leave us crippled—we visited a number of venues but as soon as we got to Yawgoo my (now) husband and I looked at each other and knew this was the place. His dream wedding was to have an enormous cookout with great food & great music, and my dream wedding was to create an exotic tropical environment for everyone I love, and—we really didn’t know how those visions were going to come together until that day—I can’t imagine it working better anywhere else but Yawgoo! They’re extremely flexible!! Planning everything was a breeze with Lin and Rob, who are so communicative and have excellent attention to detail. (We also loved getting to know their sweet dog, Scout) Day of the wedding: Yawgoo is sooo well versed in serving very large groups, which I will admit I was nervous about before hand, and I was thoroughly impressed. Their grounds are beautiful and full of variety. We had our ceremony in one area, cocktail hour (turned into more like two!) with live music in the side pavilion, with the fields and lawn games open for kids and adults to enjoy themselves, and then we were able to fit everyone (around 230) inside the 2 levels of large pavilion for the reception with room for our first dance, a DJ, a rock band, and our head table! The food was BOMB. Everything cooked to perfection! They say the bride never ends up eating at her wedding, well let me tell ya—I sure ate!!! Yawgoo was amazing: when the upper pavilion (all young folks) were finished eating, they cleared out most of the tables to open up the full dance floor, without disrupting anything! The staff was so attentive, friendly, and helpful. My husband and I look back on that joyous day with such fondness, and we hope to have more opportunities to celebrate life milestones at Yawgoo in the future!

My husband and I would recommend Yawgoo Bakes to anyone looking for a indoor/outdoor wedding venue!! Lynn and Rob were wonderful to work with. They both were extremely helpful and very accommodating, even with last minute changes. They helped make the wedding planning process very easy! A few of our favorite parts about Yawgoo Bakes was how private the venue is, the food and the fact you can decorate the barn to your liking! We had a vision for our wedding and we were able to achieve the perfect day. I couldn’t have imagined having our wedding at any other venue! Thank you Lynn & Rob - can’t wait until the next celebration we have at the Bakes!

This place is a wonderful no fuss venue! We set up lawn games for everyone to play during cocktail hour (HUGE hit!) and even had a Del's truck and bouncy house! Then in the pavilion we had twinkle lights put everywhere for a very romantic feel. Food was high quality and enjoyed by everyone. Afterwards, we did a s'mores bar and bonfire where we gave out blankets...another huge hit. Everyone is still talking about how this was the most unique wedding ever but they enjoyed the change from traditional pace. Also, Lin was wonderful to work with and always able to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Our wedding day was absolutely amazing. The service was on point, food was delicious, and the venue was beautiful! Lin and Ron are incredibly supportive and responsive whenever I reached out (which was often)! No hesitation, I would recommend this venue if your looking for a rustic venue.

My granddaughter had her wedding reception there. Owner was very tough to work with. The owner was rude. I also do not think that dragging large trash barrels through the dining room to clear tables while people are eating is very classy for a wedding, and young children clearing tables or attendants in jeans and T-shirts were also not conducive to wedding receptions.
Food was ok but not great. The place is very run-down and needs a lot of updating. 2 of the wedding guests got stung by wasps that were in a hive at the entry door. The restrooms located outside in another building were clean at the beginning, but not maintained throughout the evening. Also very run down. This place is ok for a company BBQ or maybe (?) even a family BBQ, but not in any way appropriate for a wedding or any other formal event.
