Wexford jewelers made a custom wedding set for me using my family heirloom sapphire and one of their beautiful settings. Sarah, the designer, did a fabulous job and was very communicative and helpful throughout the process. She even suggested doing a color gradient with the side stones, which turned out very lovely.
Even though the jeweler is based out of Michigan, the designer in Arizona, and I'm in California (the whole process was arranged through emails back and forth), everything about ordering the custom set and sending them my sapphire was smooth and easy. The set also came in a beautiful wooden ring box!
Wexford has so many unique designs, many nature inspired and also gorgeous vintage designs, that really stand out over the typical solitaires and heavily blinged out rings I was seeing in all my local jewelers. I've gotten so many compliments on my rings (prize tea rose set, with my sapphire and gradient shades of blue topaz on the sides) from friends, family, and total strangers!
