She was really great at holding us to our own deadlines, gently nudging us forward whenever we needed it - never stressful and always supportive.

Throughout the planning process, she brought organization, quick communication, and thoughtful problem-solving. At the Friday setup and Saturday's main event, she and her team handled everything from directing car traffic, to guiding the vendors (catering, band, bartending & oyster bar) on where they needed to be and when. We did this at our home with 160+ guests, so it was no easy feat. We truly could not have done it without her.

I interviewed several wedding planners, many of which were focused on fitting my wedding into a box. In some of the interviews, I could tell the planners were not comfortable advocating for brides wishes, navigating vendors, and planning logistics personalized to our specific event and day. From the beginning, Karla was interested in what we were looking for as a couple. I could tell right away she had the knowledge and experience planning so many types of events (not just weddings) and that she could be nimble to meet our requests and get buy-in from vendors. Karla did just that - she delivered! We loved meeting with her 6 months out, keeping her posted on our details, and really diving into planning with her in those last several months. For the last several weeks she was such an amazing go-to for any silly question I had, and a sounding board for some complex situations including navigating plans for a bridal party member with health concerns. She talked everything over with me with each new hurdle, kept me calm, and was always genuinely focused on the end goal - getting us married and just the way we envisioned it. Not only that, she stayed as committed as I was to all my little details for setup, placement of wedding items - the list goes on. We had an intricate timeline that involved moving between several rooms of a venue with simultaneous actions taking place, vendors moving, etc. She worked closely with the venue and all my vendors. If there was an issue, I never knew. We were on schedule throughout the night and everything went off without a hitch. Karla made our fairytale wedding day come true. We used Karla for her day of event coordinator package and we truly couldn’t have imagined the day without her. Even my family was obsessed with Karla! She is so professional and great at what she does but also brings this personal and genuine caring aspect. We had weekly calls the month leading up to our wedding as well as a few check in calls the year leading up to it. She had so many great suggestions and thought of the things we would have never thought of. The day of wedding i was greeted with the biggest hug and smile and just great vibes! She made sure we are okay throughout the wedding, made sure everything ran smoothly, made sure we were fed and having a great time! She arrived at the venue before myself or my husband to make sure everything was perfect and finish doing the last minute touches. We even added to the package for the breakdown of our wedding since it was at a brewery and was more of a DIY wedding and she organized everything and made sure all of our stuff was together. I got married this August in the Hudson Valley and found Karla randomly on the Bride of the Hudson Valley and I’m so glad I did! Right off the bat Karla was personable, to the point and very experienced. Her prices are competitive but not overpriced and you are getting what you pay for 100%. I got the wedding coordination package just for the day or but Karla checked in on me everything few weeks. While I felt organized, Karla was there and readily available by text for any random question or concern I had during my planning process. She filled in the gaps for things I easily missed. My venue was completely bare meaning that I had to bring in everything from linen to catering, a large tent, ect. On the day of she was there, making sure all vendors were on track, everything was set up how I pictured and fielding questions and concerns to allow me to have a stress free day. Karla is amazing and I recommend her without hesitation!!
