I would suggest using this company for wedding planning! I was extremly happy with the service they provided. I chose partial wedding planning services and they we went above and beyond. First they found me vendors that fit my style and budget, they just did not send me a list. I was very pleased with that. I loved my wlecome package that included a hanger that said bride. I love those hangers! My sister got married last year and the wedding planner she used just gave her list and she had to go through the whole list to find the right vendors. My planner made sure I stayed in budget and ontime. They coordinated my rehearsal and wedding day perfectly. I must say I was really surprised at the level of care and personilization I received. In general I will be using them in the future for other events I plan and my sister is kicking herself that she did not use them. The Occasion ROCKS!

My siblings and I used this company for my parents vowel renewal. We did full service planning. I was very pleased and confident that I made the right decision using them as soon as I booked with them. I was not in state during the planning process and I was nervous about that but they took away all the stress and handled every detail. They treated my mom great and tailored their welcome package for her. Summer told me she wanted my mom to have the wedding that she never had. We were on a tight budget and they managed stay with in our budget. This is because they had everything we needed for the ceremony and reception. My daughter used The Occasion for her wedding just this Saturday. I have to say that at first I did not see the need for a wedding planner, but after yesterday I see why Elizabeth chose this company. Her planner as well as the assistant were right on point with what my daughter wanted for her wedding. My daughters wedding went smoothly and on time. Also my daughter managed to stay close to budget and that was had alot to do with her planner. The Occasion is located in NC but this wedding was in VA Beach VA but they were here for everything my daughter needed. I was very pleased with their services and my daughter was elated. She had her special day the way she wanted it and the planners at The Occasion took as much stress of her as they could by doing what they promised and more. I feel they went above and beyond!
