Boxwood Photography is a wedding photography studio serving Pittsburgh and beyond with local and destination coverage. The principle photographer and owner is Abie Livesay. She began capturing weddings and covering stories for her school’s newspaper in high school. She has lived and photographed around the country including Telluride Colorado – one of her favorite places.

She took time off to start a family and has two very sweet boys. Capturing their growth led her back to photography and to starting Boxwood.

Boxwood creates classic, honest imagery that captures both the historicity and joy of one of the most important days in our clients lives. We do this with fidelity and style but our images are never trendy or over processed; just a uniquely beautiful record of the day you shared making a commitment to one another with your closest friends and family. Some people like to call this photojournalism or contemporary wedding photography. We just call it Boxwood.
