Amy and her team, including her husband were amazing. My wife and our families constantly were telling each other how they were worth every penny. From advocating for what we wanted during planning stages, to seeing our vision come to life and keeping everything running smoothly. When you tell her to do something, it gets done. Amy is absolutely wonderful. Prompt, hardworking, attention to detail, enthusiastic and every event she has helped us plan was flawless. The first event had to be downsized from 300 to 9. She did that so well that we ended doing two more events! If she says yes to work with you, you can relax.

I don't even know where to start other than if you are looking for the best wedding planner in the industry - Amy is it!!!! She is absolutely incredible at what she does and our special day went seamlessly because of her! She is extremely organized and was always one step ahead of me along the way! Where do I even begin!!!! The most common advice Ahmed and I would receive from past couples was to “enjoy your wedding”. This was our ultimate goal, however how could we truly accomplish this? How could we truly enjoy our moments with family and friends while ensuring that everything was running smoothly? This is where The Storybook Events kick in! Amy is such an amazing person to work with! She provided anything and everything we needed for our wedding week! We planned our wedding before the pandemic and when the pandemic hit, Amy put our needs ahead of everything else. No question was too big or small for Amy, and she constantly proved her dedication through numerous email correspondence with myself and my other vendors. We initially were planning a ~250 person fusion Indian wedding for May 2020. Due to COVID-19, 6 weeks before our wedding date, we made the difficult decision to proceed with our ceremony, but only with immediate family present. Amy was integral in making this happen. We were able to switch venues and have an intimate ceremony in the heart of downtown Houston. We could not have done this without Amy; throughout this process she had such a positive attitude and was receptive to all of our requests and changes. Everything went seamlessly and we couldn't have asked for more.

Goodness. I don't even know where to begin! Amy is OUTSTANDING. I mean, really, she is phenomenal. From the very beginning to the very end, she was there ensuring every detail was perfect (even when she didn't have to be!) She went above and beyond in catering to our every need and making our vision come to life. It is evident that she is well respected among vendors, and this is reflected in the way that they interact with her. She also does a great job with crowd management at each event, ensuring that guests are adhering to the set timeline. Amy is everything I needed, and it is because of her that our event was a success. It would not have been half of what it was without her. Hiring Amy and her team was the first and BEST decision we made during our wedding planning! We were referred to her by multiple friends who had nothing but glowing reviews. Indian weddings can be extremely stressful and take quite some time to plan. From the very beginning Mukti and Amy made Dhruvin and I feel comfortable and stress free. From every phone call, text message, and email everything was so professional and done on time. I remember after every phone conversation with Mukti or Amy I would say “I feel so much better after talking to you” they truly lifted the weight off my shoulders throughout the entire process. Any issues that came up while planning and during the actual events were automatically resolved right away without me even knowing. All of our events started on time and went so smoothly which is very rare in Indian weddings. Also one very important factor Dhruvin and I won’t forget is how they handled the photo groups on our wedding day, we only had a certain amount of time to take pictures but they took initiative and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted from BOTH sides of the family on time. I truly don’t know what I have done without Mukti and Amy and I’m super thankful for all the help they have given us with everything, I highly recommend The Storybook Event for your wedding planning needs they will not disappoint.
