Veronica is a dream. She is a true artist and we are blessed to have her capturing life's moments. She has found her life calling with photography and it shows in every photograph. Not only is Veronica talented, but she also has the best personality to back it up. Calm, yet assertive, kind, but in charge, and a delicate addition to your personal space with posing for photos. I feel like she eases any anxieties of her subjects, which is huge.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience hiring Veronica as our wedding photographer. Throughout the whole process, she was kind and professional, but also made us feel comfortable and ourselves. She’s a brilliant photographer and even throughout the night our guests were pointing out how great she was capturing candid moments. Out of all of the great vendors that helped us through our wedding, Veronica was at the top of the list.

Where to start. Veronica is a true gem. We couldn’t recommend her enough. My partner and I had been together for a little over five years when we decided to officially tie the knot. We did so in a somewhat unconventional way, planning a very small, family-only wedding in the span of a month. It was a low- to no-frills wedding, and we wanted our photos to be very raw, real, and honest. First of all, we were so lucky that Veronica was available on such short notice. She was incredibly responsive and helpful in the weeks and days leading up to the day, providing input on things like timeline, photo locations, and tie color. Veronica did such an amazing job capturing that authenticity of our wedding in such a beautiful and artistic manner. I remember reading this in other reviews — and I can confirm it’s true — Veronica will capture the tiniest moments that might otherwise flicker by in an instant and be forgotten. Like the overwhelming combination of enthusiasm and nerves I felt when my dad was walking me down the aisle, or the tear rolling down my husband’s cheek as I read my vows to him. When we show our photos to our friends, their jaws drop because they are that stunning! Even better, every time I look at the photos, I remember all of the feelings of that day, and it fills my heart with joy. I will add that the day was a bit chaotic at times (planning a wedding in a month meant it wasn’t the smoothest affair) but Veronica handled everything like a champ. One of my favorite parts of the evening was actually the ride to and from Phipps with just Veronica, my husband, and I. It was this nice moment of calm and connection in the midst of a whirlwind. To summarize, we couldn’t be happier with the photographs that Veronica created - booking her was our best decision of our whole wedding - other than getting married of course. We feel so blessed that Veronica was able to capture this important moment in our lives!

If you’re considering hiring a photographer for your wedding, please read this! Hiring Veronica Varos was hands down the best decision that we made for our wedding day. My husband does photography as a hobby and is very particular about style and technique, so I thought he would have a hard time being in love with any photographer. However, as soon as we saw her natural, bright and unposed style, we knew that we had to have her capture our day.

I think that the photos speak for themselves, but what you can’t see is probably most important - amazing customer service. From the time that I inquired about her availability all the way to delivering pictures, Veronica was very responsive and thorough. I’ve always felt welcome to ask questions, re-arrange the timeline, add extra time and so on. We conversed and processed all paperwork/payments online which is 100% my preferred method of communications (hi, millenial here).

On the wedding day, having Veronica and her assistant there really helped me relax and enjoy the wedding instead of fretting about the timeline. She worked so well with the other vendors and my friends and family loved her too :) When my bustle broke, she even teamed up with my coordinator to fix it quickly and get me back to the party. If you got this far into this review, please take this away - a great photographer that you can trust is always worth the investment, and that’s what Veronica is.

Veronica was amazing to work with. We knew before we booked that we loved her photography style, but even beyond that, she was professional, energetic and kind on our wedding day. During the planning process she was understanding and responsive to my questions. And after our wedding, she has continued to be so helpful as we choose photos for prints and albums. I really cannot recommend her enough — she captured our wedding memories with beautiful light and composition. She's incredible at what she does.

Wow. I cannot say enough good things about Veronica. When my now-husband and I decided to cancel our big, traditional wedding and have a small quasi-elopement in Mellon Park instead, we started Googling "Pittsburgh elopement photographer" and blasting out emails to as many as we could find, hoping to find someone available with less than two months' notice. One name kept drifting up at every turn: Veronica Varos. We fell in love with her portfolio and were so excited that she was able to fit us in. She offered an elopement package that worked for our budget and timing, whereas many of the elopement packages we saw had minimum required coverage that was more than we needed. She was always quick to respond to emails, and gave the impression that she was excited to work with us. When it looked like we might be facing rain I reached out to her for advice on a backup plan, and not only did she offer suggestions, but she also reached out to her network of wedding photographers to get THEIR suggestions as well! The day of the elopement ended up perfect and sunny. When we arrived at Mellon Park she was already there and had scouted the perfect location for our little ceremony. During portraits she took time to provide direction, and she gave lots of positive feedback that helped us to relax in front of the camera, which made the whole process much less awkward and way more fun. We received a preview slideshow less than four weeks after the wedding, and the full gallery was ready about a week after that. And oh. my. goodness. The photos are absolutely stunning! She has an incredible eye for light and texture, which gives the photos an almost luminous quality. And she perfectly captured the intimacy of our little wedding, even catching some little moments I hadn't noticed as they were happening! We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos, and will truly be cherishing them for many years to come. You should not hesitate to book Veronica--she's the best!

Veronica is simply the best. She is so incredibly talented and a dream to work with. She answered all of my hundreds of questions throughout the planning process and did a wonderful job guiding me through many difficult decisions (I had a very hard time deciding whether to do a first look). She is also the sweetest person to spend your wedding day with! Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our intimate portrait sessions on our wedding day. And I LOVE all our wedding photos. She truly captured our family, our friends, and us. I cannot thank her enough for everything!

After following Veronica's photography for many years, she was the first vendor that I reached out to when getting engaged. She was so responsive and willing to help us find the perfect photographer even if it wasn't her. She's a true professional. All of our interactions with her whether it be via email or in person, she was always so thorough, reassuring and positive! She did our engagement photos and we had so much fun working with her and the results were amazing. Then the wedding day came. First, she showed up early and didn't waste any time, and quickly started taking photos. She fit in seamlessly and truly documents your day from beginning to finish in a way that we didn't even think was possible. The outdoor ceremony and portraits quickly came to a halt as it literally rained all afternoon. Veronica took this as a challenge and rolled with the punches like the pro that she is. She made the very best of the situation. Fast forward to receiving our images. First, we received them SO quick and then... Holy cow, we were blown away. I mean we knew she was good, but we couldn't believe how AMAZING our photos were, especially with such a rainy day! She captures moments that you never want to forget, some that you didn't even notice were happening and just has such a talented eye. She made us feel all the emotions that we felt the day of our wedding, over and over again with the photos she provided us. We've gotten so many compliments on our photos and the one thing people constantly say is, "your photographer captured people's emotions, you never see that"! And they are so right. Not only is she extremely talented she is also such a sweet person. Veronica is a one of a kind and we are forever grateful for her and her talent!!!

Veronica is amazing. She was our wedding photographer and did our engagement photos. She is so easy to feel comfortable around and gives great directions for those not used to being in front of the camera. She is this wonderful calm presence on your day. She is professional, but her opinions are honest and trustworthy. Her style is classic and she captures much more than just portraits. I highly recommend her!
