Best Wedding Venue in Chicago
The Lytle House was the perfect venue for our summer wedding.
The owners, Michelle and Robyn, stood out from the rest from day one. They got to know us and helped guide us through the entire process. Our goal was to keep things fairly simple, but high-quality. They took our general ideas and helped craft the perfect atmosphere for our wedding reception.
The day of the wedding reception, Michelle knocked it out of the park getting the flowers, photos, sound system, and other decorations all set up. We also hired Michelle to handle our photography and she did a phenomenal job with that, as well.
It was a blast watching our guests walk in and say, "Wow... this place is incredible! I had no idea this was here!"
The Lytle House really is a special hideaway in the city, and we'll be recommending it to friends and family every chance we get.

A Magical Experience
We are so happy that we decided to host our wedding at The Lytle House— it was the perfect size for a small wedding with our closest friends and family, and we continue to receive compliments about our big day! 🥰
The venue itself is beautiful, offering indoor and outdoor settings for our mid-September wedding, which allowed us to perform our ceremony and have cocktail hour in the garden, followed by our dinner and reception indoors.
The owners, Robyn and Michelle, went above and beyond to make sure everything was executed to my very specific groomzilla 🤵🏻♂️🦖 vision. When we arrived at the venue, I was instantly brought to tears seeing how it all came together. 🥹 #Stunning.

Get married here! It's cool!
When we saw the Lytle House online during our venue search we knew it had to be the place we got married! Robyn and Michelle were so welcoming and really helped our day go off without a lick of stress! The space is gorgeous and changes personalities from day to night- both equally beautiful.
The ease of planning our wedding was very much thanks to the Lytles. They recommended vendors they love working with, gave suggestions for ways to use the space, and pointed me in the direction for little decor items we wanted. I cannot thank them enough!

Elegance without Sacrificing Quality
My husband and I had decided to do a five-year anniversary vow renewal, in the presence of our baby and family and friends. I started reaching out to Robyn when I was newly postpartum. I knew at first glance that the space was exactly what I wanted, but I didn’t know the type of ceremony I wanted or the size. Throughout all of my mind changes, Robyn was patient and flexible.
On the day of the wedding, she created our table setting, which I still fawn over through our photographs. She was our day-of coordinator and executed flawlessly. When there was a hiccup due to delayed guests, she and her wife, Michelle, stayed flexible and helped keep me stay calm, while I stressed about starting the ceremony late.
If I had a 10-year anniversary vow renewal, I would, without a doubt, book The Lytle House. Thank you for the best time and for being the best vendors in Chicago.

The most intimate, accepting, elegant and intentional space!
Not only is The Lytle House aesthetically stunning, filled with modern and elegant details curated by local craftsmen, LOVE, and high design eye, but Robyn and Michelle are the dream team to work with! They ensured that we could create the wedding of our dreams by providing multiple consultations, answering all questions timely, celebrating our ideas, and providing day-of-coordination including setting up decor, coordinating vendors, and meticulously following every request from us as the couple. As a queer couple, we felt nothing but love, respect, and celebration from the hosts of the space, making the night that much more special! Additionally, they referred us to our DJ (Gold Noise) and caterer (Amazing Edibles) - which whom they work often, allowing the night to run smoothly and with great communication among vendors. 1000000/10 stars! We love Robyn and Michelle!!!!!

Perfect wedding venue
We were so lucky to have had our intimate wedding at the Lytle House! This place is a true hidden gem in Chicago. We got nothing but compliments from our guests on what a unique venue it was (in a good way!!). The space is gorgeous — photos do not do it justice — perfect if you are looking for a garden or industrial style vibe. We particularly loved the outdoor space, it’s colorful and tastefully designed and doesn’t require additional decor to make it beautiful. The owners, Robyn and Michelle, are fantastic to work with. You can tell they have poured their hearts into the space and find joy in watching couples celebrate their happiest moments there. Thank you for making the wedding of our dreams possible!

Amazing!! It was the perfect venue for an intimate wedding.
We had our wedding reception at the Lytle House. It was everything we had hoped it would be. The venue is gorgeous. Everybody raved about it. It felt like a little oasis in the city. But the star is really Robyn the venue owner/coordinator. She could not have been more amazing to work with. She gave us a lot of guidance early on and continued to help with planning details in the last few weeks. She also operates as the on-site coordinator during the event. From helping to set up our tables to making sure that the night ran smoothly we cannot say enough about her. Do not look any further than this venue for an intimate party or wedding ceremony/reception!

The best venue in Chicago
Lytle House is truly a hidden gem. We really wanted to have a wedding in the city and be able to be outside, and Lytle House helped make our dream a reality. The space is absolutely gorgeous and Robyn and Michelle are such a delight to work with. They made what could have been a difficult experience planning a wedding during a pandemic a total breeze, and they hooked us up with catering and DJ vendors that helped make our event a success. They went above and beyond to make sure the venue was set up perfectly and were super flexible with dropping off and picking up, making our weekend stress-free. I cannot recommend Lytle House enough!
