The Hill Chapel is nestled in Northern Maryland, in historical New Market.

The Chapel was built in the 1860’s and offers a relaxing, beautiful, old world
Atmosphere to create the ceremony of your dreams.


Whether you are planning your wedding, commitment ceremony, vow-renewal, etc…
Our Chapel is yours to decorate and make your very own for your special day!
As a non-denominational chapel, all are welcome.

This place was so perfect for our 100 person wedding! Kelley and her husband are a joy to work with, and were so incredibly helpful with making everything run smoothly!

The Hill Chapel is an amazing place to get married. Kelly is an amazing help on the big day and the months leading up to it. The chapel and house were beautiful and they do everything to make the day so wonderful. They personalize things in the house, so that when you are getting ready it is just gorgeous and she provides refreshments for the bridal party while getting ready. The service and venue were amazing and I would recommend this chapel to everyone!!!

The team at The Hill Chapel can be described no other way than fantastic. The venue itself is just beautiful, perfect in every way. The fees were more than reasonable for the service provided. Kelley was extremely accommodating, and helped to ensure that our day went without a problem. The chapel has a beautiful garden for pictures after weddings, and they were kind enough to furnish the gazebo with flower baskets matching our scheme. Light refreshments where offered to our guests before and after the service. I cannot stress enough how helpful they were. From our initial contact inquiring about the chapel, to the actual day of ceremony. We had to move dates at one point, which was simple, easy, and stress free. The service was above and beyond any thing we expected, and i would recommend the chapel to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate, gorgeous venue. Absolutely the best choice in the area!

Paul and Kelley are wonderful! The Chapel is simple and beautiful. The stained glass is awesome and the acoustics are fantastic! Thank you for a wonderful wedding and a wonderful day!
