From the energy they bring to every song to the way they read the crowd so naturally, they create an atmosphere that is unforgettable. The Mike Dalton band was everything we hoped for plus more. We wanted our wedding to focus on keeping our friends and family dancing and having a blast on the dance floor all night and that's exactly what happened! Mike is very professional and was with us through the whole process for the last year leading up to the final day. Also the DJ that Mike brought with him was great and a great MC. It's the total package, amazing drums, a killer brass section that killed a Clarence Clemons solo, a wonderful female vocalist who crushed Fleetwood Mac and of course Mike rippin guitar solos and singing the whole night. The Mike Dalton Band did a wonderful job at our wedding! Mike was incredibly easy to work with in the run-up to the big day. He was very responsive and implemented all our special requests. On the day of, the band kept the dancefloor full the entire night. The horns section was especially a highlight that we received a lot of positive guest comments about. We also loved that he provided a DJ/Emcee who did a great job keeping the night flowing. Could not recommend higher.

Wow, do they know how to put on a show! We found Mike through our family members wedding, to which we followed him to a performance at Martell’s. We knew instantly that we needed to bring his magic to life on our wedding day. Mike and his team made our night absolutely flawless. The Mike Dalton Band was AMAZING! They brought the best energy and had everyone hyped and dancing the whole night - our guests didn't leave the dance floor! They played a ton of classic hits, but not your average "classic wedding songs" which we LOVED! Everyone raved about them and couldn't get enough. We didn't want the night to end! They were also so professional and kind, they worked so well with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted - an epic party!! We recommend to anyone and everyone - you won't be disappointed!

It has been over two months since our wedding and the #1 comment we hear from guests to this day is "the band was amazing!"

When planning a wedding, you can't have every single thing that you want (unless you have an unlimited budget of course), so you have to pick and choose what you care about. We REALLY cared about the music. It was really important to us to have a great band and a lively dance floor. The Mike Dalton Band did exactly that. They were unbelievable. They brought the energy of a night out on the Jersey Shore - what's better than that?? I often go to weddings where young people are on the dance floor and older people are sitting and watching - we didn't want that. The Mike Dalton band has such an awesome selection of music - every single person was on the dancefloor.

I also want to emphasize that Mike is an awesome person to work with. Planning a wedding is a huge deal and I think it's so important to pick vendors that you like and are easy to work with. Mike was extremely responsive and accommodating through the entire process. I highly recommend his band to any couple.

We originally booked the Mike Dalton Band in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. When our wedding was postponed, Mike was flexible and accommodating. We finally had our wedding in December 2021 and the Mike Dalton Band was great - between the band and DJ, there was a great variety of music, our guests danced all night, and we received so many compliments on the band. One of our guests even inquired about booking them for their upcoming event. Everyone had a great night - some of my favorite moments were our first dance, sung by Mike, and everyone dancing to the crowd favorites.

We had the “lovely” experience of planning/rescheduling a wedding during the pandemic which is stressful enough on it’s own, but with certain vendors can be a nightmare. We originally planned to get married in June of 2020 in Asbury Park, but were forced to reschedule 5x over the next 1.5 years and our band being our most expensive vendor, was one of our top priorities and during each of these date changes. Mike himself was in constant contact with me, answering pretty much immediately every time we reached out and made the rescheduling as seamless as it could be. Extenuating circumstances caused us to have to cancel our contract with our Asbury Park venue and we decided to have it closer to our home in NYC. Mike was very understanding throughout the move and was very accommodating despite the travel they now had to do as a Jersey Shore band. Our newest date was for December of 2021 and Mike as well as his DJ reached out to me several times leading up to the event to make sure we were all good and to update our requests and schedules. With NYC now having a vaccine mandate for all restaurants and catered events, we were worried this might cause some issues with the band seeing as New Jersey does not have a mandate. But once again Mike went above and beyond to immediately assure me that he was going to make it work. After a few days he was able to get an entire 10 piece band able to satisfy all requirements, and make sure that everyone would feel comfortable and safe. At this point they could have performed terribly on our day and I still would have been grateful enough for their understanding, empathy and great communication during COVID, but of course they were amazing and facilitated a wild and crazy dance floor necessary for our crazy and wild families. After the wedding all of our guests wouldn’t stop talking about how great the band was and how much fun they all had. If you are at all worried about the craziness of COVID or locking in any vendors I would highly recommend Mike Dalton Band as I don’t think we would have been able to make our day finally happen without them.
