As an "unartistic" Taurus with over-empathetic tendencies, I never thought I'd be pursuing a career as a wedding photographer. I wanted to be a veterinarian, but I quickly hated euthanasia. I turned to film photography while failing college, only to find the love of my life in the arts. Beginning as a sports photographer, I slowly found my way into weddings... .

Amazing experience! My daughter got married a week ago and I cannot say enough great things about Markie and Jake. Engagement photos were part of the package and it was a great opportunity for the bride and groom to get to know their photographers and feel comfortable with them. Markie is very responsive and helpful when we had any questions and worked to help make the wedding day amazing. I never thought of photographers as anything other than picture takers but Markie and Jake really helped add to the entire wedding experience.

Snowy Engagement ❤️
We are in love with all our pictures ❤️ Markie did an amazing job with everything!! We ended up picking a place that was going to be over 8 miles and she was all in!! We got so many great pictures to use. We recommend her to everyone!!

Professional, fun, and very easy to work with
Markie and her husband Jake did an awesome job with our engagement and wedding photos. We weren’t sure what to expect since my husband and I had never had professional pictures done but she made it very easy and comfortable to work with. Even with her being pregnant at the time she didn’t let anything stop her. We went on a beautiful snowy hike in the wintertime near Mt Rainier and had so much fun. We would definitely recommend her to anyone.
