The team at WestGateRiver a ranch were amazing. They made everything go incredibly smoothly. They are very experienced and have great suggestions and advice. They listen and truly want to create your dream wedding. Every last minute thoughts and needs were met! The all inclusive venue makes things so easy. Other than location, they handle food, entertainment, and the officiant. The whole ranch was such a peaceful and romantic place it was nearly impossible not to be captivated by the beauty of it all! My husband and I were so happy that it was so family and fur friendly! We had such an incredible time! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding. We are so happy we chose WestGate River Ranch.

My husband and I recently got married at Westgate River Ranch, everything was fantastic from the extremely helpful and nice front desk staff down to every last wedding detail. The ladies at the front desk made our check in very easy and everyone was so helpful. Tammy from food and beverage planned our wedding and it was everything we could dream of. The food and beverage staff (Tammy, Rosa, and others who’s names I don’t know) helped make the wedding of our dreams without the stress.

River Ranch was a wonderful place to have our small wedding to kick of the new year. Tammy Straub, our wedding coordinator, made us feel she was planning a wedding for a member of her family. She was always available to answer our questions, and when our wedding party doubled in size a week before the wedding date, she seamlessly made sure that all the details involved with adding additional folks went off without a hitch. Our casual wedding dinner at the Smokehouse Grill was fabulous ( be sure not to miss the mac and cheese!). Eileen Lied, the manager, went over and above to make a very special table presentation for us that was a lovely surprise. The rodeo is a must as is dancing at the saloon! Be sure to to slow down and watch the horses, cows and buffalo grazing all around you, and the 100 year oaks - it will slow you down and most importantly, give you a few minutes to enjoy the wide open spaces of Florida cattle country.

From day one we were blown away by this venue. Tammy and Sully did an amazing job in bringing our vision to life. I initially shared a wedding Pinterest board with Tammy to give her an idea of what we were thinking in terms of colors, decorations, and setup. During our food tasting they had two tables laid out with options based on my Pinterest board. From there we were able to pick and choose options to make it exactly how we wanted. They listened to every change we wanted to make and made sure to ask questions, they truly wanted it to be perfect for us.

During our wedding weekend, they were there every step of the way making sure everything went smoothly and we had nothing to worry about. From the rehearsal to the rehearsal dinner to being picked up for the ceremony. The staff they had working our wedding was also so amazing. My husband is Eden's biggest fan! They made sure we were fed and always had a drink in our hands. Even after we arrived at our honeymoon suite they had food and drinks waiting for us!

The only reason I'm not giving Westgate a five-star across the board was that we were disappointed with the room block process and the delayed communication we experienced with the hotel team. Other than that we can not recommend them enough. If you're looking for a hassle-free planning process this is the place for you. You will not regret it.
