Sam Arpino (she/her) founded withMavens Events after graduating from NYU with her Masters in Event Management to bridge a gap she saw in the wedding & events industry: implementing radically inclusive planning practices without sacrificing an elevated experience. Sam believes that being an event maven goes beyond logistical or creative expertise; gatherings are nothing without people, so our identities & lived experiences should be valued as expertise.

As a born & raised New Yorker, Sam has brought in repeat clients & countless referrals because she keeps it real with her clients, vendors, & planning team - always. With a previous career managing large teams, coaching executive leadership, & developing people operation & culture strategy in large non-profit organizations, Sam has perfected how to keep it real while still providing top-tier client experience.
