I am very fair skinned and usually when I meet with a make-up artist- they over do me- drag style. No offense but being fare toned it takes some subtle touches to ‘doll me up’.

I hired Dawn to do my hair and makeup for my wedding and she was excellent! I loved the end look and the makeup looked great in pictures. Very glamorous but still like me. We also scheduled a trial run for both and she was able to fit me in for the day of my engagement photos after some confusion on my part. She is calm and works quickly and got everyone done by go time for pictures. Hiring Dawn was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding and I highly recommend her for any special event.

Dawn did a wonderful job for my rustic July wedding. She was always immediate with communication, very prompt, and her prices were super reasonable. I was very grateful for how far she was willing to travel from the Seattle area. She did a great job keeping me looking like myself (my hair is curly and she encouraged me to keep it that way). I was really pleased with how it turned out. And, as I never wear makeup, she was very patient with me when it came to how cautious I was about it. I really recommend a pre-wedding run-through so you have a better idea of what you want, that helped me a lot. I highly recommend Dawn. I loved how the pictures turned out!

Dawn Padgett of Seattle Bride Hair went above and beyond for my wedding! First, she flawlessly styled hair for eight ladies starting before 6:00 AM on a Sunday morning. She was so efficient that we were ahead of schedule and had enough time to make sure that everyone's hairstyle would stay put for the entire day--if any curls needed re-curling, it was done! All eight of us had very different hair textures, styles, and wedding day hair visions, yet everyone got exactly what they were looking for without a problem.

Now, for my hair. Dawn gave me the most beautiful hairstyle for my trial. On the actual wedding day, she somehow made the original look I had in mind even more unique and stunning- cascading curls pinned up to one side. It was gorgeous and timeless and just what I'd wanted. She even expertly pinned a delicate dried flower comb I'd purchased on one side, completing the look. After my years of fighting with my frizzy curls, she made them look exquisite. The hairstyle stayed put after hours of crazy dancing at my reception and still looked perfect for sunset photos 12 hours later.
