We recently had our wedding at Wavering Place and cannot say enough good things! The grounds were perfectly manicured, the house was stunning (as always), and the fall leaves beginning to turn were the PERFECT backdrop for our wedding. Lisa, the owner, was responsive, gracious, and easy to work with. Highly recommend having a wedding here!!!

We had the most amazing experience at Wavering Place. The venue is absolutely stunning. The owners are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the history of the space. They allowed us to come a week before our wedding and bury a bottle of bourbon which I really appreciated. The venue has spaces for getting ready that are beautiful and functional. I’m obsessed with the trees on the property and the lighting during sunset. My wedding pictures turned out beautiful because of the lighting coming through the trees. The venue has so many different spaces that allowed for different spaces for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The amount of space allowed our guests to spread out but still be present. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place and better vendors to work with. You have such a breath taking entrance when you walk down the stairs to your ceremony under the trees. Every mentioned that moment throughout the wedding. I hope to rent out the space for an anniversary in the future and stay the night.

We held a wedding for 200 people at the end of April 2022. The venue was beautiful with an area for the ceremony, cocktail hour, buffet dinner, and large tent with the dance floor and band.. the grounds were beautiful and well manicured. Can’t be happier with our experience and choice.

Wavering Place and owners Lisa and Weston Adams offered the most amazing venue and experience for our wedding! The grounds, kitchen house, groom's suite, and pavilion are immaculately kept. Whether it was COVID, weather, or life's unexpected obstacles, Lisa approached each situation with professionalism, positivity, and encouragement! Her years of event experience at Wavering Place coupled with her cultivated relationships with local caterers, rentals, florists, sound technicians, band agents, and wedding planners made our experience easier to navigate and much less stressful - which allowed us to truly enjoy the entire weekend of festivities! There isn't one aspect of our magical day and evening that we would change! Kudos to this team of great people for providing the perfect venue for your most important day! We would highly recommend Wavering Place as the perfect place for your outdoor wedding or venue!!

Our experience with Lisa and Wavering Place could not have been better! My now husband and I were very worried with June approaching that we would have to postpone our wedding due to COVID 19. We were originally scheduled to get married indoors at another venue but with the pandemic we chose to move everything outdoors, just a month before our wedding date. Lisa was more than accommodating with the changes and quick turn around for our approaching date. We could not have imagined a better wedding day. This is a stunning venue with so much to offer! Highly recommend.

This venue has always been my dream wedding venue and it lived up to every expectation! I loved feeling like we had our own hidden gem that close to Columbia! From getting ready in the bridal cottage to dancing the night away in the green house, it was perfect! We highly recommend Wavering Place Plantation!

When we saw this location, we immediately fell in love! Everyone at Wavering Place was incredibly amazing to work with, and the setting is just hard to beat! Due to a family emergency, they worked with us to move up our wedding date, and were so accommodating! We had the fall wedding of our dreams - the gardens are immaculate, the charm is undeniable. It's just the perfect location for a wedding, and gave us that bohemian rustic charm we were looking for. We will forever be thankful for Lisa and her team!

Best venue! Not only is it the most beautiful place, they are so accommodating and personable. Lisa and her team worked with me to make sure my day was perfect (even through a tropical storm).
