As our MOC she went above and beyond any of our expectations in keeping us and all our vendors organized and on track, and ensured every aspect of the event went off without a hitch. Sam kept us grounded during the planning process and made it as un-stressful as possible while we were going crazy. With her hard work and guidance we were able to have an elevated event that still felt like us. After our wedding, we were happy that all the planning was over, but we were sad not to have our check-ins with Sam anymore. I couldn't have imagined my wedding day without Sam, she made sure everything was flawlessly executed, and when I mentioned we were running behind schedule, she handled it, and took every task from me. There were things I didn't think of while planning the wedding, and Sam made sure she stood on top of it and made sure there was an answer to everything. You can't put a price on what Sam did - she took the worries, hesitations, and concerns out from under me and made sure I ate, drank, and enjoyed my wedding.

To put it simply, without Sam we would not have had our dream wedding. While my now wife (!!!) and I are both extravagant people by nature, we are not planners and the task of planning a destination wedding was a bit out of our wheelhouse.

Her organization skills are top tier, no trip went without an hour by hour itinerary that came with its own brief before hand. Her ability to research and distill down the key details we needed to know in order to pick a venue made a normally daunting task incredibly easy.

Sam is incredibly well versed in navigating a very heteronormative wedding industry. She helped us source queer owned vendors where possible, and took time to understand our preferences and needs. She even helped us ensure there were gender neutral restroom options available for our guests.

My wife and I also are chronic procrastinators and she kept us on top of our game with grace and understanding. Our regular meetings ensured we were doing everything we needed to do while adhering to time sensitive milestones we otherwise would have missed without her guidance.

The day of the wedding was a breeze due to her expertise, everyone knew their roles, and the day went off without a hitch. Since our wedding, my wife and I have decided we are not made for wedding tier stress, but if we ever needed to do it again, we would without a doubt make sure Sam was leading the charge.

My husband and I had the most magical and amazing wedding and a lot of it was thanks to Sam from withMavens Events! We hired Sam as our day of coordinator.
