When planning my destination wedding finding a photographer who could capture the day (not just the standard photos of bride, groom, and family) was a #1 priority. Christy went above and beyond all of my expectations! She took time to meet with me and my husband when we came to Key West to visit with vendors, explaining to us her process and going over some details we wanted to include. She also followed up with us a few weeks before the big day to do a run down of where we wanted to do first-look photos (which I highly recommend) and talk though the itinerary for the day, down to the minute. We wanted to maximize our time with her and her assistant, and with all of this preplanning we surpassed our goals! We were able to squeeze an additional stop into our first look stops around the island, and some additional location shots around the Southernmost on the Beach between our ceremony and reception. Christy also has a very welcoming and warm demeanor which we greatly appreciated in the midst of managing some emotional parents and siblings :) I might need to write another review just to talk about the photographs...stunning, breathtaking, gorgeous, perfect. Not only does Christy take great photographs, she's also prompt in getting them back to the bride and groom. We had our 'sneak peek' shots about a week after our wedding, and even had the option to have her 'tag' us on Facebook to share them with family and friends. Cannot say enough positive things about working with Christy or Transier photography, if you are looking for a photographer that you'll work with directly from start to finish who can capture your wedding day, look no further!

Christy was great! We had our wedding at Fort Zachary Taylor. We had her for the "getting ready" shots before the wedding, and for the wedding itself. Christy was very friendly and professional, and very easy to work with! When she was shooting our wedding, I didn't even notice she was there (though, honestly, it was tough to notice anything besides my stunning wife-to-be :) ). We got our photos about a month later, just in time to showcase at our reception up in PA. The photos were excellent and I couldn't be happier with them! I would highly recommend Christy as a photographer if you are having your wedding in Key West!

If you're looking to get married in Key West, call Christy Transier. My fiance and I were nervous about selecting a photographer for our destination wedding, but as soon as I spoke with Christy on the phone I felt 100% at ease. Christy and her assistants Kevin and Beth photographed our wedding rehearsal dinner, sunrise wedding, breakfast reception, couples pictures, and sunset wedding reception on July 12th and 13th, 2013. Christy and her team did a fabulous job!

I cannot recommend Christy highly enough. Her photography is spectacular, and she is a dream to work with. I’ve been a pretty serious amateur photographer for about 25 years and, as a result, am very picky about photographs. So, the idea of relinquishing control of the camera on our wedding day was more than a little bit scary for me. However, I was at ease with Christy from our first conversation.

We had a very small wedding in Key West (immediate family only) at sunset with a TTD shoot the next day at Fort Jefferson. Despite the fact that each of these venues presents serious lighting issues, virtually every picture she took is phenomenal (and she took hundreds). The lighting is spot on, the compositions are really creative, and the emotions she managed to capture are breathtaking. The ceremony pictures really captured the vibe of the ceremony, and she was able to do this without being intrusive. She also captured some really phenomenal moments (including a picture of my mom that is so poignant that it makes me tear up when I look at it). People even look relaxed and natural – rather than stilted – in the formal portraits. We are still trying to cull down the number of “must-have” shots for the album to 150.

In addition to all of this, you couldn’t hope to meet a nicer person. Fort Jefferson is not easy to get to, and shooting there required her to meet us at the airport at 7:30 am the morning after she shot our wedding. I was hesitant to ask whether she’d even be willing to take on such a project. She took it on gleefully and was just a delight to bound around the fort with. She actually made the process of taking the photos fun – not an easy task considering that my husband does not particularly like to have his picture taken, and I am far more at ease behind the camera than in front of it. And, her staff and assistant photographers are just as nice.

Simply put, we could not be happier with our experience.

We had Christy as our photographer for our wedding in May 2013. She was amazing!! She answered all our questions prior to the big day and communicated with us often! The day of she showed up and was ready to go. She was prepared and knew exactly what to do. She had a way of telling us what we needed to do in way that wasn't pushy or bossy. She listened to our needs as a family and as a couple! When we needed to take a break because we were so hot, she was completely understanding and gave us some time to cool down. She had an assistant with her the entire time and both of them helped calm our nerves when needed. We have not received the photos yet but we are confident they will be amazing! Thanks Christy for everything!

Christy was my photographer for my wedding in Key West Feb 2013. She shot at both of my ceremonies Friday and Saturday as well as our boat cruise on Friday. She has a very laid back attitude and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was very flexible and accommodating with the shots you want. Her pricing and packages are very reasonable and her photobooth is fabulous!! I would highly recommend!

Key West Wedding + Christy Transier = Magic! I cannot fully express in words how truly amazing and talented Christy Transier is. We just received our albums-they are absolutely incredible! From the amazing pictures Christy took to the quality and craftmanship of the album themselves-it is really a work of art. She truly takes the time to make her albums spectacular! Christy was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was able to fit us into her schedule at the last minute, and was very prompt with answers to all of my questions. The sample of her work online truly matches up to the pictures she took of our wedding; they were fantastic. Also, she was always on top of all the details. She noticed that our scheduled ceremony time had not taken into account the daylight savings change that had happened the week prior, and suggested that we try to adjust it in order to capture the all important Key West sunset.

Christy took amazing photographs that we love, and people are constantly telling us how beautiful the pictures are. I highly recommend considering Christy to be your photographer.

Christy was amazing to work with! I highly recommend booking her for your wedding! She and Dee Dee were super easy and fun to work with. They are among the best in Key West (if not THE best)... and I was so honored to have them as a vendor!
We had a small (11 people total) wedding at Smathers Beach #11 on 10/11/12. Christy is probably used to working with larger, more high-end weddings so I was a little nervous about hiring her for a "small" job. She exceeded my expectations and did not treat our day like a "small" job at all. My only regret is that I could not afford to hire her for the entire day and evening! When looking into KW photographers and comparing prices, I did feel like "you get what you pay for". The less expensive photographers did not produce the high quality work that Christy creates. She is top notch!
In my wedding day nervousness, I completely forgot I was supposed to meet her in the lobby for our first look pics. She tracked me down in my parent's room where I was anxiously waiting by myself. She treated MY mistake very professionally, even though it was my mix-up!
Our first look pics were a lot of fun. There is the perfect spot outside of the Pier House. Christy knows all of the "spots" around town. We then walked over to Sunset Pier for pics. I love all of the colorful stools and tables there, then she got some group shots of us getting in the trolley... they were cute... but I realize coordinating 11 people to smile, wave, etc. at the same time is challenging. Since we didn't pay attention to other people's reactions on our wedding day, it was neat to see them in the pics.
The shots after the wedding (once we sent our families on their way to the restaurant) were the most fun! I didn't mind getting in the sand and getting sea foam and sticks in my dress! Christy has a vision so just go with what she tells you to do. The pics on the rocks and at sunset were my favorite. I highly recommend Christy Transier and getting married at sunset!

Working with Christy Transier was an extreme pleasure. We found Christy to be knowledgeable, approachable, easy going and most importantly, she listened very carefully to us. Transier Photography was one of a few preferred vendors at our Wedding Venue and after viewing Christy's photos online, I knew that her style of photography was how I wanted to capture our wedding.
Due to our busy schedules we did not meet Christy until the day of the wedding but had successfully corresponded through e-mails and phone.
She and her assistant were very prompt arriving to the wedding venue and both dressed professionally. They were very caring, easy going and accommodating; especially as it was a high stress event.
Christy was true to her word and had the photos ready less than one month after the wedding, a great turnaround time as we were married in June which is a busy Wedding Month!
The photos were awesome and my husband and I are having a hard time picking out our ultimate favorites for our Wedding Album.
I would definitely recommend Christy to any Bride.
I hope Christy is available to photograph our family when we return to Key West in the future!

She was great, she made us really comfortable. She even gave us a sneak peek photo on face book the next morning.
She was great at organizing a huge crowd that was not really paying attention to get the shots we asked for and then spent some one on one time with us-really taking her time to get some shots at several locations. I booked her a year out and Im so glad I did!

We flew down from SC on May 14, 2012 for our 7 pm wedding that same day - just the two of us. We chose Christy as our photographer after looking at her work on her web site. She was AMAZING!! We had only correspconded by e-mail until we met 30 minutes before our ceremony. I was at ease immediately with Christy and had a blast in my "photo shoot" with her prior to the ceremony, during the ceremony and after. As amazing and impressed as I was with her the day of our wedding, the photos she took were even more amazing and impressive. In looking for a photographer in Key West, we looked through work by a few vendors. Immediately we loved what Christy had made available online. While in KW we met Christy at our hotel and discussed her services. We were immediately happy with our decision. She made us feel at ease when discussing the event, and presented us with competitive list of prices for all of her services. Every aspect of our wedding were discussed from who will be present in particular pictures, to where on the island we wanted to photograph, to timing of the sunset. These preferences were confirmed prior to our trip down as well as the day of the wedding. We could not have been happier with Christy, and we hadn't even seen the finished product!

We the pictures were complete and released to us and our families, they proved to be more than we could have asked for. Quality was superb, drawing compliments from each person who saw them. We could not have been happier with hiring Christy!

We wanted to get married on the beach, but our family couldn't afford the trip. Instead, we got married at home and had pictures taken during our honeymoon. I was awarded a trip to Key West and thought what a great place to get married. I searched the web for simple weddings in Key West. There were alot of packages offered. I spent hours going through photos on these websites to choose the right one. The photos are all you have left after your day is over. In all my searching there were none that caught my eye. So I searched professional photography in Key West......When I came across Transier Photography I was blown away!! Christy's photos were breathtaking!! I emailed her, she emailed me right back. I was so excited when she had "my day" available. Since I had never been to Key West and I live in Connecticut I needed help to find other vendors. Christy suggested Lorri at Key West Hair & Make up and Mama Flowers.Which both were fantastic. I got my pictures back a couple days ago, They are so beautiful. I can't say enough about Christy. Don't get married without her!!! We'll be back to see beautiful Key West and see Christy for family portraits!

I cannot even begin to tell you how happy we are that we decided to use Christy Transier for our wedding! We were married in Key West on August 20th. The fact it was a destination wedding made it quite difficult when it came to choosing vendors. We pretty much had to go by web reviews and word of mouth. Christy's name kept coming up over and over so we decided to go with her. We are beyond thrilled that we did! She is so professional yet friendly and very understanding to what we wanted. The pictures are amazing and so different then just plain old run-of-the-mill wedding pictures. They are more like art. We have gotten so many compliments on them! To all the future brides out there, believe me when I tell you that choosing Christy to do your wedding will be the smartest choice you could make. I have to say, I was a little stressed about locating the PERFECT wedding photographer in Key West from afar! I found Christy online and instantly fell in love with her amazing work! I contacted her along with 2 other photographers, and she was hand down the most accommodating and easiest to work with!!! She made every interaction very personalized and special. Christy was also VERY timely with every process, which was something that was very important to me. She exceeded every timeline she presented. Then when we received our photos…. WOW!!!! My wedding was at Duck Key in the Beautiful Florida Keys. Christy Transier and her assistant were absolutly amazing. We wanted a quick photo session following the ceremony so we could attend the cocktail hour, and she was effective and professional at making this happen. She captured everything we were looking for, and all without being in the way. I knew she was snapping pictures away but she always remained in the background. She also responded so professionally to an intoxicated guest who wanted to be a little too friendly :) We did not know what to expect when we got the photo proofs back, I am happy to say we were speechless. The photos are so beautiful. She uses different lighting, color schemes and angles that made the pictures so unique and artistic. I truly could not be happier with her work.

Picking a photographer for my desitnation wedding was the one thing I wanted to ensure was perfect! A photographer captures all of the memories for you for the resst of your lives.

I know could not have chosen a better photographer, Christy captured the most wonderful pictures of not only me and my husband but our children and our families. Christy is a hands on photographer who does not mind getting down in the sand with you to get the right picture, if I had to do it all over again I would not do anything different. At the last minute when I decided to go into the ocean with my dres on she aws all for it and right up thre with me.

Christy was definately the right choice for us and our pictures were even better than we imagined! Thank you again!!!

I highly recommend hiring Christy Transier. We hired Christy for our wedding in Key West. The pictures are beautiful, Christy was very easy to work with and she went out of her way to help make our day perfect. She came to our condo to take pictures of the girls getting ready for the big day. I didn’t even think of asking her to do that but I’m so glad she did, those are some of my favorite pictures. Also, our wedding was on a boat so Christy suggested that we take some pictures on the beach before the wedding. We are very happy that we took her advice- the photos that she took on the beach are beautiful! Christy set up the moment where my husband saw me in the wedding dress for the first time and it was perfect. She even drove us to the dock so we would arrive on time. We had Christy photograph our elopement wedding at Smathers Beach this winter. Even after I changed the time and we had a few other unplanned hitches, Christy was very professional and did a great job. The photos are great--too bad I just can't keep my eyes open in the sun better! She also got the photos edited and sent out to us right away. I'm very happy and would recommend using Christy to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about the experience of working with Christy Transier. Not only is she flexible and accomodating with arrangements, she is also a truly talented photographer. The quality of the photos are impeccable. She is professional yet fun. Although our destination wedding was magnificent, I wish she were located closer to our home so that we could continually use her for family photographs! Thank you, Christy, for beautifully capturing the best day of our lives!!!!!

I found Chrisy on Weddingwire and could not have picked a more perfect photographer. She was so professional and easy to work with. You hardly knew she was even there. The pictures turned out fantastic! My husband, who hates his picture taken, was even happy with Christy!

My wife and I chose Christy to do our wedding photo's. Just a glimpse of some of her work and we knew she was the one for us. With all of the things that can go wrong at a wedding, the last thing you want to worry about is the photographer. Well, the day before our wedding, Christy came down with the flu very badly. Not only did she show up early, but she stayed late, suffering with sneezing, coughing, aching, a stuffy head and a fever and never missed a beat. Our wedding photo's are amazing and Christy is truly a professional who cares about each and every picture. More importantly, she cares about her clients. Lynn and I would recommend Christy to anyone considering photographers for their wedding.

We chose Christy Transier Photography after one phone call. We had seen her website and thought her artistic talent was wonderful, so we called her. After talking to Christy for about five minutes I knew she was the photographer for us. She just put my mind at ease and explained what she would do on our wedding day, she did all that and more. She was so professional, creative, calming, and friendly. Christy had in her mind what she wanted to capture for us, but had no problem with changing up to accommodate our wants. At the ceremony and reception, I didn't even realize she was there. She was behind the scene getting great candids the entire time. She worked so hard for us, she even tore her flip-flop, but that didn't stop her either. I have just recently received the pictures and we just love them! I would highly recommend Christy Transier Photography for anyone who is wanting high quality, artistic, beautiful pictures

We chose Christy Transier Photography for our wedding in Key West and could not have had a better photographer. Christy was so fun to work with and helped us with us in all facets of our celebration. She acquired extraordinary candid shots of us, our friends and family, and utilized the unique property we were celebrating at perfectly. Although we did not ask her to do so ahead of time, she captured much of the preparation activities prior to the ceremony. Christy took a mixture of traditional and untraditional photographs. She unsuspectingly captured intimate moments between us (the bride and groom) and of us individually with our friends and family. Moments where you remember that exact point in time, allowing us to cherish the night forever.
We had our wedding in June, and despite the very hot and humid conditions, Christy managed to make us look great. The photos turned out exponentially better than we could have imagined. She provided us with a slideshow set to music, which told the story of the night beautifully …great photojournalism!

My husband and I used Christy as a photographer for our destination wedding in Key West. Our pictures were wonderful, Christy couldn't have done a better job, we've received so many compliments from family and friends. Not only were our pictures great, but Christy was so easy to work with and very professional. We also were extremely happy with the short amount of time she took to give us our pictures. We used Chrisy for some family pictures on the beach! The pictures were great and so was working with her as our photographer! She makes you feel very comfortable and pays attention to what you want..great for any bride. We plan to use her for our yearly family pictures in key west.....our yearly family vacation destination! I would recommend her highly! She is also great to work with after the pictures are taken making sure you are happy and you get what you want!!

Christy Transier was my wedding photographer this past February. She jumped in right away, made herself feel comfortable and was able to get all the important shots without needing any direction. I didn't need to worry about a thing with her, she was a total professional 100% of the way; the peace of mind was invaluable! Not only did we enjoy her company and her creative abilities, but she was extremely efficient. Christy got my wedding pictures back to me quicker than anybody I've ever know. Once my family and friends were able to view the pictures, I received nothing but compliments on Christy's photos. She did a great job, produced great pictures at a great price, cant beat it!

My fiance and I had decided to do a detination wedding and travel from cold MN to what should have been warm Key West in Feb. The weather was a bit chilly, but our dealings with Christy were nothing but warm, calming and positive.

Christy knows how to deal with stressed out brides, families and knows how to get beautiful shots in the midst of what can feel to a bride like chaos. We were married at the Hemingway House and Christy knew just when the lighting would be perfect for our photos and where the best shots would be. Both my new husband and I are uncomfortable taking a lot of pictures and Christy put us both at ease, giving us simple direction, and catching those in between moments that turn out beautifully. She worked fast, professionally and even took those photos that I forgot to ask her to take.
I would highly recommend Christy to anyone I know and I wish I could have taken her back to MN with me for future events!

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Christy was amazing and went above and beyond what any normal photographer would do. She helped us find an officiant for the ceremony, suggested the location of our ceremony (which was gorgeous!), and answered every single question, big or small, within hours (and trust me, I had LOTS of questions about every little detail!)! Besides her helpfulness, Christy's photos turned out AMAZING! We couldn't be more pleased with the beautiful posed shots as well as the fun and creative non-traditional and candid shots she captured. You get so much for such an affordable price and her turn-around time is outstanding (Pictures were available for viewing 1 week after the wedding; disc of photos was at my house 2 weeks after). I cannot say enough good things about Christy and her fantastic work; I would highly recommend her to everyone!

Christy photographed our wedding in December at Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park in Key West, and I couldn't be happier with the photos! Christy was very flexible, professional and really fun to work with. Her creativity with some of the shots left us with a ton of beautiful pictures. I loved the fact that she provides a cd of all the photos so we can print the ones we want, whenever we want. I would recommend Transier photography to anyone who wants unique and beautiful pictures. Christy was awesome to work with. We couldn't have done better. The pictures turned out great and Christy was there for us every step of the way in planning. She made suggestions for officiants, location, and offered to help with any other planning. Michael Vernon was the officiant we chose (Key West) and he was also excellent to work with(thanks to Christy's suggestion).
Christy made sure we got all the pictures taken that we wanted and the pictures were ready two days later! We also really appreciate that she was willing to give us a copyright. It helped us save money in sending out pictures. She even made suggestions as to chosing a business to print our photos!

I had a small wedding in Marathon Key and couldn't be more pleased with our choice of photographer. Christy was very professional and her easy going personality put us at ease. Her photos did a wonderful job capturing us as well as the beautiful scenery, and she didn't stop shooting until she was sure we had all the shots we wanted. They were even ready for us to view and send to family and friends only two days after the wedding!

Christy did a fantastic job with our wedding photos! We both LOVE all of the prints...even though the weather was not cooperating that day!! Our wedding was running a little behind schedule and Christy was so nice and flexible with all of it! Never once did she seem to mind that we were putting her behind schedule... We just returned from a trip where we used Christy as our professional photographer. Not only was she professional and timely but she was always there to answer any questions I had prior to the shoot.

She made us feel comfortable and we had a lot of fun. She was also very quick in getting the photos edited and back to us. All of this for a really, really great price.

Brook and I wanted an intimate ceremony on a beautiful beach in Key West, Florida. We had visited once before but didnt know much about the area to make arrangements on our own. The most important aspect to us was that our pictures be beautiful and really depict the amazing surroundings and the love we have for each other. We were MORE than satisfied with Christy. She is an amazing photographer! She also helped us find a planner that assisted with all the other arrangements of the day. Christy is constantly in touch and puts your mind at ease. She went above and beyond the call on the day of the ceremony. Our ceremony was performed at Smathers Beach and during the ceremony and throughout the pictures we were being tortured by sand fleas. Christy was a trooper and didnt let that stand in here way of getting the perfect picture. I highly recommend her services, not only is she a great person that cares about what you want for your day but the end result is amazing. I have NEVER seen such beautiful photos in my life! Thank you so much Christy for being such an intricate part of an amazing day!

As an event manager myself; I was fairly easily disappointed with the quality of wedding/event planners I could find in the Florida Keys for a small intimate wedding on May 2nd, 2009. Our original goal was to marry at the resort we were staying at in the Keys. However the price was out of line, there was no flexibility and we were unable to wed on the day we chose.
I started resourcing the people we required to perform the ceremony. A photographer and an "officiant" was all we required. Christy was the first and only photographer to return my "original" contacts. I reviewed her web site and her capabilities were exemplified very accurately and professionally. After a couple of phone conversations I knew she was the photographer for us. We were looking for someone fun, creative and flexible. She fulfilled those characteristics and over-delivered on her responsibilities by suggesting the most suitable location for our wedding as well arranged for the introduction to an "Officiant" who was again the most suitable for our type of ceremony. Within a couple of phone calls, emails and text messages I accomplished more with Christy in creating our dreamy Keys wedding; then I did in a weeks worth of time and faxed contracts with the "Wedding Plannner" at our resort. We also saved ourselves 50% of the fees from what the resort offered. Our photos elegantly portray the beauty of the surroundings at Bahia-Honda State Park as well as the beauty of our ceremony. Christy delivered above and beyond - she under promised and over delivered. We received our CD from Christy in person the following week prior to our departure home. Our photos were on display at our reception in our hometwon the Saturday following our ceremony in beautiful clarity for our guests to appreciate the fun we had during our ceremony. Christy does great work, works hard and has a lot of fun doing so. Thanks Christy.

Christy hit it out of the park when she shot our sun rise wedding this last 4th of July on Smather’s beach in Key West, Florida. Her creativity and talent far surpassed our expectations. We had a very private wedding with just our officiant, Christy, my husband and I. Christy was very careful to make sure she did not comprise the intimacy that we wanted and at the same time was able to capture the love, fun and commitment we where exchanging. Most of the time we did not even know she was there on the beach with us, which we wanted and when we did, she was so easy to be with that we enjoyed her. She has an eye for editing and a talent for working with people. She is a true artist and should never put the camera down.

My wife and I were getting married in Key West and photographs were included as part of our package. However, we decided at the last minute to hire a second photographer a few hours prior our wedding to make sure we didn't miss the perfect shot. We contacted Christy with barely a one week notice to see if she could help us out. Not only was she able to fit us in, but she offered a great rate compared to others. She met us at our resort before the wedding and spent about an hour taking photos. We loved her photos! The ones she took were out favorites. We definitely recommend her for your photography needs!

I was beyond impressed with Christy and Transier Photography. The day of the wedding, Christy and her assistant showed up early with mentionable patience. The weather was brutally hot and some people’s patience were running thin, but Christy had an incredible way with people and managed to get everyone to cooperate. She took some amazing photos without being obtrusive and captured all the shots that we wanted. There were literally hundreds of pictures to choose from. All of our guests were impressed with the quality and clarity of her photographs. I would highly suggest Transier Photography to capture the moments of your “special day”! Thank you again, Christy!
