Wedding Venues in Newark

Not only is the lodge a beautiful place to stay with the garden the staff is courteous and professional and they made our day one to be remembered. The food was delicious, they kept within our budget for the ceremony, catering, bar and reception hall beautifully. Thank you too all of the staff and mostly to the coordinator. You were spectacular.

Beautiful vintage ballroom that has been recently updated, a hidden gem well worth the affordable cost. The staff is very helpful and the bartender is amazing. Our guests had a great time, and the venue was perfect for our Old Hollywood Glam theme.

I had the Wedding of my Dreams. Katy Gilmore, Catering Sales Mgr. was fabulous. She was kind, professional, and accommodating. Katy helped me plan our wedding from out of state. The the linens, chair covers, table decorations were beautiful. She provided me with cake, flower and entertainment providers since I was in Florida. Room accommodations were perfect for my out of town guests. Our room was wonderful upon arrival with a cheese and cracker plate along with our favorite beverage when we arrived. The food manager Vickie Tharp was also amazing. She made sure our guests were fed like royalty. The food we picked was also top notch. Our food but was superb. Before hand I told them my mom may need a little assistance since she was 85. We choose the buffet. My mother's plate was served directly to her table. She felt like a Queen because they told her she was the mother of the bride. She came up to me throughout the night and told me how they were treating her like royalty. That truly made my heart melt. After the wedding we also came back to our room to a bottle of champagne. I can go on and on how happy that I choose to have our wedding there. The convenience of being able to have everyone stay afterwards safely is a relief and fun. The downtown restaurants, and the Starbucks located at the hotel makes it so convenient to be nestled in the newly renovated Downtown Newark. Five Stars from the newly Mr. and Mrs.

We absolutely loved the Skylight! It was actually the 1st and only venue we looked at. We knew while touring that it would be perfect for us. We loved how antique and historic the building was but also elegant! Barb is absolutely amazing! She isn’t the best at responding through text so keep that in mind. Besides that she is awesome! She is such a sweet heart and sooo giving and understanding! She was always willing to help change or fix anything we needed or didn’t like and did it without a complaint! We 1000% recommend The Skylight❤️

We had our wedding at the Trout Club on 09.07.2024 and I can’t stop talking about how amazing our experience was! Amanda made our special day feel like a fairytale. The venue is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the staff is awesome. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding! 🤍 If you’re looking for a venue, definitely book at the Trout Club!

I can't express how in love I fell with Thirty One West! The venue is exquisite and it has all the historic charm and character a girl could ever dream of. Tom was a breeze to work with! I plan events for a living and was probably the most high strung bride he's ever dealt with and he put up with every meeting I asked for! We booked in October for our April wedding and it was the best decision we made. Thirty One West lets you pick all of your vendors including your caterer! That's seriously the best! We provided open bar for our family and bridal party. Tom came up with a way for that to work using wrist bands. We had about 130 people show up and it was comfortable no one was bumping into each other and chairs had plenty of space. Newark is darling, not only is the venue great but the surrounding streets make for amazing pictures! The balcony is beautiful and fully accessible. The ceremony space is historic and elegant and needs very little decorating. The stage has perfect up lighting for both your ceremony and reception and the sound system is open for your DJ to use. We were able to set up the day before and held our rehearsal dinner in the downstairs bar. Not being from Newark we were given awesome tips about local caterers for our dinner. It was such an easy process made even easier by Tom! This is a can't miss out on venue! The staff are professional, flexible, timely, accommodating, fun, have incredible personalities and will make your wedding everything you could have ever dreamed of and so, so much more!
