We got married here on 7/25/15. Everything was perfect. The venue is wonderful! The views are simply spectacular. Penny is so helpful and accommodating with special requests. She handles all the rentals and set up which takes away all the worry! She is a pro! Highly recommend this venue!

Amazingly wonderful setting, very good food. So glad that I worked with Penny Barabe of the Mooring, and Island Caterers. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful venue

I got married here in September 2023. The place itself is like a dream and you can only experience it in person to really appreciate the view and peacefulness of this spot. It’s beautiful and quaint. The food provided by the Inn for breakfast as well as the meal for the wedding was 10/10. We had lobsters for dinner that were caught right in the gulf of the property. Best lobster I ever had. The wait staff was also excellent and super nice and helpful setting up on the day of the wedding. The owners are great with food, setup and cleanliness. My only things were I had wished they had another person to help plan the wedding over the 10 months leading up to it, as the owners are busy people. We also had obviously rented out the whole inn for the weekend of the wedding, as it’s only 5 rooms and not too large, and I just felt hovered over during my stay. I would’ve appreciated more personal space. The bedside manners and professionalism could be worked on, but I’m also from Boston Mass, I’m not a rural Maine native, so I could just be used to something different. The combination of a few little things would have made my stay less stressful, but overall it was a nice weekend and the wedding itself was executed perfectly and it turned out to be an amazing wedding day.
