The open-air pavilion at the vineyards seats up to 250 guests and features a covered ceremony area, giving you the best of both worlds. It also comes with six restrooms, a catering kitchen and complete decor. You also have the option of choosing between five distinctive outdoor ceremony locations, each having their own natural beauty and unique perspective. There is a shaded grassy area under a beautiful old tree, a landscape that overlooks the herb gardens and two additional patios that have incomparable views. The honeymoon cottage features a stone patio that is perfect for a ceremony for up to 120 guests, a cocktail hour or a post wedding brunch. The venue also comes with a groom’s barn, which has comfortable seating, a full kitchen, a half bath, a TV and a variety of yard games.

The Dunkard Barn Lodge is a luxuriously restored barn offering a dramatic fireplace, five en suite bedrooms, a climate-controlled wine cellar and a kitchen with restaurant quality appliances. Each decorated bedroom has magnificent views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains, providing the utmost comfort for your guests. The venue also has a honeymoon cottage, a spacious loft that features a king bed, a living area, a renovated kitchenette and a stunning en suite bathroom and tub. It comes with an original 1900's wine cellar and a small enclosed back porch that leads down to the patio, offering a stunning atmosphere for the wedding night.

History
This lodge began its life in the 1820s as a barn in Pennsylvania before it was purchased, moved and reassembled in North Carolina. The Dunkard Barn, as it was known back then, was elegantly designed with modern conveniences in order to make it the unique facility that it is today.
