The Hobson is housed in the former City Building in downtown Kokomo. The Richardsonian Romanesque-style building was built in 1893, and has undergone an intricate, stunning renovation to bring it to up to today's standards. The third floor now houses the breathtaking two-story ballroom, which is able to hold up to 175 guests. The handsomely-constructed bar connects the ballroom to the lounge area, adorned with vintage-inspired William Morris wallpaper and bold brass fixtures. This area is an ideal choice for some mingling and pictures during the cocktail hour. There is also an outdoor area that is available, as well as some well-equipped get-ready rooms.
