History Yarborough Mill was built in 1849 as a working gristmill and settlement by Percy Yarborough, a prominent physician and pharmacist in Adairsville, Georgia. At the time, the Mill also served as the local post office where mail was delivered on horseback. The Mill was in operation through the early 1900s and was purchased in 1998 by the current owners and has been lovingly restored, keeping any improvements true to its original integrity. We began operating as a wedding venue in 2013.

Gorgeous Location to Photograph

Myself and my associate photographers have photographed weddings at this venue on three separate occasions, and I really love it for several reasons.

First, it's just beautiful and the options for gorgeous photos are unending between the four buildings on property and the vast outdoors with fields, woods, the river, and the long winding driveway/road. I'd be happy to share a full gallery with anyone of this location.

Another huge advantage of having a wedding here is that everything is onsite. Getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Being able to do all of that at one location helps wedding days go so much smoother than having to travel between locations with a bridal party and trying to coordinate vendors to show up at different locations.

And I've found the venue owner Karen to be a real sweet heart in hospitality on the weddings I've photographed there. Personally I'd love to shoot here again and again. When couples and even friends of mine who get engage ask me for venue recommendations I always mention Yarborough Mill. ~ Chris Jones, Sowing Clover Photography

Mother of the Bride

Yarborough Mills is a gem. Karen was very accommodating to the bride’s wishes for the tent placement and other arrangements. Due to very rainy, cold weather we had last minute concerns regarding parking and the honeymoon suite. Karen walked us through options and made it a worry free day. I highly recommend this rustic elegant venue.

My daughters 1920’s theme wedding 10/27/2018

The owner of Yarborough Mill was so personable and always available if we had questions day or night. We revisited the venue with our daughter the bride and Karen was a gem. Karen and the venue were perfect. I would highly recommend this venue over and over again. We rented the venue for the weekend and loved it.
The wedding was perfect as Was the venue.
Thank you again Karen.
