We hired The PreNups for our wedding, and wow, were they fantastic! We loved working with Ed to plan the event. We exercised the options to add in a female vocalist and a trombone player, and it was totally worth it. The crew worked hard to learn our very specific first dance song (thank you!). Our guests were raving about the band the night of and in the days to follow. My only complaint was that the night went by too quickly. I now want to find other weddings and events where they are playing, so I can go dance to them again.

The Prenups performed at our wedding reception in a loft in the west village of Manhattan. Their set list set them apart from other options and was impossible not to dance to. It consisted of funky 60s rock, Motown, and classic rock and was miles apart from usual wedding band material which was precisely what we were looking for. The performance was excellent and would recommend them to anyone looking to make a statement with their music choice and hire a legitimate rock band over a cookie cutter wedding band.

Hands down, The Prunups were the best decision we made for our wedding day (aside from saying "I do" haha) I cannot begin to count the number of people who came up to us raving about the band and their selection of songs. Phrases like "I did not leave the dance floor once", "How did you find these guys?!", and "I wish they were at my wedding" were thrown around all night.

As for their professionalism and customer service, TOP NOTCH. Aaron from Lucy Music was communicative and really went above and beyond. He hopped on the phone with me several times to review logistics, custom options/add-ons, etc. And I really got the sense that he cared about the overall vibes of the wedding we we're looking for.

I also had the pleasure of working with Ed, the bass player/leader of The Prenups. Ed was nothing short of incredible. He worked with me throughout the entire planning process in order to ensure the band played everything how we envisioned. He ensured the band nailed the vibe depending on where we were in the night (soft instrumentals during the ceremony, an acoustic unplugged set during cocktail hour, and full on rock n' roll party during the reception). And by far the coolest thing Ed facilitated was allowing myself and my own bandmates to play a few songs dedicated to my wife. 'Did you have to bring all your equipment to your own wedding?' NOPE! Ed and the band were cool enough to let us borrow their stuff. Again, another example of the amazing customer service/dedication to making everything as easy for us as possible. Ed also learned 3 songs in the matter of 2 days for us as my bass player couldn't make the wedding!

The Prenups (via Lucy Music) were spectacular! They were amazing to work with leading up to our wedding and exceeded expectations on stage. It was hard to leave the dance floor and everyone raved about the music.

The Prenups are awesome - we knew we wanted them to be at our wedding from a prior wedding they played at, and we booked our date only after making sure they were free. Ed was so helpful with everything prior to the wedding - from planning the songs to the timelines, he was super flexible and very accommodating. They were even cool with my husband getting up on the drums to play some songs. I don't think the Prenups could have actually been any more accommodating! They are not your typical "wedding band" which is exactly what we wanted and they kept everyone dancing all night! I hope to be at a wedding where they are playing soon again!! Thanks Prenups!

If you are looking for an absolutely first-rate, supremely professional, and supremely ROCKING band for your wedding, look no further than The Prenups! Our guests have been raving about their performance for the past six months since our wedding. From our first contact, the guys and their management were super easy to work with, taking the time to get to know us as a couple and our likes/dislikes to truly tailor the music choices for our reception. On the big day, the guys did double duty as our ceremony and cocktail hour musicians as well, providing non-stop entertainment. The Prenups made my wedding day special and memorable, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

It's impossible to convey how great of a band The Prenups are. I've never seen a dance floor fill up so quickly and stay as packed as when they played at our wedding. The band read the crowd perfectly and set the tone for the whole night with a blend of Temptations, Rolling Stones, Ronettes, and J. Geils, among many others, that saw young and old people dancing side-by-side until the lights came back on. On top of all this, they were incredibly attentive and easy to talk to leading up to the wedding, even learning a handful of songs for us that, unsurprisingly, ended up sounding like something they'd been playing for decades. My wife and I, and countless guests, are now card-carrying members of The Prenups fan club, and cannot recommend them enough.

I knew I had some critics to impress when selecting a band for my wedding. My father-in-law and his friends, most of whom I had yet to meet, are a tough crowd and they would not settle for a simple wedding band. Knowing we wanted to hear predominantly Rolling Stones and Motown music, I stumbled across the Prenups. Like everyone told me, everything moves too fast on your wedding day and you barely remember it, but I will always remember people coming up to me telling me how much they loved the band and I knew they meant it. They played a ton of Rolling Stones, just like I asked and my favorite was "Changes" by David Bowie for the father/bride dance and the final song of the night. Brought the house down. I strongly recommend giving a look to The Prenups.

Hands down, my favorite part of the reception! The band rocked and had everyone, young and old, on the dance floor. Great feedback from our guests. The band can read and engage a crowd. If you want a party, the Prenups are the band for you! Working with them was great- both the band and manager made it clear what to expect before booking- this isn't your typical wedding band, they are a band in 'real life'. They know their sound and aren't going to play something they can't make work. And why would we want them to?! Ed was so helpful with everything from the playlist and even helping choose our important dance songs! And worked with us on some of our stranger requests. This band is bad ass and just cool dudes. If you like their music, book them and don't hesitate- you will not be disappointed.

The Prenups are nothing short of AMAZING! Seriously. My husband and I booked them for our wedding this summer and following the day of booking, Ed and the rest of the band were extremely responsive and helpful. Ed was a huge help in planning out the event flow and the band acted as our event Emcee which went seamlessly - they stuck to the schedule and filled in any lulls with a dance set. These guys are seriously talented and will turn your wedding into a concert and have EVERYONE on the dance floor! They are SO much fun. Our guests haven't stopped talking about these guys.
