Was an excellent venue for a celebration of life... Beautiful

I had my wedding at The Coppedge House on 8/17/14 and Kathy is just amazing! I was working with a small budget and was having a lot of trouble finding other vendors that I could afford. Kathy recommended amazing people for everything I needed and they were ALL within my budget. Her assistant Sarah was AMAZING, any thing I wanted to change the day of the wedding or the rehearsal she took care of right away. I didn't have one single thing go wrong my wedding day or if it did, they took care of it before I could find out.

Before going to Kathy I was going to get married at Foxtail Golf Club in Rohnert Park. The Wedgewood team was horrible and told us we could have our deposit back if we found another venue before our first payment. Well long story short they kept the deposit ($4000.00) which was a huge chunk out of my budget. Kathy even helped us to get a lawyer and see what options we had to get the money back.

Anytime I had a question or help to find a hair stylist at the last minute she was available. The setup I wanted for my wedding was not the regular setup and I went there many times trying the different layouts for the ceremony and reception. When it was actually time for the wedding we were able to bring our decorations to her house the week before. Considering I did a TON of DIY it was nice to have some more space since family was staying at my parents house where it was stored at.

We had our wedding here in August 2013 and Kathy and her family are amazing to work with. The property allows for whatever kind of party you are looking to throw and all of our guests had an incredible time. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an affordable venue with beautiful oak trees and a stunning view of the sunset to consider Coppedge House.

I would give zero stars if I could. Kathy Alger at Weddings on the Vine stole $1,500 from us. From the moment she took our money communication became spotty, then nonexistent. She didn't even show up for the venue walk through!! After speaking with several businesses in the wedding industry it turns out she hasn't been paying the vendors she hires! We set up a meeting with her to get our money back and she gave us a check that bounced. Every week since she has assured us she has sent checks to repay us but they never show up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will promise you the world, take your money, and then do absolutely nothing she promises. Don't even consider using Kathy Alger!!! Total Fraud.
