The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going.  We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave.  They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exclusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!

We LOVED the Hook Club!!! They were great to work with and made the planning process so easy. They are able to cover so many songs and accommodated our special requests! And they brought the FUN! The ceremony, the cocktail hour funky trio and into the dancing - the whole night was epic thanks to the Hook Club!!!

The Hook Club was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Jesse and the team are incredibly organized and professional, but more importantly, they care about understanding your musical taste and the experience you want to create. In the months leading up to the wedding, they worked closely with us to refine that vision and then brought it to life in ways that completely exceeded our expectations.

Both my wife and I come from Caribbean families, and we had older relatives attending. We wanted to honor that with some Caribbean music, but I struggled to create a playlist that would satisfy everyone. Jesse listened, smiled, and said, “Don’t worry, we got you.” And they did. Midway through the night, the band launched into a live Caribbean set that wasn’t even on our list, but it was perfect. It was so nostalgic that even our older relatives with canes were on the dance floor.

That moment said it all: these guys truly know music, understand the formula for a great time, and make it their mission to elevate your vision. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Just book them. You won’t regret it.

We cannot speak more highly of our experience with The Hook Club for our wedding. We had the best time on the dance floor and our guests raved about the music and vibe at our wedding. It felt like we were back in New Orleans. It was also a pleasure to plan everything from booking to planning out the music/MC details. The custom excel makes it so easy and transparent. We cannot recommend Hook Club enough! Dan, Jesse, and their entire team are so nice and so easy to work with. Plus they are SUPER talented! They have so many songs to choose from, plus they are willing to work on any song requests you may have. We asked them to play the Notre Dame fight song and they did not disappoint. You know you have the best band when everyone is complimenting them long after your wedding. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding so special. Thank you!!

Even a week after the wedding, we still have guests coming up to us to tell us how amazing The Hook Club was! Everyone was up on their feet dancing the entire night - the set list they played was absolutely perfect. They were so welcoming to suggestions and custom song choices to make our day uniquely tailored to us. The entire planning process felt effortless with The Hook Club, and people of all ages were dancing for the entire setlist! Everything was executed perfectly, including our new orleans-style second line from ceremony to cocktail hour! We definitely recommend Hook Club for any event!! Thank you for everything, Hook Club!!

A million stars!!! This is THE wedding band to have. They helped us make our dreams a reality - from special songs to bangers we knew would light up the floor. The planning process was organized, fun and collaborative at every stage, and every guest couldn't stop talking about the band and how incredible they were. We're Hook Club fans for life.

Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception.

THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D.

The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment.

Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.
