Best Wedding Band Ever

From start to finish, The Hook Club (THC) was the best wedding band EVER. After initial phone calls with other bands, the decision was an easy one -- THC exuded joy, professionalism, and the flexibility needed to throw an amazing party. When we booked them they had just released their own app to streamline planning the music for our wedding. This detail made identifying the songs and moments we wanted SO EASY. Their process included an opportunity to identify specific requests that the band then learned JUST for us. They were incredibly collaborative through the entire planning process and made sure to give us tips and make suggestions when we were unsure.

Then came wedding day. Their ceremony music was absolutely gorgeous -- THC suggested certain pieces for this moment and they were without a doubt correct in their assessment. They nailed the processional songs and added to special moments for each person that processed. Then the reception. My gosh THC nailed the reception. From the entry songs, to the first dances, they nailed the timing and the moment. They were interactive -- on and off the dance floor, giving my husband and I moments to put on a show on the mic, danced with us, handed out tambourines. They BROUGHT the party. We had no less than 15 people tell us they were the best wedding band they had EVER seen. My husband and I LOVE to dance and we had been to other weddings where the dance floor felt sad and empty. Let me tell you - I don't think there was ANY possibility of not having a packed dance floor with THC. Even my parents said that their friends who HATE dancing were boogey-ing all night.

If you want a band that is going to bring joy, fun, professionalism, and absolutely banging vocals, please book THC. You will not regret it.

The Hook Club at the Foundry

From the moment we booked them, we knew we had made the right choice, but they still managed to exceed every expectation on our wedding day at The Foundry.

If you’re considering a DJ hybrid band, don’t let the “DJ” part fool you—this is every bit as much of a live band as a traditional wedding band. The DJ is simply another member of the band, and it gives them the ability to seamlessly incorporate instrumentals and songs that wouldn’t sound the same with only live instruments. It truly gave us the best of both worlds.

One of the most special moments of our day was having my 10-year-old brother play the piano as I walked down the aisle. I wasn’t sure if we’d be able to make it happen, but the band completely embraced the idea. They brought in their keyboard, set up the sound, and made sure everything worked perfectly. Jesse, the bandleader, even took the time to do a practice run with my brother beforehand so he knew exactly when to start and stop. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it meant the world to our family.

We had both a male and female vocalist, and they were absolutely incredible. There were multiple moments when I stepped outside the reception space and genuinely thought they were playing the original artist’s recording because the vocals sounded so unbelievably close to the originals. They were that good.

The musicians were incredibly talented, and the entire band was so interactive with our guests throughout the night. Since our wedding, so many of our guests have reached out specifically to tell us how amazing the music was. People are still talking about how incredible the band was, and that says everything.

We truly could not recommend Jesse and the entire band more. If you’re deciding between a traditional band, a DJ, or a DJ hybrid band, this is truly the best of all worlds. Their talent, professionalism, and willingness to make our vision come to life made them one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I would book them again in a heartbeat.

The KEY piece of our wedding success

From the moment I saw The Hook Club perform at another wedding years ago, I knew that one day I would have them at my own wedding. They were actually the very first vendor we booked, and we even based our wedding venue selection around their availability — that’s how incredible they are.

Since our wedding, we’ve received dozens of messages from guests asking about the band and telling us they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the energy never dropped for a second.

Dan and the entire team were unbelievable to work with. They accommodated some unique music requests and created the perfect blend of oldies and modern music that kept every generation on the dance floor. The DJ/band hybrid was such a game changer because they were able to play songs that many of our guests said they had never heard at weddings before.

They also provided violin music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, which was absolutely beautiful and such a highlight of the day. Every detail was handled perfectly, and their attention to detail throughout the entire process was truly unbelievable.

Best dj!

When planning our wedding, our top priority was the vibe on the dance floor. We, and our friends, wanted to RIP IT dancing until the last possible second. Our planner pointed us toward DJ A Ball + The Hook Club and we never looked back. MC Jesse got and kept everyone pumped up, and we intrinsically trusted DJ Ash to read the room and keep the energy right where it needed to be. And, THC gave us so much room to customize our experience. We’re both music heads, and we had a lot of very specific, queer, sentimental song requests. We came away from our wedding truly feeling like we had the best DJ of any wedding we’ve ever been to.

The hook club is everything!

The Hook Club is truly as good as it gets! Their communication, professionalism, attention to detail and talent are unmatched! THC, making our wedding dreams come true

The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exclusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!

August Wedding

We LOVED the Hook Club!!! They were great to work with and made the planning process so easy. They are able to cover so many songs and accommodated our special requests! And they brought the FUN! The Hook Club absolutely delivered!

The Hook Club was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Jesse and the team are incredibly organized and professional, but more importantly, they care about understanding your musical taste and the experience you want to create. In the months leading up to the wedding, they worked closely with us to refine that vision and then brought it to life in ways that completely exceeded our expectations.

Both my wife and I come from Caribbean families, and we had older relatives attending. We wanted to honor that with some Caribbean music, but I struggled to create a playlist that would satisfy everyone. Jesse listened, smiled, and said, “Don’t worry, we got you.” And they did. Midway through the night, the band launched into a live Caribbean set that wasn’t even on our list, but it was perfect. It was so nostalgic that even our older relatives with canes were on the dance floor.

That moment said it all: these guys truly know music, understand the formula for a great time, and make it their mission to elevate your vision. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Just book them. You won’t regret it.

Best wedding band of all time!!!

We cannot speak more highly of our experience with The Hook Club for our wedding. We had the best time on the dance floor and our guests raved about the music and vibe at our wedding. It felt like we were back in New Orleans. It was also a pleasure to plan everything from booking to planning out the music/MC details. The custom excel makes it so easy and transparent. Jesse even went above and beyond to meet with our family to learn/discuss special song requests. All of our special requests, events, and Jewish songs were executed perfectly. Amazing Band!!

Even a week after the wedding, we still have guests coming up to us to tell us how amazing The Hook Club was! Everyone was up on their feet dancing the entire night - the set list they played was absolutely perfect. They were so welcoming to suggestions and custom song choices to make our day uniquely tailored to us. The entire planning process felt effortless with The Hook Club, and people of all ages were dancing for the entire setlist! Best decision, worth planning around - our guests can't stop raving about The Hook Club!

If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would!

Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception.

THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D.

The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment.

Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.

We love THC!!!

We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!

Best MUSIC ever for your wedding, hands down

The Hook Club was the best music decision - we were so torn between band or DJ and this was awesome!! We got so many compliments from guests at the end of the night on the music and the emcee - Emily - who absolutely was amazing!!! They were SO helpful and made the night so much fun. The drums and sax killed it!! We can’t thank them enough. The whole process working with them was so much fun - they are so organized and detailed and Dan helped with beyond we expected, from the itinerary to the timing of the whole thing. We had no idea what we were doing and Dan and Emily just helped so much in guiding us and making us feel comfortable. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!

Incredible experience working with The Hook Club

We couldn't have been happier with The Hook Club's performance at our wedding! From start to finish, they were absolute professionals. Hire the hook club

We had our wedding on 10/4/24, and hiring The Hook Club was hands-down one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we reached out, they were a dream to work with—so organized, professional, and easygoing. Planning with them felt effortless, and they really took the time to understand the vibe we wanted for our big day.

But the night of the wedding? WOW. They blew us (and all of our guests) away. Their energy was absolutely insane—in the best way possible! They didn’t just play music; they brought the party to life. They were incredibly friendly, super interactive with our guests, and made everyone feel like they were part of the show. It was exactly what we were hoping for and more.

We just got sneak peeks back from our photographer, and there are so many incredible shots with the band in them. You can literally see the energy radiating off the photos—people dancing, smiling, and having the time of their lives. The pictures capture how electric the night felt, with The Hook Club right at the center of it all. It’s clear from those images alone how special they made our wedding.

We’ve lost count of how many people have told us they were the best band they’ve ever seen at a wedding. Friends and family keep asking us, “Where did you find them?!” because they were that good. Honestly, now we just want more of our friends to get married so we can tell them to book The Hook Club.

If you want everyone to dance and have the time of their life....

We we're blown away by the Hook Club. Multiple guests came up to me afterwards to say how awesome the band was. My wife and I knew wanted a hybrid Band/DJ situation, and if you're looking for that, absolutely go with the Hook Club. It truly blurs the lines of live performance and studio quality. Sometimes you need a live sax, and sometimes you need the bouncy synths of a Beyonce song. Have you ever wanted to hear 50 Cent's In da Club with live horns? Its perfect for a wedding. A highlight of our wedding!

Hiring the Hook Club was a huge reason our wedding was so successful. They brought amazing energy, a killer set list, and all of our guests raved about how talented they were. We hired a fiddle player for our ceremony and the jazz trio for our cocktail hour and were so happy with this decision – they really knocked it out of the park.

Dan was a pleasure to work with throughout the process – he was professional, communicative, and gave us invaluable advice throughout the process. For example, he gave very helpful input on our reception structure and timeline.

My Goodness

There are wedding bands, and then there’s The Hook Club. The minute we heard them at one of their showcase experiences we knew we had found the purveyors of soul and energy that we were looking for.

The Hook Club played a major role in making our wedding reception an unforgettable celebration. The energy they brought was simply electric and it’s no surprise that we received countless compliments from friends and family about how much fun they had.

The band was engaging and created a vibrant atmosphere on the dance floor. Beyond their music the band also left us fun messages on our audio guestbook. This extra touch let us know that they aren’t just a band but a group that genuinely loves what they do and who they do it for.

Amazing night with THC

The Hook Club came highly recommended by our wedding venue and selecting them as our wedding band was one of our best choices! We opted for a six-piece classic band and then added 3 horn players a few weeks before our wedding (also a great choice). We had several meetings with Dan and other band members during the planning process, during which we went through their Music Planning Worksheet - an INCREDIBLE tool that allowed us to guide the set list and also helped us plan out our wedding day. We planned an unconventional parade-style disco processional and a few performances by guests and Dan worked with us to bring our vision to life. My dad, a veteran drummer who has played thousands of wedding gigs in his 5-decade career, had lots of questions for THC during the planning process, and they patiently worked with him to plan for him to sit in for a few songs. He was totally impressed with the band, especially the drummer, (and he’s hard to impress!) and loved playing with them. The dance floor was packed throughout the night with guests ranging from my 10-year-old cousins to our grandparents and great-aunts and -uncles in their late 80s. Our guests loved the energy of the band and the variety of styles that they were able to perform, way beyond the standard wedding playlist. Each musical moment of our wedding - the processional parade, ceremony and recessional music, cocktail hour playlist, the hora (during which the dancing moved outside and the band followed), our guests’ performances, and hours of amazing dancing - was absolutely seamless and perfect beyond our wildest dreams, thanks to The Hook Club.

EXTREMELY TALENTED, fun, unique, collaborative wedding band!!!!

The Hook Club is absolutely outstanding!!! They performed at our wedding this June and while we had high expectations, they completely exceeded them. My husband and I had a lot of special requests for classic rock songs and boy did THC execute everything! From Peter Frampton to Bowie to the Grateful Dead to Boston to the Talking Heads, the Hook Club flawlessly performs a massive range of music. Everyone was amazed and we are still getting rave reviews from our friends about how awesome the band was. Oh – and THC absolutely nailed DJing our silent disco after party. We wanted funk / groove / disco music and we got it. The video and photo footage of guests dancing all night is absolutely hilarious, the Hook Club brought wild moves out of everyone. Thank you SO much to this incredible band. We had the time of our lives at our reception and it is in HUGE part thanks to The Hook Club. If they are available on your wedding date, DEFINITELY HIRE THEM!!!

Must choose this band!

When my sister went to a wedding with THC a few years ago, she said that this was the most fun wedding she had ever been to and that was because of the band. She loved how they played songs that were special to the couple, that they interacted with the crowd and really had fun throughout the night! When it came time to planning my wedding, I knew I wanted to use them and not the typical NYC bands with no personality. We chose the 13 piece with horns. They were so friendly and organized with a massive, and well thought out setlist & planning sheet.

They were so great with our special and quirky (and some week-of last minute) requests and the guests loved the unique songs we chose because it made the party feel different than every other wedding. We loved that everyone in the band gets in with the crowd because they brought so much fun energy. It's been 2 weeks since the wedding and everyone keeps talking to us about the band! How they had so much personality, how they were enjoying themselves and how they carried the vibe of the night. I could not recommend them MORE!!!!!

The best band on earth

The Hook Club MADE MY WEDDING. I can't even count how many people came up to me asking where I found them and saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to. One friend even said " you have a concert at your wedding". It was the highlight of all of our nights and I am already looking for an excuse to hire The Hook Club Again! Truly the best

The Hook Club brought the most unbelievable energy to our wedding. Working with them was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We love you The Hook Club!

Have roughly 200 people showing up to your reception and want to guarantee that everyone from your aunts and uncles to your most particular friend all send you texts about how perfect your wedding band was? Great, you're done with your search.

We worked with The Hook Club on an ambitious two-day wedding, which included them doing live sound for our Friday welcome party, live sound for the music at our ceremony, some deep cut requests, and our desire to not just have "another wedding band." What we got was an incredibly talented, creative, and kind group of people who were ready to make whatever we wanted happen, ready to add ideas and layers, and who then completely blew away our expectations.

We're in that era of our lives where we've been to about 100 weddings in the last 10 years, and we can honestly say that no band has even come close to The Hook Club. A year later, everyone is still talking about how great our band was. They are incredibly talented and amazing people, and you should seriously consider booking your venue around whether or not THC is available. That's not hyperbole - they were that good.

Coolest wedding musicians you can find!

The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!

The best of all our vendors

Look no further than The Hook Club for your wedding band. We genuinely cannot say enough good things. Prior to the wedding, I researched and listened to a dozen or more bands. We kept coming back to THC because their online videos had an authentic, non-studio-enhanced sound that still beat out the quality of in-studio work from others. We really didn't want to take the final leap though until we could see them live. Dan was super-patient with us throughout the process, keeping us posted on when a showcase came down the pipeline. When we finally got to see them, it took about 2 songs to confirm they were the band for us.

On our big day, we had an 11-piece band after the bride's dad surprised us with an add-on fiddler. Having said this, the band had 14 or 15 different people making music over the course of the night, as even their sound engineers got in on the action at different times. Every style and tempo was phenomenal--from songs in Spanish to the Hora to Motown to pop, they nailed it all. My wife and I have different tastes in music, yet both came away immensely satisfied with the setlist. I can't even count how many of our guests came up to us throughout the night complimenting the band. On top of it all, they learned (at least) four special request songs--these were performed with the perfect balance of true to why we love the songs, but with that live-music spin on things.

THC was our favorite of all the vendors we worked with. Seriously--hire them now and save yourself time to plan the million other things on your list!

Phenomenal!

The Hook Club was an absolute gem on our special day! This review is wayyyy overdue. Planning our wedding day, we were nervous about music and entertainment for our guests and their kids. Dan and his team have made it a breeze, we love the idea of a hybrid band and DJ. They even had a mini performance for the kids at cocktail hour!!!! Our guest LOVE their “cocktail kids” hour. The music and the band were a cherry on too of our perfect day! We appreciate The Hook Club sooo much!

Fusion wedding - highlight of our reception!

The Hook Club was one of the highlights of our wedding! Our priority was to get a band that would get the crowd going, but still be able to play an eclectic mix of music. And they were just phenomenal!

Dan and his team were professional and organized throughout the whole process. We had so much going on the weeks leading up to the wedding, but Dan and his team were on top of it all, ensuring we had a game plan for our ceremony and reception. We felt so comfortable come wedding day as everything went smoothly as planned. We were impressed at the level of professionalism in accommodating our unique song requests, and even more impressed at the care put into pronouncing all of our Indian and Vietnamese relatives correctly. Run, don’t walk to work with The Hook Club!

We had a very specific vision for the type of music we wanted played during our ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding this past August (2023). We spoke to many vendors, and no one got it quite like The Hook Club (THC) did. Dan, Adam and the team MORE than delivered. Our only regret is that we did not get professional video coverage to be able to relive the moments!

As we were planning our wedding, we were on a quest to find a NYC-based string trio that could play modern music in an elegant fashion. Our goal was to find a group that could perform the type and quality of music heard on West World, Bridgerton, or from the Vitamin String Quartet. The Hook Club was just what we were looking for. The second we spoke to Dan, we knew we found our perfect match. I also wanted a specific/bespoke song for me to walk down the aisle to. THC took what was in my head and made it a reality. I still get goosebumps when I think about it!

THC took the time to understand our needs and delivered far beyond our expectations. They are true professionals who were one of the most talented, pleasant, responsive, communicative and accommodating vendors we got the privilege to work with. We cannot recommend them enough and are already clamoring for an opportunity to work with them again.

It’s impossible to properly convey how amazing it was to have The Hook Club as our wedding band. From start to finish, they were so great and fun to work with. Amazing - The Hook Club

We could not recommend the Hook Club more. They were great from planning the setlist through executing the day of the wedding. Our guests are still raving about them! Best Wedding Band Ever!

From start to finish, working with The Hook Club was an absolute joy and one of our favorite parts of our wedding! We communicated with Dan and Jesse prior to the event, and were so impressed by their enthusiasm, positivity, and creativity when it came to developing a set list for the ceremony, reception, and after party. Beautiful and extremely friendly NYC based band

My husband and I got married in Brooklyn, New York in Fall 2023. We quickly identified The Hook Club as our top choice because of their affordable prices and extremely customizable packages. Despite not having the largest budget, Dan and Adam worked to create exactly what we needed.

We had two different sets of instruments throughout the evening. For our ceremony, we had a violin, cello, and piano. The band then switched to a saxophone, bass, and piano for our cocktail hour and reception.

We honestly couldn't be happier with our choice. There were so many different songs to choose from, and the band are even willing to learn a song or two if you have a favorite that's not on the list! Communication was always so friendly and professional. We cannot recommend them enough!

Awesome DJ + Band Combo!

We were thrilled to have The Hook Club as our DJ band for our wedding. Their musical performance was an absolute highlight of our day. New Jersey Wedding Wonder String Duet

Dan was a wonderful person to work with when planning and executing our dream wedding plan. He was collaborative and curious and brought lots of ideas - and songs! to the table.
He met with us on several occasions during busy schedules and was a calm, prepared and informative influence on our chaotic journey to getting every final thing together for our big day.
One thing Dan was so open to which we will forever treasure was a collaboration with my brother to play the recessional on the day. We wanted a very specific song - John Denver’s Annie and without hesitation Dan made work, even talking my brother through his thoughts on the work as well as suggesting they play together during the cocktail hour too. Hands Down the Best Wedding Band for LGBTQ+ Weddings!

If you are reading this I have only one thing to say: HIRE THE HOOK CLUB! My husband and I had a very specific idea of what we wanted our music to be throughout the evening and The Hook Club met/exceeded our expectations on that count. Everyone commented on how much they loved the music. The energy was off the charts and guests appreciated how interactive the performers were. We also wanted to make the event as gay as possible and The Hook Club delivered by bringing along queer artists and being open to our non-traditional music requests. Opting for the DJ Band was unquestionably the right move as it allowed us to hit some more obscure requests with fantatsic live musical backing. The Hook Club rules!!

DO NOT HESITATE to book The Hook Club! Words cannot express how incredible their performance was... you had to be there. We had many musicians in the crowd who were blown away with the talent on the stage. Not only did they display excellent musicianship, but their energy was unparalleled. They got the crowd on their feet over and over again, myself and my blisters included. The main singers came out into the dance floor during the bangers, which our guests loved. Each singer had a repertoire that perfectly suited their talents, and we loved how they exploited that. It was really fun to see them indulging in off-the-charts vocalizing. (And also rapping that had me shook!) We truly felt like they were having as great a time as we were.
Jesse served as an excellent MC, introducing our toasts in a humorous and timely manner. Our communication was great, including on the spot decisions (we asked for an extra 15 minute break during dinner, because when they were playing, no one could stop dancing!). Jesse was calm, professional, and light-hearted. I was very impressed by how he carried himself.
The planning process we used was thorough and simple, including only two zoom meetings. The Hook Club has tons of songs to choose from, and can probably learn anything you throw their way. Another huge bonus of The Hook Club is that they have so many members, so they can cobble a group together that best suits your desires.
Again, I cannot recommend this group highly enough. I feel like they truly made the night, and we are indebted to them! Many guests said it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding! Hiring this group might have been our best investment of the night. Props and endless thanks to everyone who tried so hard for us.

Hands down a top wedding highlight! We worked with The Hook Club for our Manhattan wedding in September ‘23, and the DJ Band exceeded our expectations - we had friends and family asking about the band well after the wedding and even following them on instagram! The Hook Club and Dan were incredibly professional from start to finish - they guided us through all key planning decisions, learned our first dance to play live, worked seamlessly with our planner and venue, and created an incredible dance atmosphere! Vocals and musicians (especially the sax!) were on point the whole night. We didn’t have much time for the band to set up during cocktail hour, but they were so professional working with the venue and ensured we didn’t have to give any thought to logistics.

Truly Exceptional Wedding Band

We had 9 members of the Hook Club perform at our 180-person wedding in Manhattan in September 2023. They were truly wonderful from the beginning. Jesse, Dan, and the Hook Club team were super organized with their set list, deadlines for special requests, etc. leading up to the wedding. On the big day, the band was stunning - with outstanding instruments and vocals from all. They're got extensive range of songs/genres and had the audience engaged all night! Off The Charts!!!!

I don't think there are enough superlatives to describe our experience with The Hook Club. "Sensational", "Awesome," "Fantastic" are the first three that come to mind. We hired The Hook Club for our 125 person wedding after speaking with Dan, the owner of the band. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgable. He immediately made us feel confident that he understood the vibe we were going for and that he could deliver a fun energy packed evening. His passion for music definitely shines through. The planning process is a breeze- they have a great system for letting them know what music you like (and what you don't) and for special requests. Their repertoire is extensive. I mean really extensive. Pop, Contemporary, Oldies, Classics, Rock, Country, they can play it. The day of our wedding, The Hook Club NAILED IT. We had very specific requests for the ceremony. Our parents walked down the aisle to Lovely Day and it was a gorgeous arrangement. And we walked down the aisle to Thank you For Being A Friend- The Golden Girls Theme) and when they played it- everybody went crazy. It was so good!!!! The bespoke trio brought the celebratory, loungey fun vibe to our cocktail hour. The reception exceeded expectations. They had the dance floor packed from our pre-dinner dance session (Thank for the suggestion Dan!) all the way to "Last Dance" when everybody took their final spin around the dance floor. We had so many people come up to during the wedding and say how good the 10 piece band was. The entire band and vocalists were engaged, super fun, and sounded like a billion bucks. The energy they create takes a great wedding to an exceptional memorable elevated event. If you are looking for a band for your event- look no further.

Best band ever

The Hook Club was my absolute favorite part of our wedding reception. We told Dan we were looking for an amazing dance party, and we got better than I could have imagined. They are so talented and fun, we've gotten tons of compliments from our guests about how fun the music was to dance to and that they can't believe a wedding band could be that good. We booked the 6-piece DJ band and the set up was beautiful, and each musician was so impressive. They can perform a wide range of genres and the cadence of the songs they played worked perfectly to keep the party going throughout the night . They TRULY know what they're doing to help you have an amazing wedding. The planning process was smooth and clear, we got to choose the songs from an extensive but manageable list, and Dan was so responsive and helpful, offering his expertise to help us make certain decisions. The best NYC wedding band!!

The Hook Club was incredible on our wedding day and we would highly recommend.
They came well reviewed from friends who had attended weddings where THC performed, and we totally get why. They killed it!

Everything about working with The Hook Club was easy - they were responsive throughout the booking and planning process and never left any doubt we had made the right choice. From the initial set of band configurations they had sent over at varying price points to the setlist planning and actual wedding day Dan and Adam were professional, friendly and on top of everything. We wound up going with the DJ/Band option and it was perfect - nearly everyone (including elderly grandparents) were on their feet all night dancing to THC and all we heard about for days after the wedding was how great the music was. They went out of their way to work in a wide mix of genres and the band breaks allowed the DJ to play other fun numbers.

There is a lot to keep track of when planning a wedding and the band is one of the most important parts of the reception - do yourself a favor and book The Hook Club.

They brought the energy!

Where do I begin… THC was the star at our wedding! The two major things I was super excited about for our wedding day (besides marrying my husband lol) were the food and the music, and boy did the music live up to our expectations! Dan and Jesse were so pleasant to work with. They understood the direction/vibe we were looking to have on our special day, and they absolutely delivered! One moment where they blew us away, was when they started the Greek dancing songs for my husband’s family. Jesse learned how to sing three songs and he killed it! Our family members were stunned and confirmed he sang the songs with precision! We can’t thank you enough for putting the effort in to give us those special and unforgettable moments. My only complaint was that the night was too short, and we could’ve danced to them playing all night lol. If you have any doubts about hiring them, make a date night and go to their showcase one night. We took a chance and booked them before seeing them play live but once we did see them, we knew we made the right choice. Thank you, THC!

Everyone loved the band! Our guests reached out to us during the wedding and after to let us know how much they enjoyed the dancing and music. Hook Club provided all our sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Speeches, MC'ing, etc. Great choice to add a sax to the cocktail hour and the DJ + 3-piece + Singer (Ines) was awesome. Energy bringing, show stopping, the best of the best!

The Hook Club is the absolute best decision you can make when hiring music for your wedding or event! My husband and I are musicians ourselves and the bar was set high for the music at our wedding, we knew we had to impress! We didn't want the typical wedding band, we knew The Hook Club would stand out above the rest and we couldn't have been more right!

We hired "THC" back in 2019 when we were engaged and sadly the pandemic had changed our plans. Even in February, 2021, our wedding was still restricted. We did get married but had to cancel our party. We postponed to 2022 but then found out we were pregnant with our son. We weren't sure after having our baby if a party was still in the cards for us but truly, the one thing we were holding onto was being able to dance with all our family and friends with The Hook Club! We decided to finally go through with our postponed reception TWO years later in February, 2023 and we couldn't be happier that we did. The Hook Club stood by us through all our date changes and all our "what ifs" and "not sure" conversations. They were incredibly accommodating and were by our side the whole way. We planned a surprise performance too and "THC" made it look like we've been rehearsing for weeks with them, everyone loved it and is still talking about it, months later!

Not only is The Hook Club a group of some of the best musicians you will ever experience but they are also some of the kindest, most wonderful humans you you will meet and have the pleasure to work with! If you want an absolutely incredible, show stopping, energy bringing wedding band, look no further than THE HOOK CLUB! They are the best of the best!

Highly recommend if you are looking for talented musicians, an easy process, and creating a unique vibe!

We booked The Hook Club for all of the music moments for our big day in February 2023.

Very easy process - They sent a google sheet with questions and for us to comment on music options, so they could get a good sense for our unique preferences. We loved the process & organization, as it made it really easy to collaborate. There was also an opportunity to add requests for songs outside of those they listed - they ended up performing the majority of our special requests!

Extremely talented musicians - they performed unique versions of the songs across a very wide range of genres (from classical to 60s to soul to Latin to EDM…). We started with a solo cellist for the ceremony, the funky trio for the cocktail hour, followed by the DJ Band for the reception. All were fantastic, and each helped set the tone for the different parts of our event.

Guests had a blast! They danced all night and kept asking us where we found the band as they said they were the best one they’ve ever heard at a wedding! The musicians interacted with the guests on the dance floor and we could tell they adapted their set based on the likes and energy of the room.

The Hook Club was a perfect fit for our wedding!

We were looking for a wedding band that would provide energy and excitement, and The Hook Club did just that. They played songs that got everyone up, dancing and singing along. They were also very flexible with the ceremony music—they let us request certain songs and even played a couple of songs they weren't planning on playing at all. We loved how they were able to adjust their set list based on the crowd's reactions.

The Hook Club kept everyone happy throughout the night. We received multiple comments about how great they were—people said they felt like they could really connect with each other because of how much fun everyone was having listening to them play. THC is the band for you!

When my wife and I booked our wedding, the first vendor we were absolutely certain about was The Hook Club. We had seen them perform many times at Groove in NYC, so the choice had never been easier. This review has taken me by far the longest to write, because it is a tall order to do justice to their talents, energy, and professionalism. The bible-length saga of 5 star reviews below mine should tell you one thing: Book this band and never look back. Your only regret will be that your attendees will never stop talking your ear off about how mind-blowing the music was at your wedding.

This band absolutely shreds. Each musician and singer on stage is at the absolute top of their game. Being a pro musician myself, I made a wager with just about everyone in attendance: If this wasn’t the best wedding band you’d ever heard, you have my express permission and encouragement to let me know. No one needed to. It might be the case that more people came up to tell me how f-ing good the band was than said “congrats on your wedding.” Can’t say I blame them. It is worth mentioning that many of those in attendance were also highly critical pro musicians themselves, and their reaction can be distilled down to “I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see a wedding band that knows what they are doing, let alone THIS.”

The process of booking THC was easy as can be, and we were met with the utmost speed and transparency from Dan and Jesse. They explained the various options for band size, the difference between their classic band, full band, DJ band, strings, and more. The music planning worksheet was so easy a monkey could fill it out, and it included countless hit tunes from various eras and genres as well as a handful of blank spaces for specific requests. The band was also extraordinarily helpful with various auxiliary tasks–providing microphones for the ceremony and executing pre-recorded playlists at the proper times.

THC were not just a wedding band to us but an integral part of our wedding planning process. If you’ve planned a wedding before, you’ll know what I mean by that. It’s simply impossible to imagine our special day without them, and we are eternally grateful.

Perfect wedding band

The Best Ever

When you're on the dance floor and your guests keep pointing at the band and screaming 'Best Ever!!', you know you made the right choice.

We spent countless hours researching different wedding bands and absolutely couldn't be happier with our choice. From the first video we saw, The Hook Club's energy jumped off the screen. Their improvisation, composition, and skillful performance was immediately evident. After reaching out, we were thoroughly impressed with Dan & Jesse's professionalism and flexibility. The Hook Club were solution finders - bending over backwards to ensure we could hold our absolute dream wedding. This included a willingness to learn a plethora of new material, provide audio equipment for the ceremony, and visit our venue ahead of time. The band even coordinated to have our recessional song be concurrently played by the cocktail hour trio! A difficult request that The Hook Club made look simple & seamless!

We hired the band for our: ceremony (solo piano), cocktail hour (funky trio), reception (11-piece band), and after party (DJ). Immediately, upon arrival, our guests started commenting on the music and it didn't stop there! Throughout the happy hour, our guests were grooving along to The Hook Club and constantly telling us how good the trio was. But that was all just an appetizer for the main event...

When I say the dance floor was packed, I mean it was PACKED. We asked The Hook Club to deliver the party of a lifetime and boy did they deliver! The seats were empty as our guests danced the night away. Our wedding was full of unforgettable moments, all fueled by The Hook Club. Those moments include: a surprise request for my wife, the guitarist shredding a solo as the crowd went crazy, a rap freestyle in the pit, the crowd drowning out the band as they screamed their lungs out to close the night, and so much more... We may have lost our voices, but the memories we made that night will last forever.

Months later, our guests continue to ask us for referrals to the band. The Hook Club was completely unforgettable. The Hook Club was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding day. The Hook Club was simply the 'Best Ever'!!

Best Wedding Band Ever.

We will be a fan of this band for the rest of our lives. Working with The Hook Club was incredible. From our initial call, we knew this was our wedding band. We were very specific on wanting to book the band we saw in their YouTube and social media posts. The band is extremely talented and had an incredible list of songs to choose from. The Hook Club also allowed us to request a hand full of song that were not on their regular set list and they delivered. No on left the dance floor the entire evening. Amazing Team of Musicians and the MOST Pleasant To Work With!

The Hook Club were just the best!
My wife and I thought a quartet would be a fun addition to our intimate ceremony, and I am SO glad that we ended up finding The Hook Club. We were a little worried an all string quartet would be a little too formal for what we were looking for, but The Hook Club had options for a bunch of different instrument quartets to our preference. Dan and Adam were great at helping us plan the songs we want and even taking a couple requests. They're AMAZING musicians as well, and we were so happy to have them play for us and our guests.

Packed Dance Floor

We absolutely LOVED the Hook Club. Dan was awesome to work with leading up to the wedding. He was organized and wanted to understand us as a couple to help us craft the best night. We were referred to The Hook Club by a family friend who saw them at a wedding and said we had to use them. We trust her judgment, so we went ahead and booked the band. I was a bit nervous because we only listened to the youtube videos, and instagram stories. However they absolutely crushed it! Booking The Hook Club was the best decision we made for our wedding and easily one of the highlights of the night. My wife and I were fixated on finding the right band for our big day and THC exceeded all our expectations. THC has an extensive list of music genres/songs to choose from and did an amazing job learning a few special requests. We cannot recommend The Hook Club enough – this is a special group of individuals who are guaranteed to make your wedding day one you and your guests will never forget!

So many compliments from family and friends

My wife and I were so impressed by The Hook Club and so thankful we hired them for our wedding. Dan and team went above and beyond to be prepared and punctual, and most importantly played their hearts out and made our reception so special. Before the wedding, Dan was very clear about the options and packages they have available, which are all reasonably priced. They have a DJ option, but we opted for the band with two singers instead. Dan took the extra effort to take the 1 hour drive out to our venue to attend a planning meeting with the venue, just so he could make sure everything went extra smoothly on the day of. And it went so smoothly. I'll also mention that Jesse and Dan met with us three times before the wedding to go over music selection and schedule. They stuck to our musical preferences perfectly. And now the most important part: the ceremony and reception. They were AWESOME. Truly made our party what it was. Crazy renditions of Don't Stop Me Now by Queen and so much more. They got everyone dancing and having a good time. I should mention they even learned a special song for our reception. In short, if you want to have a great party at your reception, if you want to dance to some incredible music, if you want your guests to flood you with compliments about the band at your wedding - choose The Hook Club.

Wow that was freaking FUN!

If you want a fun, energetic, and talented band at your wedding, you must have The Hook Club. The dance floor was packed the entire night and played all of our favorite songs. They added so many personal touches to the night and made the evening special. As a couple who loves music and dancing, we literally couldn’t have asked for a better band to play at our wedding. Our guests have not stopped raving about how incredible they are. We cannot recommend them enough. HIRE THEM! You won’t be disappointed, I promise you that.

AMAZING band our guests are still talking about

The Hook Club was a top highlight from our wedding - they are an incredible band!

THC had our guests dancing before we even walked into the reception, and we are still receiving compliments on how wonderful they were from friends and family. They also made our ceremony and cocktail hour magical and memorable.

From the beginning, communicating with Dan and Jesse was great. They were super responsive, clear, and thorough in answering our questions (and we asked a lot!). We were thankful to have a band that was not just phenomenal at the music piece, but also fantastic at planning and communication.

We'd recommend The Hook Club in a heartbeat!

The Best Bespoke Quartet!!

The Hook Club was one of the best decisions we made for our little wedding! Dan and Adam were super responsive and attentive to our questions and requests. The planning process was a breeze, they had an organized questionnaire to collect all the songs we like. The song list provided was already extensive, and they were willing and happy to practice additional songs catered to our requests.
Our bespoke quartet compose of a cello, violin, keyboard, guitar, and even a saxophone! All four members of our quartet were amazingly talented and a pleasure to have at our event, all our guests loved them! The music really set the mood for our celebration, and they even helped made announcements to according to our planned schedule. We couldn’t recommend The Hook Club enough, especially Dan and Adam who helped us throughout the whole process! Our day was made extra special because of them and that’s something we will treasure for a long time! Thank you team!!

Drop everything and book them!

From the very first call my (now) husband and I had with The Hook Club, we were sold. Dan was a great representative for the band. He was informative, he was open to collaborating on ideas, and he had a positive energy about him from start to finish. We decided very quickly to hire them for our June 2022 wedding at Brooklyn Winery.

Our guests are still-- a month later-- raving about how good The Hook Club was and how much fun they had at our wedding. Their performance was perfect, and they over-delivered on every single song. They worked closely with us on any special requests and came up with great ideas when we needed help. We used a 7-member version of the band and everyone was incredible and brought such a great vibe to the night. Bree and L'Marco were stars! I can't wait to get another chance to hear them live!

10/10 - AMAZING! BEST wedding band ever!

10/10 - Highly Recommend - even a MUST HAVE at your wedding! If you want to have the most fun wedding, with the BEST music of all time - hire The Hook Club for your wedding. I have two experiences with The Hook Club - the first was when I was a guest at a wedding in the Hamptons, my best friend got married and they played the best music, the wedding was high energy, happy and all the guests were on the dance floor the entire night! After seeing them live, I reached out to hire them for my wedding in Manhattan (at the NYAC right on Central Park South). I was so impressed by how pleasant and organized Jesse Feathersone and Dan Vernam were to work with. They are true professionals, they know what they are doing and they even supported me on how the wedding reception should flow. They made the preparation process so easy for me, through it I never had to worry about the band logistics because Jesse and Dan gave me the utmost confidence. They have a massive library of songs to choose from and they even learned special songs for the dances (first, mother/son and father/daughter) and special songs to play for us throughout the night - that kind of custom experience is so unusual with wedding bands - I couldn't believe how easy and positive the Hook Club handled these special requests. Every single guest at my wedding could not stop talking about how amazing the band was during and after the fact. My guests were on the dance floor singing and dancing and interacting with them all night. I can't emphasize enough how talented this group is - not just as talented musicians but as talented business people. If you are looking for a stress free experience and a truly talented one of a kind wedding band - HIRE THE HOOK CLUB!!

The Hook Club outperformed all expectations on our wedding day. The vocals, instrumentals and entire mix was outstanding. I would definitely hire them again for another event. They brought so much energy to the reception and kept the dancing going until it was time to go home. Truly the best ever!

The Hook Club is the best wedding band there is. If you have a chance to book them, don't hesitate and consider yourself lucky because I can assure you that not only will you have an incredible time, but also Dan, the band manager, will make the preparation feel so seamless. Dan and The Hook Club stuck with us for nearly three years when COVID delayed our original wedding plans. They remained actively in touch with us to reassure us and keep us organized even as we dealt with new challenges or life events. After we first got in touch with them, they invited us to a band showcase so we could see them on display and I will tell you, we were just blown away from the start. Choosing The Hook Club was a no brainer. Each of the lead singers has a vibrant, beautiful. The band members collectively have a great vibe and they clearly love working together. They hype each other up and it goes a long way in the experience of their performance.

With regards to logistics, they have a very simple music planning worksheet that makes it very clear and easy to communicate exactly what kind of music you'd like to hear at your wedding. Dan also worked together with our ceremony musicians to work out details about sound equipment and we never had to worry about a thing. After a few simple questions about the different phases of the reception, they MCed everything flawlessly and really fed off the vibe of the room. Everything came together perfectly at our wedding reception and we had guests from all ages and styles telling us how much they love The Hook Club. We felt like we were at an amazing, private concert at our wedding reception. They even vibed and riffed with our guests when they sang impromptu and meaningful among themselves. The Hook Club is a talented, thoughtful group of music professionals and we can’t recommend them highly enough!

Best. Band. Ever.

We were lucky enough to have The Hook Club as our dj and band at our wedding. Dan and the team were so easy to work with and took the time to get to know us and throw an amazing show on our big day.

We’re 2 brides and it was important for us to find a diverse and queer band. There were no other bands that even came close. They’re such talented musicians and downright awesome people. We’ve even become friends with several members of the band after we started working with them.

We had envisioned classical strings during our ceremony, a jazzy upbeat vibe during cocktail hour, and a bumping dance party during the reception. The Hook Club was able make that all come true with their amazing cast of skilled musicians. They even helped logistically during the reception in terms of advising us to break up toasts so that there aren’t too many all at once.

So many people came up to us to tell us how rad the band was. If you’re on their page, look no further. This is your band.

Best wedding band!!

It's hard to put into words how incredible the The Hook Club is - they totally surpassed our expectations! They brought incredible talent and energy to our day. The dance floor was packed from the moment our guests entered the reception and the dancing did not stop all night long! We received so many compliments from our guests on how amazing the band was. In addition, Dan was amazing to work with. He is extremely professional and was flexible during a very stressful time (postponing our wedding twice). Although their repertoire is extensive across all genres, The Hook Club was happy to add some off-list song requests which made the event even more special. Would strongly recommend them to anyone!!

The Hook Club is an Amazing Band!

The Hook Club is an amazing band that we wholeheartedly recommend. They performed at my daughter's wedding at the Pleasantdale Chateau on 3/27/22 and everyone loved them. Dan is a pleasure to work with and made sure the wedding went exactly as planned. The band's vocals are incredible - especially Brianna and LiMarco. The sound of the 10 piece band filled the ballroom of 250 people and the volume was appropriately loud without being deafening. So many of my guests asked for the band's contact information - they are that impressive. If I could give them 10 stars I would- they are the best!!!

The Hook Club Wedding Review - String Trio

If we could give more than 5 stars, we certainly would! We hired The Hook Club to play as a trio (violin, cello, keyboard) for our intimate wedding (~40 people). Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. We corresponded with Dan, who is extremely professional, along with being a talented musician. All aspects of working with Dan -- from planning to day-of entertainment -- was fantastic. We had comments from many of our guests, expressing how much they enjoyed the music throughout the course of the evening. We cannot recommend The Hook Club enough!

Recommending to Everyone

The Hook Club was a pleasure to work with and a highlight of our wedding. We had them play for our 140-person wedding in Brooklyn this past October. We had done several calls with different bands in the local area, and from the first few minutes on the phone with Dan, we knew The Hook Club was the band for us. His professionalism, friendliness, and passion for putting together the best party possible for my wife and I made it an easy decision.

The band provided us with a large song library to choose from and Dan was proactive and very responsive in helping us put together a final set list. They were flexible with additional song requests and were a huge value add when it came to working with our venue to help figure out timelines and logistics for the evening.

The Hook Club crushed the performance and brought a ton of energy to make sure everyone was up and dancing until the last song. Our wedding guests repeatedly still bring up how great the music and the bands performance was. I would highly recommend The Hook Club to anyone that is looking to work with talented, experienced, and professional group of musicians.

The best to work with

The Hook Club team is THE BEST to work with. They are reliable, reasonable, fun, helpful, and most importantly, incredibly talented. We had a truly wonderful time working with Dan who runs the band (and also happens to be an incredibly talented musician). He was super flexible as we changed our wedding plans due to COVID, came to our wedding venue to make sure they could make the best use of the space and maximize acoustic quality, and had great suggestions. Dan also took the time to speak with our wedding planner and answer multiple questions, worked well with other vendors, and went above and beyond to make the night awesome (he even stayed to emcee the event as a surprise to us!) Furthermore, all of the venues we looked at knew The Hook Club said "you're in great hands with regards to acoustics--they really know their stuff." I cannot recommend this band enough.

The greatest wedding band in existence!

The Hook Club was 100% the star of our wedding. They were lively, insanely energetic, incredibly nice and unbelievably talented. We had a few pieces during the ceremony (so beautiful), 8 pieces during the reception, and they DJ-ed our after party. The dance floor was packed the entire night! It's been over a week since our wedding and we're STILL getting messages from friends and family about how amazing the band was. If your #1 goal of your wedding is to make sure the dance floor is never empty, The Hook Club is your answer. On top of making the night perfect, they're a TREAT to work with. Dan is very organized and makes the planning process so easy - something we really appreciated! I promise you, you will not be disappointed if you book this great group of people for your wedding!

Stop looking and book them!

No hesitation…book this band! Great communication from the start, they will configure anything for you to match the experience you’re looking for, they bring the energy, and they are super talented! Their 7pc band played at my friend’s reception and they were amazing, so good that I called her 2 years later to ask who her band was so I could book them for mine. I had the DJ band at mine and the dance floor was packed. Great combo of the live experience while being able to play those songs you want to hear in original form. People haven’t been able to stop raving about it and thought it was so unique. The lead vocalist brought such great energy and was so good…we found out he was on tour with The Rolling Stones so that gives you an idea of the caliber of talent. Talking to Dan to set everything up was like talking to a friend. I reached out to him before I had an official date and venue booked just to make contact and he started helping me find a venue, sending me lists of places he thought I would like. No contract in place, he just wanted to help. Also, I had seen a violinist playing with modern tracks and wanted that for my reception and he went out and found someone he trusted who could do it for me and Adam really took the idea and had fun with it. You will be so glad you booked The Hook Club!

The Hook Club was amazing!

The Hook Club was both absolutely amazing to work with and were phenomenal at our wedding – every wedding guest remarks on how they were the best band they’ve seen at a wedding (regardless of age). Not only is the band extraordinarily talented (and fun), but Dan was wonderful to work with. He was extremely responsive and patient, made sure we understood the entire process, and made it as easy as possible for us. The Hook Club strings were amazing for our pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour – they created a perfect atmosphere and experience leading into the reception. The Best Band Ever

Tldr - the hook club killed it!

TLDR - The Hook Club KILLED IT! Planning a wedding is hard and planning a wedding during a pandemic is near impossible - Dan and The Hook Club made that process so much easier! Not only was Dan a pleasure to work with when we had to reschedule, but was always available to answer questions throughout the entire planning process. It was awesome to be able to see the band play live at several of their showcases leading up to our wedding (pre-pandemic) and when it came to the day of they did NOT disappoint. Everyone was amazing from L'Marco , Bree, Dan - to the rest of the band who's names I wish I knew - extra shout out to the sax player (who doesn't love a good sax). The band did an amazing job curating the perfect playlist that covered all genres and kicked off with an awesome hora which was a requirement for my family. You can tell how much THC loves what they do and it shows when they are right in the middle of a dance circle singing with the guests or at the bar singing on a handheld mic getting even more guests back onto the dance floor. Highlight of my night was doing the electric slide (to a song I can't remember, but was into) with about half the band on the middle of the dance floor without any planning whatsoever. Everyone keeps raving about the band and I can't wait to see them again soon at friends weddings or at a future showcase. Book THC and you won't regret it!
