Amazing experience! My daughter got married a week ago and I cannot say enough great things about Markie and Jake. Engagement photos were part of the package and it was a great opportunity for the bride and groom to get to know their photographers and feel comfortable with them. Markie is very responsive and helpful when we had any questions and worked to help make the wedding day amazing. I never thought of photographers as anything other than picture takers but Markie and Jake really helped add to the entire wedding experience.

Markie and her husband Jake did an awesome job with our engagement and wedding photos. We weren’t sure what to expect since my husband and I had never had professional pictures done but she made it very easy and comfortable to work with. Even with her being pregnant at the time she didn’t let anything stop her. We went on a beautiful snowy hike in the wintertime near Mt Rainier and had so much fun. We would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Markie absolutely blew our minds with her photography. I vibed with her instantly when we first spoke, and she was up to wander around Seattle at night with us for our elopement! I even text her places I wanted to get photos done at the night before and she was completely game to explore with us. She worked perfectly with our crazy little family (we have a then 5 year old), and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. When we got our photos back both my husband (who is not emotional at all) and I cried. Seattle is our favorite city, and we have already decided to go here for all of our future life events so Markie can take photos! I can't wait to work with her again!

Markie Jones Photography did an amazing job on my daughter Summer and her husband Michael's wedding at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. She worked with a second photographer and shot over a thousand photos in around six hours. So many great photos to choose from. We loved all of our photos! Markie took the time to meet with us prior to our wedding to find out what thoughts and ideas we had as well as give us advice and information. She took the time to get to know us and it definitely showed in the photos that were taken. On a day where your mind is going crazy with things that need to be done, she helped us focus on what we had talked about and remembered the photos we showed her that we loved and made sure we captured them perfectly. We have since done our one year wedding anniversary shoot with her and plan on doing many more photo shoots in the years to come!

Very unhappy with my pictures. Most are unusable. Noy one good portrait picture. Our faces were captured when we weren't prepared. We are mid blink or mid smile. Majority of the pictures are this way. Family portraits are the same. Very, very upsetting. Don't be fooled by online portfolios.
