Great experience! We hired Transier for our wedding and all of the photos exceeded our expectations. Plus they were so friendly their presence added even more joy to our special day.

When planning my destination wedding finding a photographer who could capture the day (not just the standard photos of bride, groom, and family) was a #1 priority. Christy went above and beyond all of my expectations! She took time to meet with me and my husband when we came to Key West to visit with vendors, explaining to us her process and going over some details we wanted to include. She also followed up with us a few weeks before the big day to do a run down of where we wanted to do first-look photos (which I highly recommend) and talk though the itinerary for the day, down to the minute. We wanted to maximize our time with her and her assistant, and with all of this preplanning we surpassed our goals! We were able to squeeze an additional stop into our first look stops around the island, and some additional location shots around the Southernmost on the Beach between our ceremony and reception. Christy also has a very welcoming and warm demeanor which we greatly appreciated in the midst of managing some emotional parents and siblings :) I might need to write another review just to talk about the photographs...stunning, breathtaking, gorgeous, perfect. Not only does Christy take great photographs, she's also prompt in getting them back to the bride and groom. We had our 'sneak peek' shots about a week after our wedding, and even had the option to have her 'tag' us on Facebook to share them with family and friends. Cannot say enough positive things about working with Christy or Transier photography, if you are looking for a photographer that you'll work with directly from start to finish who can capture your wedding day, look no further!

Christy was great! We had our wedding at Fort Zachary Taylor. We had her for the "getting ready" shots before the wedding, and for the wedding itself. Christy was very friendly and professional, and very easy to work with! When she was shooting our wedding, I didn't even notice she was there (though, honestly, it was tough to notice anything besides my stunning wife-to-be :) ). We got our photos about a month later, just in time to showcase at our reception up in PA. The photos were excellent and I couldn't be happier with them! I would highly recommend Christy as a photographer if you are having your wedding in Key West!

If you're looking to get married in Key West, call Christy Transier. My fiance and I were nervous about selecting a photographer for our destination wedding, but as soon as I spoke with Christy on the phone I felt 100% at ease. Christy and her assistants Kevin and Beth photographed our wedding rehearsal dinner, sunrise wedding, breakfast reception, couples pictures, and sunset wedding reception on July 12th and 13th, 2013. Christy and her team did a fabulous job!

I cannot recommend Christy highly enough. Her photography is spectacular, and she is a dream to work with. I’ve been a pretty serious amateur photographer for about 25 years and, as a result, am very picky about photographs. So, the idea of relinquishing control of the camera on our wedding day was more than a little bit scary for me. However, I was at ease with Christy from our first conversation.

We had a very small wedding in Key West (immediate family only) at sunset with a TTD shoot the next day at Fort Jefferson. Despite the fact that each of these venues presents serious lighting issues, virtually every picture she took is phenomenal (and she took hundreds). The lighting is spot on, the compositions are really creative, and the emotions she managed to capture are breathtaking. The ceremony pictures really captured the vibe of the ceremony, and she was able to do this without being intrusive. She also captured some really phenomenal moments (including a picture of my mom that is so poignant that it makes me tear up when I look at it). People even look relaxed and natural – rather than stilted – in the formal portraits. We are still trying to cull down the number of “must-have” shots for the album to 150.

In addition to all of this, you couldn’t hope to meet a nicer person. Fort Jefferson is not easy to get to, and shooting there required her to meet us at the airport at 7:30 am the morning after she shot our wedding. I was hesitant to ask whether she’d even be willing to take on such a project. She took it on gleefully and was just a delight to bound around the fort with. She actually made the process of taking the photos fun – not an easy task considering that my husband does not particularly like to have his picture taken, and I am far more at ease behind the camera than in front of it. And, her staff and assistant photographers are just as nice.

Simply put, we could not be happier with our experience.

We had Christy as our photographer for our wedding in May 2013. She was amazing!! She answered all our questions prior to the big day and communicated with us often! The day of she showed up and was ready to go. She was prepared and knew exactly what to do. She had a way of telling us what we needed to do in way that wasn't pushy or bossy. She listened to our needs as a family and as a couple! When we needed to take a break because we were so hot, she was completely understanding and gave us some time to cool down. She had an assistant with her the entire time and both of them helped calm our nerves when needed. We have not received the photos yet but we are confident they will be amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. She went above and beyond to make our wedding special. Christy is beyond talented, and I would personally recommended her to anyone getting married in the area!
