Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, Indiana Landmarks Center is a historic wedding venue that was originally built in 1892. Featuring glamorous embellishments and accent pieces, this stunning destination is a testament to preservation. Having gone through trials of long-term neglect and dilapidation, this venue has been lovingly restored and refurbished. Nowadays, it welcomes many different types of events to come in and experience the elegant surroundings, complete with rich details.
Facilities and Capacity
Indiana Landmarks Center lived a former life as the Central Avenue United Methodist Church. Following 2011, it began a new life as Indiana Landmarks Center. Original elements, such as ornate ceilings, gold filigree, and elegant wood, were preserved in the restoration process of this venue. Through this consideration, hallmarks of the Grand Hall and Cook Theater were saved and are beautifully showcased in this newest iteration of the building. Outside, there is the Place de Basile courtyard, manicured and cared for by expert gardeners. For smaller occasions, couples may find the Morris-Butler House attractive. There, they can accommodate cozier gatherings amongst Victorian antiques. Depending on the place of hosting, between 30 and 550 guests can attend an event held on this historic campus.
Services Offered
Indiana Landmarks Center is pleased to provide clients with a preferred caterer list. While at the venue, meals can be prepared on-site by utilizing the full-service kitchen or the two serving kitchens. With flexible options available, couples can choose the vendor that suits their needs and budget. Decorations are welcome, though they are subject to approval by Indiana Landmarks Center. Couples will also have the opportunity to supply their own flowers, band, DJ, and wedding cake. Depending on party sizes and venue spaces used, there may be an area suited for a cocktail reception prior to any seated dinners. For those getting ready on-site, there are rooms available to change and prepare in at the campus. Wedding planners are not provided, however, Indiana Landmarks Center's team will coordinate and work with hired vendors to assist with day-of execution.

Our venue site coordinator was always prompt in returning my emails and was VERY sweet and accommodating! Any time we had a meeting, she was always right there by the entry door waiting for our arrival. I could go on and on but the point is, I've coordinated many weddings in the past and I was so blessed to have come across this amazing venue for my own special day.
