Wedding weekend
They only do 1 wedding on a weekend. We were able to use different rooms for the rehearsal and post wedding brunch.
The wedding cottage was a great place for everyone to get ready in, it was complete with 3 hair and makeup stations, refrigerator, plenty of places to sit. The food was great.
They were able to add rooms for our guests when requested.
Sarah was available and quickly responded to emails and voicemails.

A place that will always be special to us!
Another added bonus was The King & Prince serving as a central location throughout the weekend. Our families and bridesmaids stayed on-site, as did many guests. The location was very central for guests who rented AirbNbs or stayed at other hotels.
For context, we had 175 guests with food stations. The seating was tight, but Sarah made it work beautifully! We also had an outside wedding coordinator to manage the overall schedule since our ceremony was at a different location.
If you want to get married on SSI, The King & Prince is a wonderful place, and it will always be so special to my husband and me!

The King and Prince is one of our oldest and longest lasting relationships. We've been doing weddings and events there since the beginning, nearly 10 years ago. It also happens to be one of our favorites! Historic, elegant, classy, beautiful, and the friendlies staff you're ever likely to meet.
Island weddings with that southern charm.....fabbo venue with ocean front I DO to amazing ballroom celebrations!! Bonus is the amazing wedding team that the K & P puts together from the moment you take a tour of the venue to the food to the final send off.......WE LOVE working with this team!!
