This family-owned farmhouse has remained in the same family for over two centuries. The Bond-Bates-Hately family is dedicated to ensuring that newlyweds-to-be celebrate the day of their dreams at this stunning location.
Facilities and Capacity
Hartley House offers a choice of stunning event spaces for newlyweds-to-be to choose from. The main house has retained many of its original features, such as the polished floorboards and fireplace mantels. Those who would prefer to celebrate with an outdoor event may spend their day enjoying an alfresco occasion on the lawn. Market lighting will help to create a romantic ambiance, while guests can cozy up around a fire put as dusk falls. If you would like to enjoy the grounds but would prefer some additional coverage, you can choose to erect a tent on the lawn. This property also contains a get-ready suite, allowing you to prepare for your day in a spacious and private setting.

Hartley House was such a dream. It is the perfect place to get married in South Carolina if you don’t want to get married in a barn like everyone else but you still want to get married outside! Crystal and her husband were amazing to work with and basically granted every one of my requests. They helped me set up, and supported me so much leading up to the wedding day! The level of communication was incredible. They are professional and amazing. I’ve heard a lot people say on their wedding day they had a lot of time constraints and restrictions and it was not that way at Hartley House at all!!! Best venue ever, I would not have changed a thing.-

The best place EVER
I got married a month ago and had worked with Crystal closely for about 4 months prior to our wedding. She was the most understand and laid back venue owner I talked with. She made us feel SO welcome and celebrated every step of the way. On top of her pleasant personality that made every interaction with her wonderful, the venue itself is just STUNNING. I could not have imagined a more beautiful day.
Thank you to Crystal for creating such a romantic space! We feel so lucky to have celebrated our love at the Hartley House. -

My Wedding Day
Having our wedding at the Hartley House was a dream! The venue is absolutely stunning with so many great places to take photos. Beyond that, Crystal and John were the best to work with to make our wedding everything we ever wanted! Our experience was so memorable and our wedding is a day we cherish so much! -
