History Yarborough Mill was built in 1849 as a working gristmill and settlement by Percy Yarborough, a prominent physician and pharmacist in Adairsville, Georgia. At the time, the Mill also served as the local post office where mail was delivered on horseback. The Mill was in operation through the early 1900s and was purchased in 1998 by the current owners and has been lovingly restored, keeping any improvements true to its original integrity. We began operating as a wedding venue in 2013.
