The Westin Great Southern Columbus is a historic wedding venue located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Our Grand Ballroom is 125 years old and boasts original stained glass windows and Italian marble floors. Our venue combines modern charm with historical appeal to bring you a truly special place to say “I do”.
Our wedding packages are meant to be very inclusive of everything you will need, so there are no surprises or extras added at the end. Each package with room rental includes appetizers, a full bar, a plated dinner with your choice of meal selections, cake cutting, and champagne toast, all needed staff, china/ flatware/ glassware, tables/ gold chairs/ floor-length linens, as well as candle centerpieces, a complementary honeymoon suite the night of the wedding and a complimentary block of rooms for your guests at a low rate.
This venue is located in the heart of downtown Columbus, a few blocks away from German Village and just steps away from the scenic Scioto Mile Riverwalk. Here, you and your guests can be a part of the city while being the main attraction in our Grand Ballroom.

I love the look of the posh Westin Hotel. When I play a harp job there, I have good help from the time I drive up to the front door. The gentlemen greeters/porters ask how they can help and stand back if I say "this only I carry!" I'm particular with my expensive gold leaf harp, bench & stand. I've played for the Re-Grand Opening Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, Two weeks of High Tea following, many corporate events and also several weddings/cocktail hours.
