There are places that feed your soul. That clear your mind. That bring you back to what is really important. For us, that place is Vashon Island.

The Lodges on Vashon is the only true hotel on Vashon Island with 16 freestanding lodges that sleep two to four people. The Lodges features two communal spaces, the Public House and the Pavilion, featuring a design that marries the best of minimalism and eclecticism, and invite guests to gather for a shared experience.

The Basics:

We have 16 lodges: Eight sleep a couple, in one king-sized bed, and eight sleep a couple and 2 people, in one king-sized bed and two twin beds. Both room types offer either a deep soaking tub, or an oversized shower. Nine of our lodges are pet friendly. Total overnight occupancy is 48.

Full-property buyouts (all 16 lodges) from May through September 2020, include the use of our public spaces in their day to day set up; we require a two-night minimum for weekend full-property buyouts.

We offer a 10 percent discount on room nights for a full-property buyout with the use of a wedding planner, event planner or day-of coordinator. Please provide us their DBA and license number.

Event Venue site fee for events with a full property buyout that will include additional guests not staying on the property, catering, additional seating/set-up. May-September 2020

• $850 for Pavilion/Public House area
• $350 for Pergola area

We have 75 varnished wooden folding chairs.

Public House and Pavilion use (10am to 10pm): These spaces are included in a full-property buyout, however, there will be an Event Venue site fee, outlined above, should the group hold an event on-site that will require additional seating, a change in our standard furniture layout in the Public House or Pavilion, or need catering on-site.

Cottage event space rental (10am to 2am)

• Fridays and Saturdays, May-September 2020 = $650 per day (50 percent discount for full-property buyouts)
• Sundays through Thursdays, May-September 2020 = $350 per day (50 percent discount for full-property buyouts)

The Cottage is an event space, maximum capacity of 45, located on the same property as The Lodges, but distant from the lodging and close residential neighbors. It is most often used for corporate meetings/ retreats, event staging, small gatherings, bridal party dressing room or an after-hours party space. The Cottage is not close to our neighbors or the lodges, so guests can continue the fun after our 10pm quiet hours go into effect for the primary section of the property.

You may self-cater or use a licensed caterer of your choice for your event.

If you wish to provide your own alcohol to guests not staying on-site, you will need to obtain a banquet permit available online through the Washington State Liquor Board. The same goes for cannabis. We have a liquor license and offer our “Mini Bar” (a mobile cocktail bar) with a bartender for $30 per hour, plus the cost of liquor from our beverage list.

PA System Rental: Includes six channels/inputs, including two speakers and stands, two microphones, two microphone stands and corresponding cables. The PA rental fee including setup and breakdown is $150/day.

We will add an additional $50 if you need it moved during the evening to another site.

Deposits and cancellations:

For a group reservation to be confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of 25 percent of the full stay, including tax, is required, along with a signed contract and credit card authorization form. Reservations cancelled before two months prior to arrival date incur a $1000 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled after two months prior to arrival date incur the full stay, including tax.
