The number one thing we've heard from our guests is how good the food was. Abigale, Michael, and their whole staff were total pros. They flexibly worked around venue requirements, easily managed dietary restrictions, and delivered the most incredible service and plates. We used Trillium Catering for our wedding at French's Point in Stockton Springs, Maine in September 2024. Our guests are still raving about how it was the best wedding food they have ever had! The oysters, charcuterie spread and all of apps were incredible. The seated dinner was perfect. And the desserts!! It was too good to be true. The drinks were great as well - we loved our cucumber & rosemary gin & tonic and blueberry peach whisky sour signature drinks.

From the moment we had our tasting (which was the highlight of the wedding planning experience), we knew we were in for something special. The food wasn’t just good—it was extraordinary. Every bite, from the appetizers (lobster rolls!!) to the desserts, left our guests raving.

The service provided by Michael, Abigale and their team was impeccable. They ensured every detail was flawlessly executed, and we never had to worry about a thing. During the cocktail hour, they made sure the we (bride and groom) were always taken care of, keeping our drinks full and our plates loaded with the most delicious appetizers. They even went above and beyond by sourcing a cider from Washington DC, where we first met—a truly personal and thoughtful touch.

We were genuinely sad when we finished our doggie bag containers of the wedding food; it was that memorable. We can’t recommend Trillium highly enough for anyone planning a wedding in Maine. Their exceptional food, attention to detail, and remarkable service made our day unforgettable.

Trillium catered our June 2024 wedding and did an amazing job. For 150 guests, the food, appetizers and cocktails were all delicious. Guests raved that the food was better than most restaurants. The service was warm and attentive. Michael personally checked on us and our families during the cocktail reception and dinner to ask if we needed anything. Abigale & Michael were as professional and creative as they were kind and dedicated to us. We were wowed by the entire process - building a menu that reflected championed local ingredients on paper, workshopping and indulging at the pre-event tasting, and basking in the glory of it all on our big day. The experience felt like dining at a restaurant that swayed and adapted to the energy of the event. We can’t count the number of guests who came up to us and said “this is the best food at a wedding I’ve ever had.” We agree with them.

In addition to the seamless execution and delicious food, we can’t stress enough how kind and generous the team was to us (bride and groom) throughout, and especially on wedding day itself. Michael constantly controlled for quality and guest experience; Michael was the first person to welcome us to the reception, freshly prepared cocktails in hand. He also checked in on us, and our parents throughout the evening, bringing us all the food we may have missed. For our guests with dietary restrictions, he made of a point of personally personally delivering vegan entrees or gluten-free cake. The experience, the food, and the people are 10/10. We couldn’t recommend them higher.

Trillium Caterers, Abigale and Michael, are excellent communicators, produce the highest quality product, and do it all with a smile!! As wedding farmer-florists here in Maine, we work with dozens of catering companies every season. In the last five years, Trillium has stood out as the best communicators, and very easy to work with! They were thrilled to receive a bucket of food-safe and edible blooms from our fields for a joint wedding we were both vendors on, and Abigale and I emailed back and forth about colors, shapes, etc. until she got just the right mix to use at the wedding. It's that kind of attention to detail that ALL couples want! Don't think twice; hire Trillium for your wedding catering!!

We used Trillium catering for our wedding and I was absolutely blown away. I know I am biased, but I have been to 10 weddings this year and I think they are by far one of the best wedding caterers around. We were sadly unable to do a tasting so had no clue what to expect, but everything and I mean everything was delicious! All our guests were raving about all the hors d'oeuvres and how many options there were, especially the lobster rolls and oyster bar. The Burrata salad was the best starter, the beef was so perfectly cooked, and they even planned an extra butternut squash lasagna for me and my husband to try since we thought it sounded amazing.

The service and attention to detail was phenomenal. My mother was especially pleased when a server came up any time her drink was empty and refilled her glass with her stash of Pinot Grigio. Everyone at the bar was lovely to chat with and I don't think we waited long for a drink all night, and the drinks were very well crafted. All around the Trillium team provided amazing service for the whole event.

I was also not big on having a wedding cake but Trillium not only made a delicious two tier cake they also did bite size desserts that were delicious and the perfect treat for people to grab while taking a break from dancing.

I don't think a single person left our wedding hungry, but if they did there were pretzels and banh mi for people to grab on the way out. I just cannot say enough good things about all the food and drink Trillium prepared.

Working Trillium was truly one of the best parts of our wedding day. They provided catering and bar services for our August 2023 wedding, and the service was phenomenal. Abigale and Michael were so wonderful to work with throughout the process; they were extremely communicative and transparent when we reviewed the initial quote and contract, they were super responsive to our (many) questions throughout the planning process, and they were incredibly accommodating in helping us include a lot of really special details. Their attention to detail is amazing – every plate of food (for our wedding of 180!) was immaculate and tasted phenomenal. I had my heart set on an oyster raw bar during our cocktail hour, and the team delivered the most incredible set up - It was one of the highlights of our wedding! During the wedding day, Michael was so attentive to us, and personally delivered plates of cocktail hour snacks while we were doing family photos. We received so many compliments on the food, cocktails, and service. We cannot recommend Trillium highly enough!

Trillium brought absolute magic to our wedding day. From the presentation, to the service, to the quality of the meals, everything was done flawlessly. On top of the day of execution, the entire experience working with them was such a pleasure and so easy. The tasting was truly collaborative and they worked with us to design the exact right menu that met our wants and needs, but preserved the integrity of the meals and their expertise. I could not be more happy with how everything turned out. I want to relive our wedding day for many reasons and Trillium is high up on that list. We received (and honestly still receive months later) SO many compliments about the food.

So, in summary, you will be in the absolute BEST of hands if you choose Trillium as your wedding caterer and I may try to crash your wedding to experience it all over again!

From the wedding ceremony, where the welcome drinks were delicious; to the cocktail hour, where the mouth watering specialty cocktails, appetizers, raw bar, and charcuterie board each deserve their own separate thank you note; to the incredible feast for dinner… WOW the dinner. Everything was beautifully presented, perfectly proportioned, and DELICIOUS. As a very food-centered family, we still haven’t stopped talking about it. The blueberry crumb bars were the best blueberry bar I have ever had and I am pretty sure I will be dreaming about the steak for months, if not years, to come. All our guests made a point to say how amazing the food was and how much they loved the family style food service.

Their attention to both myself and my groom's comfort, ensuring we had all the beverages and bites we could ask for, did not go unnoticed. I was so happy to get all the tasty samplers and to break the hungry bride stereotype!
