Norma altered my mother's wedding dress many years ago, so I was excited to be able to use her to do the same. She was very kind and accommodating, and we met three times. She did a wonderful job at changing my dress from a zip-up into a corset, and also at shortening my gown. However, I did struggle on my wedding day to keep my strapless dress up where it should be. My mother and sister tightened it as much as they could without it the two sides of the corset overlapping, and still it kept falling down. Also, she added buttons to the back of my dress so that I could dance easier, and unfortunately one of them fell off while I tried it on one day before the wedding. My mother sowed it back on, but it popped off before we could even use it. I would probably use Vermont Cleaners again, but would ensure that my dress was tightened appropriately. Her prices were very fair.
