  A Magical Experience

  We are so happy that we decided to host our wedding at The Lytle House— it was the perfect size for a small wedding with our closest friends and family, and we continue to receive compliments about our big day! 🥰
  
  The venue itself is beautiful, offering indoor and outdoor settings for our mid-September wedding, which allowed us to perform our ceremony and have cocktail hour in the garden, followed by our dinner and reception indoors.
  
  The owners, Robyn and Michelle, went above and beyond to make sure everything was executed to my very specific groomzilla 🤵🏻‍♂️🦖 vision. When we arrived at the venue, I was instantly brought to tears seeing how it all came together. 🥹 #Stunning.
  
  Thank you again for your responsiveness, vendor recommendations, day of coordination, and inclusivity which made for a magical experience. ✨🤵🏽‍♂️🤵🏻‍♂️✨

  Get married here! It's cool!

  When we saw the Lytle House online during our venue search we knew it had to be the place we got married! Robyn and Michelle were so welcoming and really helped our day go off without a lick of stress! The space is gorgeous and changes personalities from day to night- both equally beautiful.
  The ease of planning our wedding was very much thanks to the Lytles. They recommended vendors they love working with, gave suggestions for ways to use the space, and pointed me in the direction for little decor items we wanted. I cannot thank them enough!

  Elegance without Sacrificing Quality

  My husband and I had decided to do a five-year anniversary vow renewal, in the presence of our baby and family and friends. I started reaching out to Robyn when I was newly postpartum. I knew at first glance that the space was exactly what I wanted, but I didn’t know the type of ceremony I wanted or the size. Throughout all of my mind changes, Robyn was patient and flexible.
  
  On the day of the wedding, she created our table setting, which I still fawn over through our photographs. She was our day-of coordinator and executed flawlessly. When there was a hiccup due to delayed guests, she and her wife, Michelle, stayed flexible and helped keep me stay calm, while I stressed about starting the ceremony late.
  
  If I had a 10-year anniversary vow renewal, I would, without a doubt, book The Lytle House. Thank you for the best time and for being the best vendors in Chicago.

  Friendly, Accommodating, and Stress-Free Wedding!

  The Lytle House was perfect for our wedding! We loved the look and feel of the space, especially the outdoor decor. What really sold us was how stress free, available, and accommodating they made everything. That was a MAJOR stressor for us, and they made it easy. Happy to rate 5-stars. Thanks again!

  Not only is The Lytle House aesthetically stunning, filled with modern and elegant details curated by local craftsmen, LOVE, and high design eye, but Robyn and Michelle are the dream team to work with! They ensured that we could create the wedding of our dreams by providing multiple consultations, answering all questions timely, celebrating our ideas, and providing day-of-coordination including setting up decor, coordinating vendors, and meticulously following every request from us as the couple. As a queer couple, we felt nothing but love, respect, and celebration from the hosts of the space, making the night that much more special!   Perfect wedding venue

  We were so lucky to have had our intimate wedding at the Lytle House! This place is a true hidden gem in Chicago. We got nothing but compliments from our guests on what a unique venue it was (in a good way!!). The space is gorgeous — photos do not do it justice — perfect if you are looking for a garden or industrial style vibe. We particularly loved the outdoor space, it’s colorful and tastefully designed and doesn’t require additional decor to make it beautiful. The owners, Robyn and Michelle, are fantastic to work with. You can tell they have poured their hearts into the space and find joy in watching couples celebrate their happiest moments there. Thank you for making the wedding of our dreams possible!

  Amazing!! It was the perfect venue for an intimate wedding.

  We had our wedding reception at the Lytle House. It was everything we had hoped it would be. The venue is gorgeous. Everybody raved about it. It felt like a little oasis in the city. But the star is really Robyn the venue owner/coordinator. She could not have been more amazing to work with. She gave us a lot of guidance early on and continued to help with planning details in the last few weeks. She also operates as the on-site coordinator during the event.   The best venue in Chicago

  Lytle House is truly a hidden gem. We really wanted to have a wedding in the city and be able to be outside, and Lytle House helped make our dream a reality. The space is absolutely gorgeous and Robyn and Michelle are such a delight to work with. They made what could have been a difficult experience planning a wedding during a pandemic a total breeze, and they hooked us up with catering and DJ vendors that helped make our event a success. They went above and beyond to make sure the venue was set up perfectly and were super flexible with dropping off and picking up, making our weekend stress-free. I cannot recommend Lytle House enough!

  Perfect oasis in the city

  If you're looking to host a smaller wedding, there's literally no better place than the Lytle House. It looks like a dream - from the beautiful, colorful mural and ivy-covered walls in the courtyard, to the white-washed brick and hand-crafted tables inside, it feels completely intimate, warm, and full of character. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how perfect of a space it was. I've seen a lot of people call it an "oasis," and it really is. On top of all that, working with Robyn and Michelle couldn't have been easier. Robyn was so responsive and went way above and beyond answering all my silly questions, and coordinated/set-up everything on the day of so we never had to worry about a thing. We used Michelle as our photographer, and she was equally as wonderful - hilarious and fun to hang out with for an afternoon, commanded the room when she needed to, got smiles when she needed to, knew exactly where to be to get the right shots without anyone realizing she was even there - and the pictures turned out fantastic. I could go on and on. You'll be sad when you're wedding's over because you don't get to interact with these awesome ladies. Robyn & Michelle - hit us up if you want to hang. ;)

  We had an incredible experience getting married at Lytle House in May, 2021! The venue itself is stunning. It’s a little sanctuary inside the city. You don’t need much decor since the venue provides so much. We loved the fact that it had ample indoor and outdoor space which is rare for smaller venues in the city. It’s simply magical! Robyn, the owner of the venue, is wonderful to work with. Our wedding was postponed a year and she provided a calm and knowledgeable presence. She was extremely responsive in all communication. Robyn has great relationships with other vendors which very much helped in the process of figuring out the rest of the vendor team.

  Incredible place for our wedding!

  We booked The Lytle House over two years ago for our wedding on 10/10/2020. Robyn is an absolute pleasure to work with, and she was extremely helpful and flexible as we had to adjust our planning due to COVID-19. The space is so gorgeous, inside and also outside in the courtyard. The mural in the courtyard was an incredible backdrop to our photobooth, and we had our ceremony in front of the ivy covered wall inside the gate. It was an absolutely perfect day, and having Robyn coordinate with our vendors and help set up the décor we brought made the entire day feel seamless and effortless (even though I know the vendors were super busy getting everything set up during the day). Anyone who is looking to have a smaller (80 or less) gathering or celebration could do no better than have it at The Lytle House, it is truly a special place.

  Great unique venue

  We are thrilled we chose Lytle House as our wedding venue. Robyn was very helpful in planning and responded to any question very quickly. The vibe of the venue is fantastic! Many of our guests commented that it was one of the best venues they've ever been to.

  Great venue for intimate wedding

  The lytle house is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding! The indoor/outdoor flow of the venue is exactly what we were looking for. It has a modern feel but is still inviting and has lots of greenery. The venue is a wedding photographers dream!
