Facilities and Capacity

Our venue provides 200 bedrooms for your guests and plenty of large event spaces in total, spanning over 50,000 square feet, allowing you to host the grand celebration of your dreams. The botanical gardens with water features, a gazebo, and a dedicated patio are ideal for unique photos or an intimate ceremony with up to 50 guests. The Cherry Valley Hotel's most popular event location is the Woodhull Ballroom, which can host up to 350 guests. Other wedding spaces include the Library, the River Birch Ballroom, and the huge Ohio Event Center.

Not only is the lodge a beautiful place to stay with the garden the staff is courteous and professional and they made our day one to be remembered. The food was delicious, they kept within our budget for the ceremony, catering, bar and reception hall beautifully. Thank you too all of the staff and mostly to the coordinator. You were spectacular.

My sister in law works at CVL and she made reservations for us to stay there for 3 nights as our honeymoon. On our wedding night we called to make sure our room was ready, it wasn't. They had cancelled our reservation because it was done through an employee and employee requests are the ones bumped off if they overbook. So we stayed at Coshocton Village Inn and Suites for our wedding night. Went to CVL the next day and talked to a manager about the situation. He told us he understood we were upset and told us that they'd like to make it up to us. So they gave us 2 nights there for free. Our suite overlooked the courtyard and it was very beautiful. We had an amazing time there!

My husband and I had literally a 'fairy tale' wedding at Cherry Valley Lodge. We had our ceremony take place on the gazebo, and while it was hot outside, it was beautiful. Probably the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended--and I'm not just saying that b/c it was mine! We had friends who had just thrown their daughter a wedding attend ours, and they agreed, it was a beautiful ceremony, beautiful setting, and everything was perfect.

They also provided the food for the reception. Which was delicious. They had a buffet style reception and we had many options for the food choices for guests.

We planned our wedding mostly long distance from California and Texas and CVL was great every step of the way. It was nice for us to have the wedding outside and have the reception at the same place. We did our photographs on the grounds and they are absolutely beautiful. The food was good--better than hotel banquet food has a right to be. Our party stayed at CVL, we had our rehearsal dinner there, and they recommended florists and bakeries in the area--one stop shopping at its best.

We had a great experience with CVL. Lynda, their event coordinator, was a dream to work with. I had thousands of questions and requests, and she handled them all with grace and friendliness. The staff was courteous and professional. We held both our ceremony and reception at CVL; everything went smoothly and perfectly. (I was, however, a very organized bride, so that might have had something to do with it.) There were a few times that Lynda did not get back to my father in a timely manner, and that upset him (since he was paying!) - however she had many weddings to deal with, so I do not hold that against them. The venue was beautiful and the food delicious. They were virtually at our beck and call. I could not be happier with the way everything worked out. It was very pricey, but the convenience of everything ended up being well worth the cost for us. Considering it took care of venue, food, table settings, alcohol, etc., it was priced fairly, I think. My out of town guests were very pleased (and they are hard to please). I highly recommend CVL!!!
