Jude and his team were an absolute dream to work with. During Covid, our wedding went through several iterations, and Jude was so, so helpful when it came to our MANY questions, last minute changes, etc. Having never thrown an event of this scale before, I had no idea what to expect in terms of alcohol needs, glassware rentals, staffing, etc. and Jude smoothly guided my husband and I through the whole process, offering helpful insight and suggestions that ultimately lead to an incredibly smooth day-of. The drinks were delicious, the service was professional and quick, and the whole day went off without a hitch thanks to Jude and his team! I'd absolutely recommend Top Shelf to anyone.

Jude and his crew were incredible. In the months leading up to the wedding, Jude answered all of our questions in a timely and kind manner. We had some last minute issues pop up with our venue which he helped us navigate successfully. Throughout the evening Jude and Heather were on top of everything - making sure we ate, bringing us champagne/desserts and managing shuttle buses back to the hotel for guests, etc. Honestly, if anything went wrong, we didn’t know! Jude and his team are very experienced, professional and they know everything and everyone in the Santa Barbara wedding scene.

Lastly, if the above isn’t enough to convince you to go with Top Shelf - they handled everything for us - coordinating, catering, bar service, dining rentals, etc. They are a one stop shop which was especially helpful for us planning our Santa Barbara Wedding from LA. Jude is so knowledgeable in his industry! He knows all the other vendors in Santa Barbara area, he knows all the venues, and he gives great advice! I highly recommend choosing him in general, but especially if you are having a Santa Barbara wedding because it is ideal to hire a wedding planner who is familiar with your venue. He will know how much space there is for things and he will be realistic with you about what will/will not work. Although he is technically a partial service wedding planner, he will do full-service things for you because he goes above-and-beyond to make sure his brides are happy. He even fought for a refund for us from a vendor that we ended up needing a refund from. It was great that he had a lot of "pull" with that vendor when they were trying to be difficult. I highly recommend hiring Jude as your wedding planner!
